We often keep so much to ourselves that it starts forming our core character.
in the race of becoming together, are we losing our individuality?
I saw a dialogue in the movie that " Kahin pahunchne ke liye kahin se nikalna padta hai( to reach somewhere you need to leave from current space). But we are so lost in our comfort zone that we start believing that it is the only truth. We fail to admit or rather we fail to realize that it's not our true self.
We get compliments, criticisms, comments, appreciations and we get so emotionally involved in the words that we forget it was just words not the emotions. It was never meant to shape us but just individual opinions and thoughts. It always frames our further character instead of filtering what is positive. Sooner, then it starts changing us and our personality and we become the live portrait of those comments, compliments and criticisms.
Now our friend Ishaan, needless to say he became the AI version of all these and more. He was right or wrong is not the question here but was he authentic? NO . he was just becoming what everyone around was expecting and sooner he was one of them and no one remembered what he was like actually.....
Question here is how to deal with this universal concern?
DECLUTTER YOURSELF.
Not just remove everything not necessary in your life in terms of furniture, old clothes but also declutter your thoughts.
Remove all people, relations that are old and useless. Because it's the law of nature that old things are meant to be discarded. No no, i am not saying leave behind all morals and values and traditions. They can never be old but declutter and leave what has no meaning today.
The traditions that were made during a certain time was not meant to follow today as well.
We often get confused with faith and rituals. These 2 have no connections whatsoever. Relating one with another often leads to defining the faith in the wrong way.
Our beloved religious Book "GITA" said " its better to break traditions that has no meaning today".
But we keep cluttering old and rotten thoughts, keep toxic people in our life in the name of relationships, tolerate friends who are mean and show only when need.
It's the need of the hour to DECLUTTER and let go. Then see Life will have a new meaning and will bloom the way it was meant to be.
Food for Thought:
Are we all too scared to declutter?
