Her smile had something special, and her eyes… man, they were so deep, people would just stare and forget to blink. Folks always said good things about her. But still, one question always came up in everyone’s heart:
“Who’s gonna marry her?”
So, they say once there was this young guy. He said to his dad,
“Dad, I saw this girl... and I swear, the moment I looked at her, time just... stopped. Her eyes were like deep oceans, and her face—it was glowing like the moon. I can’t even think about life without her.”
His dad smiled a little and said,
“Well, if your heart really wants her, then let’s go talk to her family. Maybe ask for her hand.”
So both of them went to see the girl. But the second the dad saw her, he just... froze too. Like he got hit by the same magic.
After a few moments, the father said softly,
“Son… to be real with you, I don’t think she’s the one for you. You’re too young, too innocent. A girl like her... she needs someone mature, someone who understands life. Someone like... me.”
The son couldn’t believe what he heard. He looked at his dad, shocked.
“But Dad… you’re my father. You can’t do this to me. She’s my dream, not yours. I wanna marry her. Not you.”
And boom — they started fighting. Father vs son. It got so bad, they went to the police to find some justice.
They told the whole story to the officer. He listened seriously and then said,
“Okay. Bring the girl here. We’ll ask her who she chooses — the father or the son.”
But man… when the officer saw the girl, everything changed. He just stared at her, and his face lit up like a lightbulb.
“She’s not for either of you,” he said.
“She deserves someone strong. Someone like… me.”
Now there were three of them. All fighting over one girl. So they took the matter to a minister, hoping he’d be fair.
The minister looked at her once, then smirked and said,
“This girl? She ain’t for simple men. She’s for someone like me… a minister.”
Now things were totally outta control. So they all went to the ruler of the city.
He sat on his throne, looked at her... and the hunger in his eyes said everything.
“She should be with someone rich. Someone powerful. Like me.”
And all this time, the girl didn’t say a word.
Then finally… she smiled and said,
“Okay, I have an idea. I’ll run. And you all can chase me. Whoever catches me first, he can have me.”
And just like that… the chase began.
The young man, the dad, the police guy, the minister, and the ruler — all running behind her. Each one thinking he’ll be the one to win her.
Some were full of pride. Some full of greed. Some just straight up lust. All of them were sure they’d catch her.
But then… suddenly… the ground split open. And all five of them fell into a huge, dark pit.
The girl walked up to the edge of the pit, looked down at them, and said with a voice that echoed like thunder:
“You know who I really am?
I… am the world.
The same world people run after — chasing beauty, money, power, fame.
They run after me so crazy, they forget who made them.
They forget the afterlife.
They forget what really matters.
And in the end… they all fall in the same place.
The grave.
Where nothing matters anymore.
Not money. Not good looks. Not power.
Only your actions stay with you.”
This isn’t just some random story.
It’s a mirror.
Ask yourself:
What are you running after?
And where’s it really gonna take you…?
