Julie's Underbelly Case Notes: 8- Puzzles
Julie’s voice makes this feel less like a lesson about puzzles and more like an affectionate glimpse into the way her mind works. I especially liked the shift from asking how to pull the metal pieces apart to asking, “How do you think they put it together, Jules?” That question neatly explains her whole approach: look for purpose, structure, and the small thing holding everything in place. The Rubik’s Cube becoming a hopeful image for lives that have been “twisted around” also landed well. I felt both encouraged by Julie’s faith that every puzzle has a path and slightly uneasy at how confidently that idea is extended to life—some problems do not leave a clean route back. That tension gave the piece more feeling than a simple puzzle guide would have had. And I vote for Toodles; it suits her playful warmth.

Julie's Underbelly Case Notes: 7- Our Powers
This is a really charming character-and-powers showcase. Julie’s voice is consistently funny and affectionate, and the little jokes about Karl’s fedora, the Bat-Phone, cookies, and the stolen canoe give the long explanations a lot of personality. I especially liked that the powers come with drawbacks and moral limits—Karl’s perfect memory and ability to see through objects sound amazing, but they also make privacy and forgetting impossible. The shared abilities are the sweetest part, particularly Balance and the idea that simply holding hands can help them recover their strength. The main drawback is that this feels more like an enthusiastic lore pamphlet than a story with a central scene or conflict, and it becomes quite repetitive in places. Still, Julie and Karl’s bond is warm and easy to root for, and her playful narration kept me reading.

Julie's Underbelly Case Notes: 4- Paths !
As much as I love your stories, I wish you broke this story into several short paragraphs because it's too lengthy to understand what's going on
