Once, a group of friends went hiking. It was a cool November night, and they were staying in an old graveyard as a dare.
“Let’s take a break,” said James, who was carrying the tent. “Just for a few minutes,” Ashley said. “We’re almost there.” When they resumed walking 5 minutes later, the sun was setting. It was dark by the time they got to the burial site. “Darren, you and James set up the tent, me and Ashley will gather firewood,” said Reese. She was using a flashlight on the way when Ashley said, “Bring it over here, I think I found something!” Reese shined the light on the object in his hand. Once she saw it, she screamed and dropped the skull as if it burned her.
They heard something clumsily crash through the trees behind them, and they whipped around to see James stumble through the wood. “Is everything okay?” he panted out, with his hands on his knees. “Yes, Ashley just picked up a skull,” said Reese. “Did you leave Darren on his own?” James’s face paled, and they all sprinted back.
He suddenly stopped running, and Reese ran into him. “What is it?” James just stared. There were scratch marks on the ground and a trail of blood leading towards the forest. There was a scream in the distance. Reese took a step back and tripped over a headstone. “Think I sprained my ankle!”
Ashley stumbled, transfixed, along the path of blood. James tried to hold her back. “What are you doing?!” She wrenched his hand off her shoulder, and she tripped on a stump and impaled herself. She died instantly. None of them have been seen since. To this day, no one who enters ever returns.
