“Are you still dreaming? Get up! We have reached The Dream Mountain.”
“Hmm… yes, I’m waking up, wait a bit.”
Dev and Dhairya stood before the mighty mountain, its peak hidden in clouds.
Dev whispered in awe, “This place… it’s beautiful.”
Dhairya smiled, “Yes, truly beautiful. Now we must climb it.”
The climb was harsh—two days of struggle, hunger, and exhaustion. At last, they reached a stone where words were carved:
“Here your dreams come to an end.”
Dev frowned, “Dreams end here? What does that mean?”
Dhairya ignored the words and kept moving.
Suddenly, a faint sound echoed from the cliffs.
Dev grew uneasy, “I don’t like this. Let’s leave.”
Dhairya held his arm, “No, wait. Let’s see who it is.”
They stepped into the dark cavern. The deeper they went, the louder the sound became—until they crossed the darkness and found themselves in a dazzling world.
It was like stepping into another realm—golden lights, grand halls, and people with smiling faces. The crowd welcomed them warmly, offering food and laughter.
Dhairya’s eyes sparkled, “This feels like a dream come true.”
For days, they enjoyed the life of kings. The palace they lived in was not a house—it was far greater than any palace they had ever seen.
But… there was a door.
A door that always remained closed.
One night, curiosity overcame them. Dev and Dhairya pushed it open.
What they saw inside froze their blood—
Thousands of bodies lay scattered, the ground stained red.
Then, a voice echoed—deep, chilling:
“Hello… my friends.”
A man stepped forward.
Dev’s eyes widened. His lips trembled,
“How… how is this possible? The man I saw in my dreams… he is here…?”
