Once upon a time, in a small, cozy home, a baby girl was born - a bundle of joy, just like any other child. Her arrival brought light and laughter to her family. Little did they know, the future held more than just ordinary moments, though they could never have imagined how the world would shape her.
She started growing, like every child does, full of innocence and wonder, wrapped in the simplicity of baby talks and joyful tantrums. As the years went by, she crossed every milestone: her first smile, first word, first steps. But as the time flew, she often found herself thinking, "I wish the zero year never ended." It was a time of pure happiness, where nothing seemed too complicated. No worries. No fears. Just the warmth of family and the excitement of the unknown.
Unlike the angelic beauty that people often talk about, she wasn't the one to turn heads with her mere presence. She was just an ordinary toddler, her appearance and demeanor mirroring her parents, a reflection of their love and simplicity. But as her childhood continued, one unforgettable moment came - her first day of school. It was the beginning of her journey into the real world, a world far beyond the warmth of her home.
She walked into the classroom with a mix of excitement and fear. The room was full of strangers, faces she'd never seen before. Her heart raced as she thought, “What if I never see my parents again? The tears came quietly, her tiny body trembling with the uncertainty of it all. It was a fear every child knew, yet never fully understood - the fear of separation from the familiar, the comfort of home. Her mind wandered with questions, “What if they don't come back for me?” But those were the thoughts that every child keeps to themselves, even as they hold tightly to the hope that, somehow, they will be okay.
But time is a great healer, and as the days passed, she began to forget the fears. School became part of her daily routine, and slowly, she learned the ropes of this new "normal" life. Bubbly, talkative, and friendly, she blossomed into a girl full of energy and curiosity, though she was never the top student in her class. Yet, her heart was pure, always willing to help others, even if it sometimes led to trouble. She wanted to make the world better, one little act of kindness at a time.
However, there was a side to her childhood that many didn't understand -her overprotective parents. They loved her dearly, but their love came with restrictions. While other children played freely, she often found herself gazing longingly at the others through a locked gate. She wasn't punished or neglected. No, it was simply the love of a mother who, in her desire to protect her child, kept her close, sometimes too close. It wasn’t easy, and at times, it felt like a prison of love. But deep down, the girl knew it was only because her mother wanted the best for her, even if that meant keeping her safe from the world's dangers.
As she grew, so did her understanding of her world. With every step, every challenge, every joy and sorrow, she started to form the person she would become -a girl with a heart full of dreams, a soul that felt the weight of both love and limitation. And yet, as she looked back on her life, she couldn’t help but wish, sometimes, that the zero year never ended -for it was a time of innocent bliss, untouched by the complexities of the world.
But life, as always, moved forward. And as she stepped into the future, she carried with her the lessons of the past -the warmth of family, the lessons of fear, the courage to face the world, and the love that would always, in some form, guide her way.
To be continued …
