Vanessa's POV:

"Vanessaaa, where are you?" I heard Louise' voice getting closer to my room.

"Is she really here?" I think they are now in front of my door. That is Halie's voice.

Why they are here? Is there something they need from me?

I acted as if I couldn't hear them, I tried to close my eyes and ready to unconscious my mind; not bothered by their voice calling me to get out and yes I successfully went into sleep.

Half of hour passed, I can't hear now their voice. Maybe they got tired too for waiting. That's what I've realized since all of the people I met, ditched me.

I treated them as my friends that anytime I can lean on, but where are they? They treated me as their rival, pushed me away, belittled me and even betrayed me.

Then right now, I am all alone embracing the darkness that never left his presence while I am on the edge of trying to survive even there's no reason to live and yeah until now - I am still hiding from the shadow; afraid to show up and remake my fate because I know it will just tear the last piece of me that I gripped forcefully not to fade.

But I stilled when I hear again their voice. Also, to my door knob that creating a noise, are they trying to open my room?

I instantly jumped off to my bed and was about to lock again my door here inside when it's already too late. It was now open and they slowly revealed their silhouette because my room is too dark, only the small light of the sun that rays from my window are enough to notice that someone entered my room.

"It's too dark, Van." that's the first word that Halie let out from her mouth, a complain.

I'm still out of words, I can't move, I stared blankly to the both of them - why they've gone too far for this?

"Feels nice." Louise uttered after she slided my curtain, I am now seeing light. I immediately ducked myself and started screaming, I might get burn from that light - so blinding.

"What happened to you, Vannessa?" Louise asked me. They also went in front of me while I am now hugging myself like a fetus.

"N-Noooo, I d-don't want to be a-alone." my mouth mumbled some words that I don't know why I said those.

"We are here for you." Halie said, it's just like my body stopped from shaking, my hands aren't now trembling and I can now see the light through that window; a true light that I once scared to face but right now I feels warm with it.

That's all I want to hear, someone who will be there for me from this darkness and will walk with me to the light that I really want to experience from the very start because no one let me spoil it.

"Why are you two doing this for me? A-All of you left, r-right?" Biting my nails while saying those words.

"We never left you Van, you were the one who walked into different path from us." Louise' words put me into realization.

Did I?

"But it was also our fault, we never chased you." I raised my head then looked into their eyes.

'Is it all true?'

'Can I lean on to the two of you?'

'Will you never leave me?'

'Will you stay?'

I'm losing the courage to asked these questions from my head, I just sit still - staring to their eyes intently.

I suddenly cried that made them become worried, it's not that I am afraid again. These tears are now the symbol that I might start again together with them.

They give me hope, I won't disappoint them. I held their hands because they are now crying.

"I never bullied you both." I joked around.

I heard Halie's laugh first before Louise laugh and I mixed inside of my room.

It was now filled with laughters from the three girls that will walk together to the new path that no one will left behind.
