Introduction
Hi, my name is Urena, I am the Goddess of Honesty. I am 16 years old and I live with my mom and my dad. To be honest, I never knew I was a goddess. Suppose you're in your god/goddess stage then. You're in the right place because this story is basically about how I became a goddess. I can easily use my honesty powers on anybody, but I haven't learned how. Do you think I will be able to make it out alive? My REAL mom and dad sent me to Tokyo, Japan to have a FAKE mom and dad. Now, I'm trying to find out where my parents are and who they are. Help me travel through this time. My FAKE mom and dad call me Luna. I suppose it is cool, but how do people in Japan say it? "??" It is so cool! I know some Japanese, but I CAN NOT speak Chinese. I can speak a little Chinese, but my parents say they won't allow me to learn the language.

Cheating
It was my first day of school and my parents homeschooled me. I never went to the original school where child prodigies are. (Child Prodigy; smart kids). Usually, I stay home and read some books. My mom called me, "Luna! Time for school!" I came downstairs and said, "Okay, be right there!" My dad was on a call, but I didn't understand what he was saying. He speaks Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese. He was speaking Spanish. He said, "Listen, I can't come to work today. I know I'm sorry I just have trouble at home and it's really urgent." I was so suspicious. He always goes to work, but why not today? Is it mom's birthday? Is it a fun event? What was I missing? I overheard my dad talking to my mom, "I have to go to work. I won't be back until midnight. So, dont wait for me. Okay? Bye." I told my mom I was going to go to school, but since there was no school today and I go in Tuesday I followed my dad. He was at some girl's house. She was short, pretty, 5'3, with brunette short hair, and she was wearing a dress. My dad smooched her cheek and said something that made me so angry. He said to the lady, "Hey, my queen." It was cheesy, but really? Cheating on mom? I took a picture and ran back to the house. I told my mom that I forgot that there was no school until Tuesday. And I waited all day for my dad to come back. I waited until midnight. He came back with red smooched lips on his cheeks. And turned on the lights. "Jesus! Why are you up this late? Huh? Who are you waiting for, you crazy?" I laughed fo0r a bit and I said, "I wasn't waiting for anyone, except you. Where were you today?" I saw the fear in his eyes and something weird happened. I looked him dead in the eyes and he told me the truth. My dad said, "I was at work- I was at my side chick's house, I am cheating on your mom. Sorry." I was surprised. But wait? How did I do that? He was about to lie, but he spoke the truth when I looked him dead in the eye. Did I do something? He was surprised as well. "Why did I say that? What the h#ll happened," said my dad. I said, "I don't know." I noticed my mom staring at my dad as she was in the kitchen drinking milk and overhearing the conversation. My dad said, "Please don't tell your mother? I am really sorry, but I had no choice." My mom walked out of the kitchen with tears running down her cheek. "I think I heard enough." My dad was so scared, but he started an argument. I ran into my room and covered my ears as they started to scream, "It's all your fault!" "NO! YOU MADE ME DO THIS BECAUSE I LOST MY JOB AND SHE HAS LOTS OF MONEY FOR ME TO GIVE! IT'S ACTUALLY YOUR FAULT." and more arguing. I never cried in my life because I'm not that emotional, but arguing because of me? That just hit the spot. Now I wonder. What if something bad happens?
The Divorce
It has been 2 weeks since the argument and they never talked. My dad walks into the room where me and my mom are having breakfast. My mom and I were talking about girls' night and what we should do. All of a sudden the room goes deeply silent. It was more silent than a mouse. My dad walks in and says, "Okay, I'm leaving Luna. Behave and I'll be right back. Are you okay being home alone?"
He just gave her the silent treatment. That must've hit hard. I can't believe that they are ignoring each other. I ignored them and went to school because I had transferred. "Hello, you must be Luna. Correct?" "Yes, I am." "Ah, well I mustn't be disrespectful. Let me introduce myself. I am Mr. Cheng. I am the principal of this fabulous school." "Uhm, Okay. Can I get my schedule?" "Oh, yes of course. Your homeroom is Schoolroom A1." I walked down the hall to find my schoolroom. I was lost, but a young man who seemed familiar to me said, "You're the new kid, right? I'm Ares like the god of war. Where you off?" His name was Ares. Like- the god of war? Wow. I'm impressed. I wonder who his father is. I HAVE to know. I was surprised so I said, "Yeah, I am. I'm Luna and I need to go to Schoolroom A1, but I'm lost. Can you help me and give me a tour? And can we also be friends?" He was so polite. I never met a man who's named Ares that's nice. That's crazy. He said, "Sure, I'll give you a tour I'm actually going there right now and we could be friends. Come on we got to go or we'll be late to homeroom." We both walked to the homeroom and everybody stared at me whispering stuff about me. "Guys, meet the new kid. Luna. She is a cool kid. Don't worry." I was having a fun time in school, but I went back home and I see both of my parents in tears. I went to see what was going on and I saw papers? Papers for a divorce. My mom noticed and said, "Luna- I-" I was so mad and I interrupted her before she spoke, "WHAT IS THERE THAT YOU HAVE TO SAY? THE PAPERS SAY IT ALL. I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU GUYS WOULD HAVE A DIVORCE BECAUSE OF ONE CHICK. DAD, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE FACT THAT YOU DID SOMETHING UNBELIEVABLE AND SO DUMB, WHY CAN'T YOU FIX YOUR PROBLEMS?" My mom looks at my dad and says, "Tell her. Right now." My dad was scared, but he didn't care. He lied to me. He said, "I'm leaving her because she isn't pretty- I am leaving her because I have made a new family with the chick we are talking about." I was staring into his eyes in anger, but I still don't understand why he decided to lie, but then speak the truth. What's going on? I ran to my room in disappointment. Why is this happening to me?
My first crush?
I walked into my room and then I felt something on my arm. I took a look and I saw nothing there. I was getting a tingly feeling like pins and needles on my arm. I just didn't think of it and went to bed for school tomorrow. The next day, I woke up and my dad was in the living room packing his stuff. My mom is sitting in the kitchen watching him pack. "Good Morning, Honey," said my mom. I can't believe her. I can't believe both of them. I said, "Don't talk to me, mother. I'm still angry at you." My dad was looking at me and froze. He then snapped out of it and left the house again. I followed him because I was interested. "Hey, my queen. I don't want to move in with you. I have a daughter of my own and I didn't know that you had a kid. Nothing replaces my daughter. I'm sorry." The lady took out a gun and pointed it at him. "You will not leave me over your daughter. Listen to me very clearly. You are going to move in with me and leave that daughter of yours and tell her she is mistaken, you hear me, " said the lady. I took a picture and ran to her. "What the h#ll? You decide to threaten my dad to leave me and mom? What is wrong with you? I tried so hard and so much for you to feel welcome. After dad lied to me saying that you are my aunt. I was giving you a gift because I wanted to meet you. Here is the gift I gave you anyways?" She unwrapped the gift and she saw a beautiful golden diamond. She had tears in her eyes and I can tell she was feeling super guilty. "Oh my stars, I am so sorry. I never got a gift after 20 years. I have been feeling super lonely and when I met your dad I never felt happy before. I am so sorry? You can live with them. I'm better off alone anyways." My dad was happy and ran to my mom. Hugged her from behind and gave her a whole lecture about how much he loves her. My mom was finally happy and ripped out the divorce papers and told me, "Leave to school hunny. Before your dad gives you a lecture as well." I left to school and I saw Ares waiting for me by the school doors. I went to him.

I went back to class and I couldn't stop thinking about him. Wait? I have a crush on him!?
My powers
The teacher was talking about powers and the gods/goddesses. I was staying off task passing notes to Ares. The teacher called on me. "Luna. Would you like to tell me what was Aphrodite's crystal and who was she with that made the crystal? I said, "Sure. Aphrodite's crystal is Rose quartz. Made of Love and Passion. Her one true love was Ares, the god of war and the mortal Anchises." The teacher with amazement said, "Wow, we haven't made it to that topic yet. Congratulations Luna. You just got an A+" I looked at Ares and I think it would be fair if I gave him some credit as well. I said, "It wasn't all me, y'know. Ares taught me and I think he also deserves an A+" The teacher decided to give both of us an A+ It was break time and Ares said to me, "Wow, thanks for giving me an A+ that was amazing! You are so smart. I like you." I was so happy and I said, "It wasn't a big deal. You do deserve that grade after accepting to be my friend."A couple of girls were talking about me. They said, "Do you guys think that Luna and Ares make a cute couple?" "Omg, yes. Cutest ship ever. We have to make it sail." I fainted out of nowhere. And woke up with Ares holding my hand worried. He told me, "What is wrong with you? You had me all worried. What happened?" I was so confused and a bit more concerned. Why did I faint? Who gave me a purple eye? Who did all this? Although, Ares told me, "You just fainted out of nowhere, everybody was trying to wake you up. They were trying to help you wake up, but you wouldn't?I never seen a faint this badly." What does he mean by that? I didn't want to tell him the truth, but honesty is the best policy. So I told him, "I- m-my parents were having a divorce, but my dad snapped out of it and decided to keep up with the relationship. I also have a crush and I'm just afraid to confess to him, I don't know why I fainted. I was feeling faint since the morning." The worried look on his face made me feel warm inside because it tells me that he and his other friends cared about me, but I wasn't worried about that. The only thing I mostly cared about was him. My whole world is about this amazing boy. I go back home only to find some weird blue glow on my hands. I was floating things with my hands without even thinking about it. I was screaming because I didn't know what it was called. My mom came in and I quickly dropped stuff. "Oh, my stars, what happened? Why did you scream," said my mom while looking at me if I was crazy? I hated my mom. I hate her so much. She doesn't even care about me. She doesn't care about my will. She doesn't care about this or that. She only cares about herself. She only cares about what is right for HER. I said, "No, I-" Before the moment I could speak I stopped myself to think. Honesty is the best policy. Honesty is the best policy. Honesty is the best policy. I said it over and over and told the truth. "I was doing some magic with my hands, but it's alright. I was just terrified of how I did that without thinking about it." My mom was relieved and she said, "Oh, Okay. That's good then." She left and I thought to myself. How did I do that? Did I just float things with my hands? What is happening to me? I went back to school and told Ares. "Hey, what happens if you are floating stuff with your hands?" Ares was confused, but he said, "Uh. Do you mean Telekinesis?" That's what it was called. Telekinesis. I guess I was wrong about it needing practice. Ares said, "Why do you need to know about telekinesis?" I was so nervous, what should I tell him? "I was just wondering because- I'm practicing," I said. Ares was lifting his hand slowly, closed his eyes, and said, "Let's see if I can do telekinesis." I wanted to see so I didn't do anything. Ares picked up a person and made them do a flip.
Ares the god!?
It's the last day before the summer break. Ares said, "Hey, what are you doing this summer break?" I didn't want to decline whatever he was inviting me to so I said, "Nothing, just staying home. Bored. What about you?" He was so excited, "Well, I have this place we can go and it's super fun. That's where I learned my magic." I said, "Yeah. Sure! Seems fun." I went to his house and his parent was Zeus. ZEUS? THE GOD OF LIGHTNING OR SOMETHING? I said, "Your dad is Zeus!?" He was scared so he said, "No, his name is Zeus, but he is like a lookalike of him. Don't worry!" I knew he was lying, but he didn't tell the truth. He told his dad he was going to take us to the "magic" camp. He actually took me to Paris. Ares grabbed my hand and took me to his mom's place. He went to his room and started doing all these different kinds of magic. I went to his room and pictures of himself as Ares and him doing magic. "I- uh- What are you doing in my room," said Ares. "Well, I was bored. You are good in the outfit as Ares," I said. "It's not a costume. It's real. I am Ares the god of war,'' said Ares. I laughed because I didn't believe it. He was serious. I told him, "You're serious?" He transformed into Ares. And he was so - cool. I said, "Woah! You are so- so- uh. You know." I looked at him and he said, "Hot? Haha! Get it. Because I'm the god of war and war has fire and stuff. No? Okay. Thank you though." I covered my face. He could see me blushing so hard. "Are you blushing," said Ares. I said, "What? No! Why would I blush? That's disgusting." He laughed and transformed back into his regular form. He told me that I was the only person who knew he was Ares the REAL god of war. He told me something very unforgettable, "When you first came into the school, I knew you were a goddess. My job was to find you and take you to the place to figure out what type of goddess you are." I couldn't believe he kept the secret from me. He packed his stuff and I went back to my place to pack as well. In the middle of the night I wrote a runaway note for me to leave. That night I left with Ares to go find out what type of goddess I was.
The Camp
I arrived at the camp to find out who I was and then an old man saw me and said, "Ah, Urena. Welcome to Mystery Camp!" I was so confused. Lots of kids my age were here figuring out who they were. I told them, "What is this camp about?" He came up to me, grabbed my hand, and told me, "You might be named 'Luna' well? This camp is about young kids who have what we have. Powers, different species, and transformations like young Ares here. He took you to me because he could sense that you were a goddess." I was so confused, but I had to be honest and truthful. Ares took me to the transformation room. He told me, "Stay calm. Breathe. Make sure you believe that you are a goddess, then jump and maybe you'll transform." I tried, over and over and over. Ares said, "I- no. It can't be possible. I know for a fact that you are a goddess." The old man told me, "You need to focus on your breathing, Ares I thought you knew this stuff more than me. Tsk Tsk Tsk." Ares felt disappointed in himself. He said, "I apologize sir, but that's how I learned to transform." The old man looked at me then at Ares. He said, "You two are really something. Urena. Breathe and feel like you are in the ocean. Make it look like you are more important than anyone else and then transform." I took a huge breath and I didn't transform. Instead, it made me feel nothing. The old man said, "Huh, maybe you just aren't a goddess, maybe Ares had a mistake about smelling goddesses." Ares looked so disappointed and I felt guilty. I cried myself to sleep and the next day I heard Ares saying, "Oh my god! Look! You are the goddess of Honesty!" During the camp, I woke up and I've always wanted to find out who my parents actually are. Ares said, "What if we sneak out of the camp and find our parents? What if we do it together?"
Escaping the camp
We packed up our things and we were waiting until everyone was asleep. Ares said, "The only goddess who doesn't sleep is Hypnos or NYX, they stay up all night to look out, So we need to watch out." We waited, and waited, and waited until everyone was asleep. Once, everyone was asleep and we were sneaking our way out of the camp. "Hey! Who is there? Put your hands up whoever you are!" Ares looked at me and I said, "Oh my god! Hypnos is going to catch us! There is no time for us to get out of this hell hole." Ares looked at me and covered my mouth, "Maybe if you pipe down we can find another way to escape. Come on." The thing I don't like about Ares is that he thinks he is the leader trying to lure me into some kind of pyramid scheme. I noticed he was thinking so hard so I didn't even dare to interrupt him. Hypnos saw us and he said, "Well if it isn't Urena! Heh, y'know there is secrets you should know about young Ares here. I know who your parents are. I know them and I don't think you wanna know how I know." Ares yelled at Hypnos, "DUDE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU DON'T KNOW WHO MY PARENTS ARE BECAUSE YOU K! LLED MY BROTHER AND PUSHED HIM INTO THE STINKING OCEAN." Hypnos looked at me and said, "Man. You guys are super cheesy together. I won't rat you out IF you don't snitch on me." Ares looked at me and I was so confused. So, he said, "Deal. Now let us leave." Hypnos bowed and left. I told Ares, "You aren't gonna snitch on him?" Ares laughed and took out his phone, "I never crossed my heart. I'm going to text my friend to call the general about Hypnos's plan." Ares took me to a hotel and asked for a room with a single bed. We walked into the hotel room and it was so beautiful. There was so much food and the fun part was that since we were in our human forms. We got free stuff. It was night and he was getting ready to sleep. "Aren't you going to bed," said Ares. I blushed and I said, "Uh- I- uhm- I don't know how you would feel if I was in bed? next to you." He said so confidently, "Happy? Now sleep next to me. I mean, everyone is saying how cute we look together. So, why not start a relationship, right?" I looked at him and nodded. I went in bed with him and I fell asleep.
The BAD mistake
I woke up and looked to my side to see that Ares isn't by my side. I get up and start dressing up. Ares walked into the room and I looked at him, Ares looked so worried and sad. I didn't want to worry about it, so I got up and left for the restroom. I didn't know what to do because he was out there sad and disappointed. He knocked and said, "Hey, can you open the door? I need to go really bad." I opened the door and left. I ate breakfast and took out my computer. I started my research about where my parents could be. Ares looked at me and sighed as he didn't exactly know what to do? "Urena. We need to go. Now." I was so confused. Why was Ares in a rush? I ignored it and nodded. Ares grabbed my wrist and walked away. I looked at him, "W-where are we going?!" He looked back at me and held me by the waist as he then out of nowhere grew wings, "Hold tight." A while later, we arrived at the beach that nobody went to, where we saw another? unique person. Ares took out his sword and pointed it at the girl, "Who are you?!" The girl was a lady, she turned back and stared, "Put it down." Ares grunted and snarked, "Tell me who you are. Then, I'll tell you." The lady smirked and used her telekinesis to lift it up and throw it, "I'm Felicity Afton. Who are you? kids?" I looked at the lady as she called us kids. In fact, we aren't kids.. Ares chuckled and looked at her as he put his sword away, "I'm not a kid, I'm Ares, that's Urena. We're also looking for the horn." Felicity smirks and takes out the horn, Ares' eyes widened as he took out his sword, this made me confused. What's the horn? What do they use it for? Is this why Ares was in a rush? Felicity swung it around as she smirked and she said, "You mean this ol' thing?" I looked at Ares as his eyes widened. What was so special about a horn? I was confused. He clenched his fists and tried thinking of a plan B. He said, "Give me the horn, Felicity." Felicity smirked and backed away as she chuckled, "You see, Ares? I am what you pathetic humans call a villain. You call me the bad guy! I have been a mistake to my parents! I will end you and your family! The underworld will hear about this." Felicity blows the horn and uses her summoning powers to teleport out of nowhere! Woosh! She disappeared. Ares muttered a lot as he froze, "This is bad? Oh god? This is bad? This is real bad?"
I looked at him and then the sky had turned red. The moon was dark blood red and the floor and streets were cracking, the sand turning into quick sand and swallowing in. Ares grabbed my waist again and went up to the sky. I panicked, so I yelled, "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" I could tell that Ares was panicking also. He didn't know what to do or what happened. I could feel his heart beating faster by the minute. He held me tight and said calmly, "Felicity blew the horn that was made to let out all the monsters. Especially the ones we demolished. In order to save this town we have to go to the underworld and ask Hades to end it." I nodded. That's it! We visit Hades and end this once and for all.
First and last time seeing the
underworld
Ares still has me held tight as we fly around, we end up seeing how all the monsters are killing so many innocent people. Elders, Parents, Children, pets, and even babies. It felt like the end of the world. He sighed and flew faster, he looked at the camp and said, "We have to go back." My eyes widened as I looked up at him as he still held me tight, "What?! Why?! We escaped 4 months ago and now we're going bacK?! What about the monsters? What about finding our paren-" The first time he snapped at me. He looked at me and yelled, "Enough with our parents! We have bigger things to worry about! Stop being the selfish brat you are and WAKE UP! We have to go back and get more weapons to go to the underworld!" I stayed silent and I nodded. He then flew back to the camp.
Back at the camp
Ares stopped and hid his wings, he ran and bumped into Chiron. Chiron looked at us and yelled in rage, "WHERE ON EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN?! WE HAD PERCY, ANNABETH, AND GROVER LOOK FOR THE BOTH OF YOU! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" Chiron walked to the meeting room and everyone was there. Chiron tied a rope around our arms and then chained our legs. I was confused and Ares looked terrified. Chiron got the microphone and said, "Students! We all know what had happened in the last 4 months, correct?" All the students speak in unison, agreeing. Chiron grabbed a ruler and smacked the desk. Chiron said, "They came back! After we sent 3 students out to find 'em. How idiots we became! We sent 3 important students out on a DANGEROUS hike. So, they MUST suffer the consequences, maybe someday the both of you will learn to NOT escape this camp. Do you know what we do to escapers, like you?" Chiron raised the ruler and began smacking the ruler on Ares' hand. Ares flinched every hit. When I looked at Ares' hand he had blood and scars, he then looked at me and raised the ruler, I panicked and then I did a word-vomit, "W-wait wait wait! WE FOUND THE HORN! FELICITY TOOK THE HORN AND BLEW IT! WE NEED WEAPONS TO GO END IT DOWN AT THE UNDERWORLD! PLEASE!"
Chiron stopped and looked at me, he then sighed, "You found the horn?" I nodded and he began untying us. Ares trembled in fear and pain, I hugged him tightly and I cried. Chiron grunted, "Fine. I will let it slide. Go get weapons and save the world." Chiron then left and so did the other kids. I grabbed the first-aid kit and wrapped a bandage around his hands. We went to the weapons room and grabbed as many weapons as possible.
A few hours later?
We grabbed a lot of things and we ran out of the camp. He grabbed my waist and then flew again. We flew very far and then he dropped me, I screamed in fear and then he went down with me. I thought I was about to die, but we entered the underworld. All the monsters were roaming around and we saw a huge castle. A browser-looking castle. We entered and a bunch of slaves were working, we entered in and a bunch of guards ran towards us and attacked us.
Ares took out his sword and weapons and began fighting, so did I. A while later, we killed all the guards and walked in the lobby, where Hades was most likely at with his huge throne and slaves bowing. Hades smirks and says, "Ares! My nephew! What'd you need?" My eyes widened. Hades was Ares' uncle? Ares hugged Hades and let go, "So, Uncle. Felicity blew the horn. We need you to bring back the monsters." Hades' eyes widened and smiled, "That's my girl!" He froze. He looked at me and back at Hades, "What..? You PLANNED the whole thing out?" Hades stood up and smiled, "This was my plan dear nephew. Now I can finally rule the world!" Hades then blew up the roof and every single monster got out, Ares and me had no choice but to defeat Hades. Hades grabbed a weapon and stabbed Ares. My eyes widened and I yelled, "NO! ARES!" I ran towards Ares and caught him before he fell. I hugged him and cried, Ares smiled and coughed, "I knew it? Save the world for me, Urena? I love you?" I cried more and he kissed my lips, I kissed him back and we shared a kiss more. I pulled away and I smiled, tears still rolling down my cheeks, "I love you too, Ares.." Then, he died. I then clenched my fists and Hades laughed at me. I got up and I used my powers. I turned into a titan-like giant and killed Hades. Then, I defeated all the monsters.
"That's so cool, mommy! So, papa died a hero?" I smiled and looked at my daughter, "Yup. Your papa is looking down at us." My daughter stood up and held a toy sword, "One day, me and my new-coming baby brother will be a hero! Just like papa!" I chuckled and kissed my daughter's head, "Right. Go to bed, honey." My daughter jumped down on her bed and I tucked her in tight, "Goodnight mama? goodnight papa?"

Hi, my name is Urena, I am the Goddess of Honesty. I am 16 years old and I live with my mom and my dad. To be honest, I never knew I was a goddess. Suppose you're in your god/goddess stage then. You're in the right place because this story is basically about how I became a goddess. I can easily use my honesty powers on anybody, but I haven't learned how. Do you think I will be able to make it out alive? My REAL mom and dad sent me to Tokyo, Japan to have a FAKE mom and dad. Now, I'm trying to find out where my parents are and who they are. Help me travel through this time. My FAKE mom and dad call me Luna. I suppose it is cool, but how do people in Japan say it? "??" It is so cool! I know some Japanese, but I CAN NOT speak Chinese. I can speak a little Chinese, but my parents say they won't allow me to learn the language.

Cheating
It was my first day of school and my parents homeschooled me. I never went to the original school where child prodigies are. (Child Prodigy; smart kids). Usually, I stay home and read some books. My mom called me, "Luna! Time for school!" I came downstairs and said, "Okay, be right there!" My dad was on a call, but I didn't understand what he was saying. He speaks Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese. He was speaking Spanish. He said, "Listen, I can't come to work today. I know I'm sorry I just have trouble at home and it's really urgent." I was so suspicious. He always goes to work, but why not today? Is it mom's birthday? Is it a fun event? What was I missing? I overheard my dad talking to my mom, "I have to go to work. I won't be back until midnight. So, dont wait for me. Okay? Bye." I told my mom I was going to go to school, but since there was no school today and I go in Tuesday I followed my dad. He was at some girl's house. She was short, pretty, 5'3, with brunette short hair, and she was wearing a dress. My dad smooched her cheek and said something that made me so angry. He said to the lady, "Hey, my queen." It was cheesy, but really? Cheating on mom? I took a picture and ran back to the house. I told my mom that I forgot that there was no school until Tuesday. And I waited all day for my dad to come back. I waited until midnight. He came back with red smooched lips on his cheeks. And turned on the lights. "Jesus! Why are you up this late? Huh? Who are you waiting for, you crazy?" I laughed fo0r a bit and I said, "I wasn't waiting for anyone, except you. Where were you today?" I saw the fear in his eyes and something weird happened. I looked him dead in the eyes and he told me the truth. My dad said, "I was at work- I was at my side chick's house, I am cheating on your mom. Sorry." I was surprised. But wait? How did I do that? He was about to lie, but he spoke the truth when I looked him dead in the eye. Did I do something? He was surprised as well. "Why did I say that? What the h#ll happened," said my dad. I said, "I don't know." I noticed my mom staring at my dad as she was in the kitchen drinking milk and overhearing the conversation. My dad said, "Please don't tell your mother? I am really sorry, but I had no choice." My mom walked out of the kitchen with tears running down her cheek. "I think I heard enough." My dad was so scared, but he started an argument. I ran into my room and covered my ears as they started to scream, "It's all your fault!" "NO! YOU MADE ME DO THIS BECAUSE I LOST MY JOB AND SHE HAS LOTS OF MONEY FOR ME TO GIVE! IT'S ACTUALLY YOUR FAULT." and more arguing. I never cried in my life because I'm not that emotional, but arguing because of me? That just hit the spot. Now I wonder. What if something bad happens?
The Divorce
It has been 2 weeks since the argument and they never talked. My dad walks into the room where me and my mom are having breakfast. My mom and I were talking about girls' night and what we should do. All of a sudden the room goes deeply silent. It was more silent than a mouse. My dad walks in and says, "Okay, I'm leaving Luna. Behave and I'll be right back. Are you okay being home alone?"
He just gave her the silent treatment. That must've hit hard. I can't believe that they are ignoring each other. I ignored them and went to school because I had transferred. "Hello, you must be Luna. Correct?" "Yes, I am." "Ah, well I mustn't be disrespectful. Let me introduce myself. I am Mr. Cheng. I am the principal of this fabulous school." "Uhm, Okay. Can I get my schedule?" "Oh, yes of course. Your homeroom is Schoolroom A1." I walked down the hall to find my schoolroom. I was lost, but a young man who seemed familiar to me said, "You're the new kid, right? I'm Ares like the god of war. Where you off?" His name was Ares. Like- the god of war? Wow. I'm impressed. I wonder who his father is. I HAVE to know. I was surprised so I said, "Yeah, I am. I'm Luna and I need to go to Schoolroom A1, but I'm lost. Can you help me and give me a tour? And can we also be friends?" He was so polite. I never met a man who's named Ares that's nice. That's crazy. He said, "Sure, I'll give you a tour I'm actually going there right now and we could be friends. Come on we got to go or we'll be late to homeroom." We both walked to the homeroom and everybody stared at me whispering stuff about me. "Guys, meet the new kid. Luna. She is a cool kid. Don't worry." I was having a fun time in school, but I went back home and I see both of my parents in tears. I went to see what was going on and I saw papers? Papers for a divorce. My mom noticed and said, "Luna- I-" I was so mad and I interrupted her before she spoke, "WHAT IS THERE THAT YOU HAVE TO SAY? THE PAPERS SAY IT ALL. I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU GUYS WOULD HAVE A DIVORCE BECAUSE OF ONE CHICK. DAD, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE FACT THAT YOU DID SOMETHING UNBELIEVABLE AND SO DUMB, WHY CAN'T YOU FIX YOUR PROBLEMS?" My mom looks at my dad and says, "Tell her. Right now." My dad was scared, but he didn't care. He lied to me. He said, "I'm leaving her because she isn't pretty- I am leaving her because I have made a new family with the chick we are talking about." I was staring into his eyes in anger, but I still don't understand why he decided to lie, but then speak the truth. What's going on? I ran to my room in disappointment. Why is this happening to me?
My first crush?
I walked into my room and then I felt something on my arm. I took a look and I saw nothing there. I was getting a tingly feeling like pins and needles on my arm. I just didn't think of it and went to bed for school tomorrow. The next day, I woke up and my dad was in the living room packing his stuff. My mom is sitting in the kitchen watching him pack. "Good Morning, Honey," said my mom. I can't believe her. I can't believe both of them. I said, "Don't talk to me, mother. I'm still angry at you." My dad was looking at me and froze. He then snapped out of it and left the house again. I followed him because I was interested. "Hey, my queen. I don't want to move in with you. I have a daughter of my own and I didn't know that you had a kid. Nothing replaces my daughter. I'm sorry." The lady took out a gun and pointed it at him. "You will not leave me over your daughter. Listen to me very clearly. You are going to move in with me and leave that daughter of yours and tell her she is mistaken, you hear me, " said the lady. I took a picture and ran to her. "What the h#ll? You decide to threaten my dad to leave me and mom? What is wrong with you? I tried so hard and so much for you to feel welcome. After dad lied to me saying that you are my aunt. I was giving you a gift because I wanted to meet you. Here is the gift I gave you anyways?" She unwrapped the gift and she saw a beautiful golden diamond. She had tears in her eyes and I can tell she was feeling super guilty. "Oh my stars, I am so sorry. I never got a gift after 20 years. I have been feeling super lonely and when I met your dad I never felt happy before. I am so sorry? You can live with them. I'm better off alone anyways." My dad was happy and ran to my mom. Hugged her from behind and gave her a whole lecture about how much he loves her. My mom was finally happy and ripped out the divorce papers and told me, "Leave to school hunny. Before your dad gives you a lecture as well." I left to school and I saw Ares waiting for me by the school doors. I went to him.

I went back to class and I couldn't stop thinking about him. Wait? I have a crush on him!?
My powers
The teacher was talking about powers and the gods/goddesses. I was staying off task passing notes to Ares. The teacher called on me. "Luna. Would you like to tell me what was Aphrodite's crystal and who was she with that made the crystal? I said, "Sure. Aphrodite's crystal is Rose quartz. Made of Love and Passion. Her one true love was Ares, the god of war and the mortal Anchises." The teacher with amazement said, "Wow, we haven't made it to that topic yet. Congratulations Luna. You just got an A+" I looked at Ares and I think it would be fair if I gave him some credit as well. I said, "It wasn't all me, y'know. Ares taught me and I think he also deserves an A+" The teacher decided to give both of us an A+ It was break time and Ares said to me, "Wow, thanks for giving me an A+ that was amazing! You are so smart. I like you." I was so happy and I said, "It wasn't a big deal. You do deserve that grade after accepting to be my friend."A couple of girls were talking about me. They said, "Do you guys think that Luna and Ares make a cute couple?" "Omg, yes. Cutest ship ever. We have to make it sail." I fainted out of nowhere. And woke up with Ares holding my hand worried. He told me, "What is wrong with you? You had me all worried. What happened?" I was so confused and a bit more concerned. Why did I faint? Who gave me a purple eye? Who did all this? Although, Ares told me, "You just fainted out of nowhere, everybody was trying to wake you up. They were trying to help you wake up, but you wouldn't?I never seen a faint this badly." What does he mean by that? I didn't want to tell him the truth, but honesty is the best policy. So I told him, "I- m-my parents were having a divorce, but my dad snapped out of it and decided to keep up with the relationship. I also have a crush and I'm just afraid to confess to him, I don't know why I fainted. I was feeling faint since the morning." The worried look on his face made me feel warm inside because it tells me that he and his other friends cared about me, but I wasn't worried about that. The only thing I mostly cared about was him. My whole world is about this amazing boy. I go back home only to find some weird blue glow on my hands. I was floating things with my hands without even thinking about it. I was screaming because I didn't know what it was called. My mom came in and I quickly dropped stuff. "Oh, my stars, what happened? Why did you scream," said my mom while looking at me if I was crazy? I hated my mom. I hate her so much. She doesn't even care about me. She doesn't care about my will. She doesn't care about this or that. She only cares about herself. She only cares about what is right for HER. I said, "No, I-" Before the moment I could speak I stopped myself to think. Honesty is the best policy. Honesty is the best policy. Honesty is the best policy. I said it over and over and told the truth. "I was doing some magic with my hands, but it's alright. I was just terrified of how I did that without thinking about it." My mom was relieved and she said, "Oh, Okay. That's good then." She left and I thought to myself. How did I do that? Did I just float things with my hands? What is happening to me? I went back to school and told Ares. "Hey, what happens if you are floating stuff with your hands?" Ares was confused, but he said, "Uh. Do you mean Telekinesis?" That's what it was called. Telekinesis. I guess I was wrong about it needing practice. Ares said, "Why do you need to know about telekinesis?" I was so nervous, what should I tell him? "I was just wondering because- I'm practicing," I said. Ares was lifting his hand slowly, closed his eyes, and said, "Let's see if I can do telekinesis." I wanted to see so I didn't do anything. Ares picked up a person and made them do a flip.
Ares the god!?
It's the last day before the summer break. Ares said, "Hey, what are you doing this summer break?" I didn't want to decline whatever he was inviting me to so I said, "Nothing, just staying home. Bored. What about you?" He was so excited, "Well, I have this place we can go and it's super fun. That's where I learned my magic." I said, "Yeah. Sure! Seems fun." I went to his house and his parent was Zeus. ZEUS? THE GOD OF LIGHTNING OR SOMETHING? I said, "Your dad is Zeus!?" He was scared so he said, "No, his name is Zeus, but he is like a lookalike of him. Don't worry!" I knew he was lying, but he didn't tell the truth. He told his dad he was going to take us to the "magic" camp. He actually took me to Paris. Ares grabbed my hand and took me to his mom's place. He went to his room and started doing all these different kinds of magic. I went to his room and pictures of himself as Ares and him doing magic. "I- uh- What are you doing in my room," said Ares. "Well, I was bored. You are good in the outfit as Ares," I said. "It's not a costume. It's real. I am Ares the god of war,'' said Ares. I laughed because I didn't believe it. He was serious. I told him, "You're serious?" He transformed into Ares. And he was so - cool. I said, "Woah! You are so- so- uh. You know." I looked at him and he said, "Hot? Haha! Get it. Because I'm the god of war and war has fire and stuff. No? Okay. Thank you though." I covered my face. He could see me blushing so hard. "Are you blushing," said Ares. I said, "What? No! Why would I blush? That's disgusting." He laughed and transformed back into his regular form. He told me that I was the only person who knew he was Ares the REAL god of war. He told me something very unforgettable, "When you first came into the school, I knew you were a goddess. My job was to find you and take you to the place to figure out what type of goddess you are." I couldn't believe he kept the secret from me. He packed his stuff and I went back to my place to pack as well. In the middle of the night I wrote a runaway note for me to leave. That night I left with Ares to go find out what type of goddess I was.
The Camp
I arrived at the camp to find out who I was and then an old man saw me and said, "Ah, Urena. Welcome to Mystery Camp!" I was so confused. Lots of kids my age were here figuring out who they were. I told them, "What is this camp about?" He came up to me, grabbed my hand, and told me, "You might be named 'Luna' well? This camp is about young kids who have what we have. Powers, different species, and transformations like young Ares here. He took you to me because he could sense that you were a goddess." I was so confused, but I had to be honest and truthful. Ares took me to the transformation room. He told me, "Stay calm. Breathe. Make sure you believe that you are a goddess, then jump and maybe you'll transform." I tried, over and over and over. Ares said, "I- no. It can't be possible. I know for a fact that you are a goddess." The old man told me, "You need to focus on your breathing, Ares I thought you knew this stuff more than me. Tsk Tsk Tsk." Ares felt disappointed in himself. He said, "I apologize sir, but that's how I learned to transform." The old man looked at me then at Ares. He said, "You two are really something. Urena. Breathe and feel like you are in the ocean. Make it look like you are more important than anyone else and then transform." I took a huge breath and I didn't transform. Instead, it made me feel nothing. The old man said, "Huh, maybe you just aren't a goddess, maybe Ares had a mistake about smelling goddesses." Ares looked so disappointed and I felt guilty. I cried myself to sleep and the next day I heard Ares saying, "Oh my god! Look! You are the goddess of Honesty!" During the camp, I woke up and I've always wanted to find out who my parents actually are. Ares said, "What if we sneak out of the camp and find our parents? What if we do it together?"
Escaping the camp
We packed up our things and we were waiting until everyone was asleep. Ares said, "The only goddess who doesn't sleep is Hypnos or NYX, they stay up all night to look out, So we need to watch out." We waited, and waited, and waited until everyone was asleep. Once, everyone was asleep and we were sneaking our way out of the camp. "Hey! Who is there? Put your hands up whoever you are!" Ares looked at me and I said, "Oh my god! Hypnos is going to catch us! There is no time for us to get out of this hell hole." Ares looked at me and covered my mouth, "Maybe if you pipe down we can find another way to escape. Come on." The thing I don't like about Ares is that he thinks he is the leader trying to lure me into some kind of pyramid scheme. I noticed he was thinking so hard so I didn't even dare to interrupt him. Hypnos saw us and he said, "Well if it isn't Urena! Heh, y'know there is secrets you should know about young Ares here. I know who your parents are. I know them and I don't think you wanna know how I know." Ares yelled at Hypnos, "DUDE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU DON'T KNOW WHO MY PARENTS ARE BECAUSE YOU K! LLED MY BROTHER AND PUSHED HIM INTO THE STINKING OCEAN." Hypnos looked at me and said, "Man. You guys are super cheesy together. I won't rat you out IF you don't snitch on me." Ares looked at me and I was so confused. So, he said, "Deal. Now let us leave." Hypnos bowed and left. I told Ares, "You aren't gonna snitch on him?" Ares laughed and took out his phone, "I never crossed my heart. I'm going to text my friend to call the general about Hypnos's plan." Ares took me to a hotel and asked for a room with a single bed. We walked into the hotel room and it was so beautiful. There was so much food and the fun part was that since we were in our human forms. We got free stuff. It was night and he was getting ready to sleep. "Aren't you going to bed," said Ares. I blushed and I said, "Uh- I- uhm- I don't know how you would feel if I was in bed? next to you." He said so confidently, "Happy? Now sleep next to me. I mean, everyone is saying how cute we look together. So, why not start a relationship, right?" I looked at him and nodded. I went in bed with him and I fell asleep.
The BAD mistake
I woke up and looked to my side to see that Ares isn't by my side. I get up and start dressing up. Ares walked into the room and I looked at him, Ares looked so worried and sad. I didn't want to worry about it, so I got up and left for the restroom. I didn't know what to do because he was out there sad and disappointed. He knocked and said, "Hey, can you open the door? I need to go really bad." I opened the door and left. I ate breakfast and took out my computer. I started my research about where my parents could be. Ares looked at me and sighed as he didn't exactly know what to do? "Urena. We need to go. Now." I was so confused. Why was Ares in a rush? I ignored it and nodded. Ares grabbed my wrist and walked away. I looked at him, "W-where are we going?!" He looked back at me and held me by the waist as he then out of nowhere grew wings, "Hold tight." A while later, we arrived at the beach that nobody went to, where we saw another? unique person. Ares took out his sword and pointed it at the girl, "Who are you?!" The girl was a lady, she turned back and stared, "Put it down." Ares grunted and snarked, "Tell me who you are. Then, I'll tell you." The lady smirked and used her telekinesis to lift it up and throw it, "I'm Felicity Afton. Who are you? kids?" I looked at the lady as she called us kids. In fact, we aren't kids.. Ares chuckled and looked at her as he put his sword away, "I'm not a kid, I'm Ares, that's Urena. We're also looking for the horn." Felicity smirks and takes out the horn, Ares' eyes widened as he took out his sword, this made me confused. What's the horn? What do they use it for? Is this why Ares was in a rush? Felicity swung it around as she smirked and she said, "You mean this ol' thing?" I looked at Ares as his eyes widened. What was so special about a horn? I was confused. He clenched his fists and tried thinking of a plan B. He said, "Give me the horn, Felicity." Felicity smirked and backed away as she chuckled, "You see, Ares? I am what you pathetic humans call a villain. You call me the bad guy! I have been a mistake to my parents! I will end you and your family! The underworld will hear about this." Felicity blows the horn and uses her summoning powers to teleport out of nowhere! Woosh! She disappeared. Ares muttered a lot as he froze, "This is bad? Oh god? This is bad? This is real bad?"
I looked at him and then the sky had turned red. The moon was dark blood red and the floor and streets were cracking, the sand turning into quick sand and swallowing in. Ares grabbed my waist again and went up to the sky. I panicked, so I yelled, "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" I could tell that Ares was panicking also. He didn't know what to do or what happened. I could feel his heart beating faster by the minute. He held me tight and said calmly, "Felicity blew the horn that was made to let out all the monsters. Especially the ones we demolished. In order to save this town we have to go to the underworld and ask Hades to end it." I nodded. That's it! We visit Hades and end this once and for all.
First and last time seeing the
underworld
Ares still has me held tight as we fly around, we end up seeing how all the monsters are killing so many innocent people. Elders, Parents, Children, pets, and even babies. It felt like the end of the world. He sighed and flew faster, he looked at the camp and said, "We have to go back." My eyes widened as I looked up at him as he still held me tight, "What?! Why?! We escaped 4 months ago and now we're going bacK?! What about the monsters? What about finding our paren-" The first time he snapped at me. He looked at me and yelled, "Enough with our parents! We have bigger things to worry about! Stop being the selfish brat you are and WAKE UP! We have to go back and get more weapons to go to the underworld!" I stayed silent and I nodded. He then flew back to the camp.
Back at the camp
Ares stopped and hid his wings, he ran and bumped into Chiron. Chiron looked at us and yelled in rage, "WHERE ON EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN?! WE HAD PERCY, ANNABETH, AND GROVER LOOK FOR THE BOTH OF YOU! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" Chiron walked to the meeting room and everyone was there. Chiron tied a rope around our arms and then chained our legs. I was confused and Ares looked terrified. Chiron got the microphone and said, "Students! We all know what had happened in the last 4 months, correct?" All the students speak in unison, agreeing. Chiron grabbed a ruler and smacked the desk. Chiron said, "They came back! After we sent 3 students out to find 'em. How idiots we became! We sent 3 important students out on a DANGEROUS hike. So, they MUST suffer the consequences, maybe someday the both of you will learn to NOT escape this camp. Do you know what we do to escapers, like you?" Chiron raised the ruler and began smacking the ruler on Ares' hand. Ares flinched every hit. When I looked at Ares' hand he had blood and scars, he then looked at me and raised the ruler, I panicked and then I did a word-vomit, "W-wait wait wait! WE FOUND THE HORN! FELICITY TOOK THE HORN AND BLEW IT! WE NEED WEAPONS TO GO END IT DOWN AT THE UNDERWORLD! PLEASE!"
Chiron stopped and looked at me, he then sighed, "You found the horn?" I nodded and he began untying us. Ares trembled in fear and pain, I hugged him tightly and I cried. Chiron grunted, "Fine. I will let it slide. Go get weapons and save the world." Chiron then left and so did the other kids. I grabbed the first-aid kit and wrapped a bandage around his hands. We went to the weapons room and grabbed as many weapons as possible.
A few hours later?
We grabbed a lot of things and we ran out of the camp. He grabbed my waist and then flew again. We flew very far and then he dropped me, I screamed in fear and then he went down with me. I thought I was about to die, but we entered the underworld. All the monsters were roaming around and we saw a huge castle. A browser-looking castle. We entered and a bunch of slaves were working, we entered in and a bunch of guards ran towards us and attacked us.
Ares took out his sword and weapons and began fighting, so did I. A while later, we killed all the guards and walked in the lobby, where Hades was most likely at with his huge throne and slaves bowing. Hades smirks and says, "Ares! My nephew! What'd you need?" My eyes widened. Hades was Ares' uncle? Ares hugged Hades and let go, "So, Uncle. Felicity blew the horn. We need you to bring back the monsters." Hades' eyes widened and smiled, "That's my girl!" He froze. He looked at me and back at Hades, "What..? You PLANNED the whole thing out?" Hades stood up and smiled, "This was my plan dear nephew. Now I can finally rule the world!" Hades then blew up the roof and every single monster got out, Ares and me had no choice but to defeat Hades. Hades grabbed a weapon and stabbed Ares. My eyes widened and I yelled, "NO! ARES!" I ran towards Ares and caught him before he fell. I hugged him and cried, Ares smiled and coughed, "I knew it? Save the world for me, Urena? I love you?" I cried more and he kissed my lips, I kissed him back and we shared a kiss more. I pulled away and I smiled, tears still rolling down my cheeks, "I love you too, Ares.." Then, he died. I then clenched my fists and Hades laughed at me. I got up and I used my powers. I turned into a titan-like giant and killed Hades. Then, I defeated all the monsters.
"That's so cool, mommy! So, papa died a hero?" I smiled and looked at my daughter, "Yup. Your papa is looking down at us." My daughter stood up and held a toy sword, "One day, me and my new-coming baby brother will be a hero! Just like papa!" I chuckled and kissed my daughter's head, "Right. Go to bed, honey." My daughter jumped down on her bed and I tucked her in tight, "Goodnight mama? goodnight papa?"
