Hello, I'm Brother Steve. From the moment I stepped into college. I had a dream of launching my own business. It stayed on my mind. And guess what? That dream has burst into a vibrant reality.
It’s truly never too late to pursue your dreams. I’m just a simple man. An African American who grew up on the buzzing South Side of Chicago. With a history in retail sales and fast-food management. But now, I stand with immense pride as the founder of Proudly Black Clothing!
Proudly Black is not just a brand; it’s an exhilarating online destination for African American clothing and accessories. We bring to life a stunning array of African American text and graphic designs on t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, jackets, hats, and so much more.
The beauty of our brand is that there’s something for everyone. Men, women, kids, and even babies. I started Proudly Black with a humble offering of 10 graphic designs and 25 items. But let me tell you, the growth has been explosive.
We now boast over 400 + graphic designs and more than 10,000 items. What makes Proudly Black Clothing so special is the empowering words, phrases, and images we have on clothing that celebrate Black culture and promote Black pride.
Here are the names of some of our text designs that truly honor Black culture. We have Black is Beautiful, Black the Prime Element, Black and Proud Peridot, Black & Blessed, and Black No Sugar No Cream. What began as a surge of pride in my Black identity has transformed into a vibrant clothing brand filled with uplifting, positive expressions of being African American.
