Cupid enters the garden and observes its lake, before entering the hidden town by herself through a lonely path. It is then when she gets greeted by Aura, who wishes to welcome Cupid across the neighborhood, claiming he's got a lot to show from it. Cupid follows Aura’s lead across the empty town and its multiple houses, the latter claims there’s so much more to learn about it than meets the eye, but regardless regulations must be set. Aura asks Cupid if she would like to join his movement, Cupid responds she’s unsure but regardless she would like to check out the town some more, thus Aura leaves her alone for the time being. While Cupid goes on a stroll, she enters the town’s lost woods, once again empty, along with the Pumpkin King’s message. Once she returns to the town again however, she sees all the homes being filled with banners and flags, akin to Aura’s cult, in shock Cupid runs away and retreats to the woods again, where she meets Guru, who welcomes her over to a hidden library, where he likes to keep to his studies. Guru is aware of Aura’s movement, but regardless he knows of another home, not far from here where Cupid and he may as well stay once things slowly blow over.
Cupid suddenly wakes up from her dream, and sees the sky above her, among the autumn leaves surrounding the field. She heads over to the cafe, where she is greeted by Rex and Lotus, Rex has already heard about the festival and has been looking for an invitation since, ready to cause a bit of a “spook.” Lotus too believes everyone will have a great time. Once the two leave, Cupid notices something odd about the cafe and decides to investigate a little bit. She enters a room but couldn’t figure out what could possibly be there that roped her in. She later leaves through the exit, the festival is still a couple days away from being celebrated, thus she decides to kill some time at the town for a while. She later runs into Dyna, who welcomes her over to the festival again, the latter explains that she’s already fixed most of the designs, but could have sworn there’s something missing among those lines. Confused, Cupid wonders what Dyna could be talking about, regardless it appears things are really setting in motion. Dyna shows Cupid a portrait of the festival, which is said to have occurred years or decades ago, where everything was in full motion and the townspeople celebrated. The two sit together as Dyna wonders about how things can improve, after a while the festival gets set in motion, with bright lights, fireworks, performances, all forming a spectacle, which Cupid enjoyed all for the time being.
Cupid enters the town, where she meets Guru who guides her across the neighborhood streets. They both are the only ones currently remaining at the city, but that’s bound to change once they get greeted by Roman, who declares he will be supervising these grounds, and that it’s best for everyone to cooperate with procedures. Nevermind that, Guru wanted to show Cupid something cool, and leads her to the town’s castle, he then shows her inside the interior, where everything is intact and stable, however some halls are locked due to a strange lock. Although Guru claims this castle is predicted to get set in flame, he believes that it can still be a home, at least for now, and that there’s still so much worth seeing regardless of whatever outcome follows. Perhaps the two can figure out where the prophecy is coming from, regardless the two-stay put where they are, and remain at the castle for the time being. Guru later shows Cupid over to other ventures across the town, like the praying grounds, the church and later the festival, which is still being rebuilt. Cupid wonders if maybe she could find a home to stay here for the time being, to which Guru suggests that she may as well find it, if she looks close enough. Cupid later ventures through the forest by herself, where she runs into Polaris who’s hiding from the officials due to her presumable crimes, however Cupid is curious as to what she could possibly be hiding at this time. Cupid follows Polaris and later makes it over to what appears to be a small forest town, where Polaris has indeed been hiding for the time being. Once Polaris finds out Cupid did indeed find her here, she welcomes her, of course before warning her not to rat her out.
Polaris later invites Cupid to come back to the main town again, where she decides to “show her the ropes” of what goes on around her. Before she knew it, Polaris starts breaking into home after home, looking for any valuables as Cupid watches up far. Although Polaris encourages Cupid to join her in her antics, the latter instead leaves the scene and reunites with Guru. Guru has heard of the forest town and has often come to visit it, but regardless he wants to show Cupid something different, and takes her over to an entirely different street on its own right. The two have arrived at the hidden part of the town, and traverse across the dim streets that match the houses. As they continue, they then make it over a big house with light inside, Cupid heads closer to take a look as opposed to what could be hiding, though Guru warns her to be careful. Once Cupid is inside, she notices all sorts of different tools, some antique and others more modern, however one thing that really struck out to her was a nearby banner she found, matching a certain other she may find in her dearest future. As she continues pressing forward, she heads over to a more emptier room, and hears chanting from the distance, when she finally makes it to the basement and indicates that there’s most likely a cult hidden under there. Cupid leaves the scene in dismay and manages to make it out the door to reunite with Guru, however the latter was already gone. Cupid too decides to leave altogether, and recrosses the street once more to reach the nearest light of town.
Cupid crosses the street while she could have sworn someone was watching her. Regardless, she makes it to the base town again and meets Guru. She asks him why he left like that, to which he responded it was to evade suspicions, as someone was likely watching. Cupid and Guru cross the rest of the town, which has become slightly more animated than before, ever since her and the others have arrived and turned it into their new home. Nevertheless, Cupid now finds it a good time to be on the lookout for the five tools to make the key in order to gain entry through the castle. She finds one hidden at a bush in the forest, another hidden in a basement and two more back at the castle. She eventually finds the last one just outside in the garden, hidden under another bush. She figured this out thanks to a map she got from Kite, now that she has all the pieces she meets up with Guru again over to the castle in order to fulfill their guest.
Ever since Cupid’s stay, several people have been reported missing among her small community, such as Rex, Giselle and Polaris, who has been confirmed to have been held hostage among the town’s “new law”, due to her obvious law breaking, and is likely being held at the castle at this moment, or some other locked location. Ever since Cupid met Polaris, the latter has bragged about committing multiple crimes, such as vandalism, burglary, theft and even identity theft; it's unclear if it’s all confirmed, although Cupid believes some of it likely is. While Cupid was looking for all the parts, she snooped around the empty castle halls until she came running into who appears to be Roman, who’s supervising the area for any intruders, yet hasn't spotted her at the moment. Cupid stays hidden for the time being while carefully navigating the place to not get spotted. She finds one room to stay in the clear for now, however Roman gains suspicion after hearing a distant noise and goes on the lookout, close by from Cupid. Once it finally seems like he was about to catch her, he instead goes after another figure nearby whom Cupid spots outside from a window and could swear it was Polaris. After a bit of a tussle, Polaris escapes the scene, with Roman chasing right after her, thus giving Cupid an open window to head out after finishing her search. After finally getting what she needed, she leaves the scene swiftly, before Roman returns, and heads on to the main town again.
Cupid arrives at the castle along with Guru, and enters the locked hall among the keys she has, where she meets Rush among the library he resides in. She finds several books across the library, along with what appears to be tied to the history of the hidden town, and the flame prophecy to begin with, however she didn't have time to read all of them. After leaving the castle due to Aura’s invasion, Cupid later spends some time with Hobie, as the latter has already planned out how she’s going to change this town for the better, and could use Cupid’s help in doing so. While Hobie was orienting her plans to the city, she stood atop a home, as lights were lit and everyone was paying attention to her. Now she shows Cupid the beauty of the lights, and places them all across the houses to add a lasting effect. Cupid always wondered where those lights could possibly take her, and that they could lead to somewhere all the more intriguing. Regardless, she eventually gets exhausted helping Hobie, as she’s already decorating what appears to be the seventh home and later meets Kite, who’s working on some community ventures, and could use a helping hand. Most of Kite’s ventures are small yet charitable, and she’s even set up shop where she likes to sell small goods to customers. Cupid even got a hat she liked. She later sees those lights again and follows them, wondering where they could take her.
Cupid finds the first clue to solve the pumpkin king’s riddles and find all his pumpkins. She arrives at the castle and finds the first pumpkin at the garden, and then at the interior where she meets the King again who pops up with a smoke bomb, “a place where the sleepless always sleep.” was her hint. Cupid eventually figures out she should go to the praying grounds, once she arrives, she sees another pumpkin close by, along with the King who bounces in, ready to give her the next riddle, "as only God can". Once the King disappears, Cupid spots nearby signals coming from the distant sky, shaped like glowing pumpkins, among her is also Kite, who helps with the quest and finds an artifact she recognizes from the church, thus they head on there. Once they arrive, they find that the church has already been destroyed by some type of contraption, with the culprit being unknown. It appears now their journey has come to an end, however Cupid sees one last firework go off nearby the festival, and rushes over among Kite, where she reunites with the rest of her friends only to later get ambushed by Aura’s spies again. After a while, once Cupid, Giselle and Wild would board the train, where they would go through multiple courses together across the town, all while skipping the destinations and heading with full speed, with the blood moon shining brighter than ever. Moments later, Cupid becomes the town’s new seeker, with her clan here to support her in every way, ready to shape this town into something all the newer. During her time as the seeker, Cupid has been reading more stories at the library, from the past or fiction.
The End
