Presented (sometimes) in a richly blended language mix of, nonsense talk, sensational spelling, double entendre, and Jamaican patois inserted here and there throughout, as may be found fitting.
Iris didn't know what was happening. She was taking the bus home, and then the black hole. And when she woke up, she found herself still on that same bus, but carried into another world, a magical, dark world she had to escape from at all costs. Danger is everywhere, but one being saves her, a being who seems even more dangerous than all the others.
What could be a worse story opening than the line "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night"? A line spotted on a T-shirt and the nonsensical rampling it inspires!
