He said he loved my eyes and the scent of my hair
The first time we kissed was at the county fair
We grabbed food and drinks and sat down on the bench
He told me we needed to keep our love a secret; that was a gut wrench
He saw some kids from school and wanted to hide
He told me he'll tell them soon but I know he just lied
I walked home without him that night scared and alone
I laid in my bed listening to some Post Malone
I wonder if he ever thinks of me or if this is just a game
I saw him the next day at school and everything was still the same
I sat behind in class and how badly I wanted to tell him I had a great time
But I remembered what he said and that he wasn't mine
School has ended and text came early today
He said come meet me at Daringer's Park and to meet him halfway
I saw him sitting on the park bench, staring into the abyss
He wore a bright green jack that's hard to miss
I walked up to him wondering what he'll say
I wonder if he'll ask me about last night or my day
However, there was no hug and his eyes were cold
I wonder what kind of thoughts were about to unfold
He told me things are moving too fast and he needed to take a break
He promised it wasn't me and this relationship wasn't fake
The park was empty and it was just us
I knew he was lying and it was just lust
As he was talking, I felt my heart beating pounding hard
I remember what the detective said and oh right, his number was on the card
I wonder if I should tell him what happened that night and the body we hid
I was feeling vengeful enough so why not open the lid
Then suddenly, I felt a cold gash on the side of belly
He stabbed me in the stomach, and it turned my legs into jelly
I'm just another statistic to him; a body he can bury
I hope people find out about his past and that he was scary
As my mind starts to falter, I keep thinking about how I became a victim and why it was hard to say no
They will soon find out what they didn't know
