The major problem in this world is corruption .
So true it is but have we thought about the reasons for it?
Ok lets not talk about corruption by Millionaires of the world but more at the ground level where its actually getting operated.
Millionairs initiate it true but its executed by our loved, suppressed middle class. They are the actual people who are the bridge where its all getting operated.
Have we ever thought the reason of it??? We just read newspapers and decide that they are culprit. So and so sons and daughters are corrupt , they cheated, took bribe blah blah blah.
BUT the question is WHY? Do they like it, were they born to do it? Ofcourse not…………………..!!!!!!!!!
The reason is simple they are the ones in society getting daily doze of values, Sanskar, idiologies…
Still they do it…… YES why not coz while on one hand our elders teach us values and on the other hand they judge us for not rising up the stairs of richness,
Lets accept it, in today’s world values and success hardly goes hand in hand.
No no it doesn’t mean that hard working middle class is not successful of course they are but they are not staircases of wrong in society. I am talking about the mediocre, less talented, less successful ones.
Whole life they get compared, judged and taunted. So only option they have is to reach the upper ladder at any cost. BOOM!!!!!!!!!! Here enters the short cut…
So our friend Ishaan was a good boy, rather an innocent soul.
Never good in anything specific but yes was good natured, well mannered. Unlike her cousins who were flashy, popular, topper. Of course the earlier generation were masters of comparison experts and for them was hardly existent in his world.
But who doesn’t like attention, so he decided to create attention on his own. Cooking up stories where he was the hero, talked about. It was all going fine till adolescence but theres a saying, old habits die last.
He grew up an average , mediocre but happy soul. Who loved helping people, got happy about his friend’s success. But here comes the reality check. COMPARISON. Why no fancy job? Why no fancy package?
“ was he even eligible to exist?” he got trapped again in same competing expectations. He started loosing confidence, zeal to be happy. But showing success was soooo necessary right to survive so shortcut came……..
He decided weight of conscious suddenly felt lighter than weight of corruption. He agreed and we know he good at what he did, had good image, corruption started flowing innocently…..
Food for thought:
“was COMPARISON that necessary? Cant parents see beyond whose the star??”
So whats the basis of it? Money greed or family pressure?
