Once, there were a mother and her child, both living together in a small town. That was a middle class family and both parents were not such a qualified professionals. So the mother had only one wish from her child. She wanted him to not to fail at all in his life.
That child was a selfish person. He portrayed as he is
Selfless but he always thinks of his own good and not of his parents.
He once decided to stop studies and pursue a career in Running sport. She was not happy for that decision as for her, education was a diamond. But she compromised and prioritised her son over her wish and so advised him to join at a best coach for training.
But, as the son was very selfish, he did not want to train under a coach and wanted to self prepare himself and as his mother kept on asking him, he scolded his mother in frustration and spoke very bad and rude to her and she was very sad and broken for that behaviour of her son.
As she was kind and loved her son the most, she forgot that and moved on. She let her son to participate in his first race and she was very hopeful that he will succeed.
But, as he was not trained enough, he failed. But his mother, who hated failures from her childhood, again compromised and prioritised her son over her sadness and encouraged her son again to take training from a coach.
But as her son was a selfish person, he again spoke bad with his mother and even though she did not feel bad and trusted her son again when he said that he will succeed without training this time.
But he again failed in his second race and this time his mother was fully broken. She was depressed and
Tried to be normal again but was unable to do so.
This time her son changed. He learnt from his experiences and he, without any training from an expert, succeeded in third race.
But his mother, even though was happy for the moment, was not able to get back to the state at which she was before her son's first race. But eventually she came back to normal and their life was normal again, but her son suffered from guilt for many years during this entire process.
Moral of this story : It is true that you can learn from your failures and failure is the stepping stone to success. But If you are impatient and unable to control your tongue and words, That stone will hit you hard enough to hurt you deeply.
