The universe has a cheat code, and sometimes it is hidden in the simplest things—our names, our timing, and the strange connections that appear in our lives.
Take Abena and Kwabena.
In Akan tradition, both names are connected to Tuesday. Abena is traditionally a female name for someone born on Tuesday, while Kwabena is the corresponding male name. Different people, different personalities, different journeys—but somehow, the same day connects them.
And perhaps that is the cheat code.
Life has a mysterious way of placing people in one another's paths. Sometimes we meet someone and immediately feel that there is something familiar about the connection. We may not understand it. We may try to define it as friendship, family, coincidence, or simply circumstance. Yet something about the connection keeps drawing our attention to it.
Maybe the universe does not always explain itself. Sometimes it simply leaves clues.
Abena and Kwabena. Tuesday and Tuesday. Two names, one thread.
It reminds us that people can be connected without being identical. They can come from different experiences and still share something that neither of them consciously chose.
And perhaps that is what makes certain relationships so interesting. We spend so much time trying to understand why someone came into our lives, when the answer may not be meant to be complicated. Maybe their presence is simply part of a larger story that we will only understand much later.
The cheat code is not that everything is predetermined.
The cheat code is learning to recognize the patterns.
Sometimes the universe whispers through names.
Sometimes through timing.
Sometimes through unexpected reconnections.
And sometimes, it simply gives you an Abena and a Kwabena—two people born under the same Tuesday sky, meeting at a time neither could have planned.
Maybe coincidence is just a name we give to patterns we have not yet learned to read.
