The girl asked an old man politely.

They had met at this place 45 years ago, when he was in his early twenties, while she was 6 years old and she brought him grapes juice back then.

He just started his career and somehow underwent the worst period in his life.

He believed he was at rock bottom after reaching the peak of his career.

This open ended question could be answered in one way or another.

Some would answer based on the taste at the end of your throat, the texture dimension as it contact the tongue.

Some would mention an abstract approach, which expresses as joy celebration, success, milestone accomplishment, etc.

Some would argue that it tasteless, imbalanced aftertaste and that is what he replied back then.

45 years later, he look in her eyes and simply reply, "Everything my dear, if you didn't ask me that night, I wouldn't had a chance to return the flavor oday."

There is a difference circumstance where each response reflects the state of one person at that moment. The truth is no answer always be the same and it will constantly diverge overnight.

She smiles back at him "No worries sir, the drink is on the house, am i right bartender?". The bartender politely nodded his head towards the girl.

Later, She points in the direction of the door at the end of the table, "then I suppose you satisfied with this journey. you should get going, there is something awaiting out there"

Right before he leaves, she gave him a hug and a dime for good luck. As he walks out, she turn to the bartender "I suppose this bill is complete, who's next?"

This piece is deeply moving, showing how a single act of kindness can ripple through time and change a life. The emotional reunion and the metaphor of taste beautifully reflect how our experiences shape our perspective.
