The story begins in the year 1110 with a 15-year-old, Viktor Inesh. He was loved by most in his hometown. a town filled with gnomes, elves, mermaids, centaurs, werewolves and so much more, a town where all your deepest imaginations are formed.
Except...It was rusty, old and the houses were basically shoe boxes, many things had still not been created at the time. Viktor is currently riding his bicycle through the empty streets when he hears a noise across the street. He peaks into a nearby alleyway, hearing crunching noises but can't see anything.
"Hello?!" he calls out nervously. Suddenly a horde of bats fly out and into the forest, they seem distressed. Viktor decides to follow them. He bikes as fast as possible, dodging through trees and pedalling over branches but he trips over a log on the floor, his bike flies over his head and Viktor falls into a glowing dark lake where all the bats lay.
A large darkness fills Viktor as the now black bats sink their teeth into him, countless of bites fill his skin as he lets out excruciating screams but no one hears him. As their fangs sink into him, he feels the blood get sucked out until his skin looks grey and white, he looks like a living corpse. Then...his vision goes dark.
He wakes up but feels different, he rubs his tongue against his teeth to feel two extra sharp teeth and he keeps having this strange sensation of hunger.
Back home, townsfolk start worrying about the constant attention of those infected bats so they call in a french dwarf named Elion who immediately notices the suspicious behaviour of Viktor so he decides to follow the boy around town.
Viktor notices him and tries to avoid him by hiding behind caps and sunglasses, taking longer routes to school but one day his hunger gets uncontrollable. Viktor gets into a fight with his bully, throwing punches and kicks causing the bully to suffer from a scratch to the cheek and blood drips out. Viktor starts feeling that hunger and need again.
Later that night he decides to feed on his bully, not knowing that Elion is watching, though unfortunately due to being a newbie, Viktor ends up accidentally killing him.
The next day he finds Elion working up a crowd who hold pitchforks and wooden torches. "Viktor Inesh has become one of those horrible bats... he is not human anymore.. as for that we shall kill Viktor, no...his new name will be.. Sungsa" Elion declares, the townsflok try to kill Sungsa but out of rage and need for blood, Viktor blacks out...when he comes back to conciousness...he is standing in a pool of blood.
Everyone in town...murdered.
