The silent girl may be or maybe not

There was a girl. She was always quiet.

Every day, I saw her. She came alone, sat on a bench, thought for some time, and then left.

I saw her daily, but I didn't know why I was noticing her.

I didn't even know if she ever looked at me.

One day, I walked near her.

I stood there for some time and asked,

"What is your name?"

She got a little nervous. After thinking for a second, she said her name.

After that, we started talking slowly.

Every day, we talked for 20 to 30 minutes. I liked talking to her.

One day, I asked her,

"Why do you always come alone? Where are your friends?"

She said nothing? and left.

After that, she never came again.

Few days later, I was walking on a road.

It was cloudy. Wind was blowing. It was about to rain.

Then I saw her again - standing under a tree.

I said,

"Hey! You are here! I saw you every day there. Why didn't you come again?"

It felt like a movie moment. Rain started. Air was strong.

We talked a little.

I again asked her,

"Why did you always sit alone? Why no friends with you?"

This time, she answered.

She said:

"Before, I had many friends. One best friend also. But slowly everyone left. My best friend changed school. Other friends stopped talking. I was very attached to them. I loved them a lot."

"When they left, I felt broken. So, I stopped talking to new people. I was scared. I didn't want to feel that pain again. That's why I stopped coming. Going to my cousin's house was just an excuse."

"I didn't understand this - why people come and go. Why they leave. It made me sad."

I listened quietly.

Then I said:

"Friends are not only for you, you are also for your friends.

This is not a sad memory. It is a happy memory.

People will come and go, but we should stay strong and happy."

But inside my heart, I thought -

> "I said these things to her? but maybe I don't understand them myself......
