Remin resides in an empty large castle and makes it to the great hall, where he meets Evelyn, Sacha and Zuleika, three servants of the castle. Sacha claims he’s been looking for someone, whereas Evelyn and Zuleika are here to take care of the castle’s decorations and furniture. Remin was looking forward to hosting a giant event, almost like a party believing it will change things up, and heads over to the kitchen to prepare the meals. Once that’s done, he asks Zuleika and Evelyn to prepare the tables and dishes that will be decorated for the feast, after finding Sacha he also meets Cerys, the person Sacha was supposedly looking for, and asks Sacha to help him with further decorations to lighten the place up, including music. After that, Remin heads over to the lower and upper halls to make sure everything’s nice and tidy, until heading over to the basement, for even further decorations for said halls. Once everything is arranged, Remin gets ready to call out any visitors to join his special party, and waits for all the invitations to roll in.
After some waiting, Remin gets greeted by Evelyn who exclaims all the invites have finally arrived, thus the party is ready to start! Remin meets with Sacha, who heads elsewhere ignoring the party altogether, the halls were decorated with carpets, rugs, flowers, chandeliers etc, and so much food, After a while, the entrance doors slowly open, as it finally seems like the bright guests have arrived! Sure enough they all come swirling in through the castle halls, however a dragon suddenly swoops in from above and burns down everything in its sight as Remin could do nothing but run for cover. Although Remin managed to stay hidden for some time, it didn’t take long for the dragon to find him, and cast down its fire on him, thus knocking him out in the process. Remin later wakes up surrounded by flames and ash scattering the walls and room, along with Sacha who’s trying to come up with anything to clean up their new mess.
Remin meets Cerys and Evelyn, who are here to help Remin redecorate everything, Zuleika however insists that the gang move somewhere far from the castle, in case the dragon shows up again. As for Sacha, he’s still looking for answers at the library, when Remin suddenly gets greeted by Spirit, a supposed mage who insists she would like to take Remin somewhere of interest. Remin then gets taken to a dark hidden hall at the castle, which leads to the outside garden. Evelyn’s already here, as she cheerfully takes Remin over to the castle garden, which happens to be maze-like and filled with sculptures and water fountains. There’s said to be a weapon of some kind hidden there that can take down the dragon, thus Remin is encouraged to go out his way to find it. Luckily, Spirit has a tracking spell that can help Remin maneuver the dizzing paths. Evelyn’s already on the search, whereas Cerys can be found cutting grass and overall decorating the nature. Remin goes with Spirit, as they make it across the paths and turns, thus going deeper into this promising maze.
Remin and Spirit are now in the middle of the garden maze, until sure enough they run into a glowing blade that’s supposed to slay the dragon. The blade was stuck in a stone, with light shining down on it at an ending path, Remin picks the blade up and heads back to the garden entrance again and back to the castle, where he keeps it there in case the dragon decides to show up again. Now that that’s out of the way, he and the others get the decorations back, while Sacha heads over to the library again. Zuleika manages to find a spot to move to, and encourages Remin to join her, however Remin insists he’s got some decorating to do. He and the others get the tables, decorations and food ready, until Remin gets greeted by Cerys, who’s also open to bringing her own unique decorations to the party, which she claims are hidden somewhere in the garden.
Once they arrive and collect the hidden resources, they head back to the castle and redecorate everything head to toe, the parties ready to recommence, as Remin waits for all the invites to flood in. Zuleika however still convinces Remin to leave the castle again, as she insists the dragon will still likely come by. The guests have finally arrived, as the floors and walls that once were covered with ash and flame have been rinsed back to shape. Everyone enjoys the party once more, until sure enough Remin could hear the dragon coming by nearby, however this time he comes prepared and brings out his blade to a ready position. Sadly much to Remin’s dismay, the dragon still burns down the entire party with its flame coming from another direction, however once Remin rearranges his position, he takes the opportunity to slash the dragon down with a magic beam once it was close enough from below. Now that the dragon goes down, Remin finally plunges down with a finishing blow, thus finally killing the dragon once and for all as it disappears in flames, albeit at the cost of his party once again. Remin heads outside to get some fresh air, and returns to the castle again. This time he finally takes Zuleika’s word for it and decides to leave the castle for good, knowing it will never truly be safe from any threat. He then marches on across the terrain, with Zuleika forging the path confident they will one day reach a haven of her choosing.
The End
Once Remin returns to the castle, he is once again devastated to see the walls spread with ash and fire again, along with the destroyed furniture. He heads over to the library, but gives up and arrives at his personal room, not knowing how he could get over this mess. He eventually gets a knock from Evelyn, who insists he returns to the main hall again, once Remin arrives he gets greeted by the remaining party guests, who bring out their decorations of their own, and show Remin over to the garden, where they can resume the rest of their party. It turns out those decorations were indeed the ones Cerys was talking about, meaning she was hiding them for all this time up to this point. Remin and the others continue celebrating their party there, which although smaller than the one before, still holds up in its own unconventional way.
The End II
Sacha did some research at the library based on the dragon, where he learned that the dragon was supposedly a human once before mutating throughout unknown means, and it was its goal to burn down the castle every time there was a party along its host, its unknown as to why, though regardless how powerful and successful the dragon was, Remin and the others had something it didn’t, a second chance. After the dragon’s death, it’s unknown if it gets resurrected, though regardless the castle still remains standing.
