Chapter 2. The Infusion of the Devil

As time passed, something dark took root inside Biboy. The thirst for revenge had been satisfied, but instead of peace, it left behind a void - a hunger that couldn't be filled.

He became more aggressive, his temper short, his patience nonexistent. Violence no longer needed a reason; it had become second nature. The rage that once fueled him against his bullies now turned inward, spreading like poison.

One day, he did something unthinkable.

He raised his hand against his own brother.

The same brother he once swore to protect. The same family he had once fought for. The infusion of the devil was complete.

Biboy no longer recognized himself, but the worst part was - he didn't even care.

With no more enemies to fight in the streets, he was now battling the most dangerous opponent of all - himself.

With no one left to tame Biboy's heart, he changed drastically. The soft-spoken, gentle boy he once was began to fade, replaced by someone unrecognizable - someone colder, darker, and consumed by the fire within.

To complete the infusion of the devil, drugs were introduced to the gang.

Biboy was not immune to this new temptation. Someone in the gang offered it to him, and in his burning desire for more power, he took it - without hesitation.

The methamphetamine surged through his veins, igniting him like never before. It felt like a power booster, making him feel invincible, unstoppable. The infusion was now complete.

Biboy had become more dangerous than ever. No longer just a fighter - he was a storm, a force of destruction, a ticking time bomb ready to explode.

More drugs were introduced to the gang, and with each passing day, Biboy was rotting - piece by piece - consumed by methamphetamine.

What started as a taste of power soon became an addiction. The hunger grew. The need for more never stopped.

At first, they stole from their own homes - small things, unnoticed. But that wasn't enough. They took the next step.

They learned how to steal - first from strangers, then from anyone unlucky enough to cross their path.

And before they knew it, they had crossed a line they could never return from.

They were no longer just a gang. They were robbers. Criminals. Slaves to a borrowed power that was never truly theirs.

Biboy had reached the point of no return.

He was no longer just lost - he was unsaveable. The drugs, the violence, the darkness - it had consumed him entirely.

Only divine intervention could save him now.

Biboy and the gang continued their day-to-day activities, but with their criminal activities, the law had set its eyes on them. Their first major encounter with the police happened when they attempted to rob a jeepney. They managed to escape, but one of the passengers shouted for help.

To avoid capture, Biboy and the gang decided to split up and confuse the good Samaritan who had started following them. Biboy and two others were lucky and got away, but another member, Dek, got separated and took a wrong turn. He was cornered by the so-called concerned citizen, but little did they know, this man had his own plans. He was tired of the gang's violence and saw this as the perfect opportunity to teach them a lesson.

While one concerned citizen held Dek, another man slipped behind him and stabbed him three times. Two of the stab wounds struck his scapula, while the third pierced his lung. The attacker fled as if nothing had happened, leaving Dek struggling to breathe due to the fatal wound. Dek was lucky - the police arrived just in time. If they hadn't, no one knew what could have happened to him.

Dek was captured and rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery. Fortunately, he survived the attack. The police interrogated him, trying to make him reveal his friends' identities, but Dek didn't falter. Instead, he was sent to jail to pay the price.

Upon hearing the news, Biboy and the gang were deeply troubled. They knew they were now being hunted, even though the police had no leads on them yet. In the back of Biboy's mind, he realized they had become public enemies. He also knew that once the neighbors found out what had happened to Dek, the news would spread like wildfire - the community was well aware of their gang's existence.

The Gang decided to lay low for a while since this was the common strategies among criminal minds.
