There were four mysterious deaths in a city, each occurring at an interval of four days.
The first victim was a college student who had moved to the city from another place for his studies. He lived alone in a rented room. One day, he ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan. The police investigated, but nothing significant was discovered. Everyone who knew him said he was a good boy, focused only on his studies, and rarely stepped out of his room.
When the police checked his belongings, they found his mobile phone badly damaged. It had no SIM card, and the phone itself was almost completely broken. The device was sent for forensic investigation, but nothing meaningful came out of it. His identity was only confirmed through documents, and his family was informed.
Over time, three more deaths took place in the same manner, each one four days apart. The police came under heavy pressure. After investigating further, they noticed one chilling similarity among all four victims: their phones were always broken, and the SIM cards were missing.
However, in one case, the police managed to recover a SIM card. When they examined it, they found a WhatsApp group saved in the victim’s phone. The group was named “We Are Family” and had around 1,000 members. Shockingly, the group contained the contact numbers of all three previous victims.
What disturbed the police even more was the activity in the group. Members of the group were sharing and laughing at the pictures of the dead victims. Soon, another photo appeared—this time, of the very person whose SIM card had been recovered.
Then, a cartoon-style video was posted in the group. In the video, a cartoon character spoke directly to the police:
> “Hello, police… I have some news for you. Around six more deaths are going to happen next month…”
The group remained active, its name mocking the truth: “We Are Family "..
