Hello everyone, today I am going to tell story of a boy who is not so extra-ordinary, but simple boy with simple dreams and achievements. Before going any further let introduce my self- I am Mr. Hiro and I don’t have any background of literature or neither I have any experience about story writing or any novels.
Chapter 1- First day on this Earth
Year 1995- it was month of September, day when it was not so soaring hot like in June-July.
On this beautiful day- lady who was carrying something special for 9 month was about to get good news. Lady was mother of 2 children already and coming infant was her 3rd. As day passed by and evening approached- she was in pain- her pray was about to be answered. Almost crying and shouting in pain for hours- she was exhausted no energy left on her body, tears rolling down from her eyes as if it was waterfall in deep jungle. With final hope she gave her all and pushed with all the energy left with her. 0530 pm or 1700 hrs was a time when she heard first cry from her newly born- with this cry from tiny human, all pain and exhaustion was gone- she smiled and hugged her son.
Year passed boy is now 12 years old, and studying in class 7. He is not so popular, shy not so good in studies in fact most of the time he spends out of class more than inside class. He is introvert, parents had great hope from him that he will lead them out of this middle class. But boy had different plan. He most use to day dream and friends use to bully him. Teachers used to call him duffer. But after all this comments he never showed in his face- he always smiled and tried to keep everyone around him happy. And there was someone who was different from others- who treated him with different angle. He uses to come school with that person and use to go home with that person only. He used to get jealousy when that person uses to talk with others and had different things going inside his mind that only person who understand will also leave him. Days passed and by now might have got a hint that the person- was girl his only friend who understood him.
It was month of February month of love and compassion. On this day- boy is planning something big. 13th feb 2007- boy after many practices and letter he is going to approach her but not as friend but as something special. With help of her friends- he finally gave his heart and told her everything his feelings how he feels for her. However few days back- some boys were having conversation that their friend is going to purpose her. After hearing this news boy was very furious and he dint though of anything- in fear of losing her he took this step. Coming back to present time- boy has confessed his feeling to her but before him someone had already approached her. She hesitated, she smiled boy was confused he was in fear that he might end of loosing his only friend. Boy ran from there, and hid inside toilet for whole class. Before school was off, he went inside class. Everyone was laughing and shouting our both names. I got nervous- she with pity was looking to me. As soon as bell rung, he ran out of class and did not look back and directly went to his home. He was grief, hurt and embarrassed.
He sat silently at home, crying alone in dark and he did not have any guts to school. he requested his mother that can he transfer school. Mother smiled and said no. He with no option left- tried some local remedies of getting sick. At that time there was some myth that if you place raw piece of onion under arms you will get fever. So, he tried same thing but result as you expected- it was just myth. Anyhow he convinced that he is not feeling well and cannot go to school. Whole day passed- but tomorrow he has to school because he cannot convince his mother again and again.
Next day- he went to school quiet sat down his bench. Everyone was looking at him, but from far away girl with bright smile was looking at him. Again, during break, he ran away but this time she was also running behind him. She held his hand took to galley where no one was there. She asked why dint you came school yesterday and why are you running away from me. Boy mumbled and said nothing he was not feeling well so. She smiled and held his hand- she said “its not important what people says and what they do, all it matters is your feeling, I am glad that you confessed me and told your feelings and I am very touched and who would not want to be with person who understand you and who was there when I was in trouble.” Boy was confused at the same time happy; he said so what about another guy, he is much more handsome and smart than me. She said- I like you more and like you way you are. Suddenly day became bright as breeze of happiness came. He was happy and felt like he is in top of world- she smiled and said hello Mr Boyfriend.
Few days passed by this time everyone came to know about relationship, they were happy but there is saying that ‘’ bad days dose not last for long and some goes to good days”. It was a day when we turned strangers. It was early morning at school, boy was sitting with his friend- suddenly friend asked him have you kissed your girlfriend, he said- smile no. Friend started passing comments that what kind of girlfriend you have its already 4 days and you haven’t kissed her, boy said- its not like that. He kept on teasing him for not been able to kiss her. They say that thing that will lead for anyone downfall its his own ego. Many thoughts and feelings started arousing- boy was in confusion what to do not to do. So just before morning assemble, he did something unforgettable in fact it was something nobody has done in history of school. Girl was sitting on her bench, boy looked at her with pleasant smile and she also smiled back- we can say that calmness on her face those delicate smiles and those embrace as if she was directly coming down from heaven, but all those things was about to get ruined, in fact this silly step which boy was about to take was going to change everything on her life. Coming back boy was slowly walking towards her, all classmate was there and busy on their own world. Finally, boy called her name, she stood, boy slowly pulled her towards him and with bright smile placed his hand on her cheek and kissed her. There was pin drop silence, everyone was shocked, confused. But all of sudden girl pushed him so hard that he trembled on his feet, she started crying and started punching him, girl she was embarrassed, hurt and was emotionally traumatized. Boy was confused and he was like what the hell have I done everyone on class was shouting and boy ran from there, his friend was calling him his name but boy didn’t bother to look back and ran away and hid inside staff toilet. She was crying, she was hurt everyone of her friend was trying to help her not to cry, but how would not she cry. After assembly boy went inside class room. He was looking at her but she with swollen eyes and red nose did not even look at him. Her friend his friend ERwas scolding him what you have done, boy realized his mistake and what he has done.
Day passed, but boy have no guts to go and talk with her. Everyone uses to tease him. All he did is looking at her from far away. Always maintaining distance with her. He did not dare to cross path with her. Slowing she was healing and more often she started to laugh, had fun with friends. But boy- although he was wrong but he was too hurt, he hardly eats anything, he became silent boy. All he did was looking at her from far ways. So has time passed winter break came. Now boy is also slowing started to move on. Like wise 2007 ended and 2008 came he was same always lost no concentration on anything, day passed on and on 2008 ended 2009 too. But on 2010 some thing unexpected happen. Boy was in love again.
Chapter 2-Love So Mute:
It was year of 2010, year when new technology was on initial phase. Smart phones, phone having features to play music take photos. Like wise it was summer break, boy with few of his friends was on trip towards local river where they use to swim, cook and enjoy. It was sunny day, sun was very bright than usual, boy was lying down on side of river bank, suddenly he heard someone laughing. But he was so lazy that he did not bother to look at it. “Silent sound of tree leave blown away but wind and bird humming were just rhyming with sound of water flowing at river, “out of nowhere he heard someone calling his name, boy in his rude tone “who the hell is it”. Boy was amazed he saw someone with such a beautiful simple and goddess like feature was looking at him, he was like what is this am I dead am I at garden of God surrounded by beautiful butterflies. After many years he was having same feeling as that of those years. He gently stood and walked towards them, there was group of girls and among them one of them was his friend who was calling his name.
At evening they returned home together, after reaching his home called his friend and started asking about her friend to whom he has fallen flat. His friend laughed and teased him and finally she said that she is her classmate and her name was so and so. So asked everything about her, after gaining all her information her likes and dislikes he hanged up his call. Boy with big smile was looking at his all notes that he has noted from his friend, but deep-down boy was in fear what if he repeated same mistakes or end of hurting her and himself.
Several months passed it was already winter- month of November. Boy had slowly busy in his own world, but you know when universe wants you to meet someone no matter what you do you will end up meeting that person. Boy encountered her again, he froze he had many things to ask but he could not open his mouth. Now he had made up his mind that he will confess his feelings to her. He had her phone number already which he got from his friend. He messaged he “hi this is so and so, how you doing” , she too replied, like wise they started to have conversation- use to share everything. So, boy on fine day he confessed his feeling, in fact by now she was also well aware about his feeling. So replied like neither no neither yes. Boy was confused but was also happy in same time, they continued to have long chats, but they had never talked neither over nor in person.
Like wise days passed- they were happy but only problem was that they have never talked- in fact they dint even knew each other voice. So, boy too his courage and called her – it was her pleasant voice like of angle. So, after that they started have voice call, so one of the hurdles was passed. So, day came when we had board exam- exams which will decide whether we will get to high school or not. At that time, they minimized their activity over phones. Boy was good at controlling his feeling but she was like we need to have conversation. Boy tried to explain her but she was like not ready to listen. Slowly difference started building up and boy was also tired of explaining her. Although he liked her but he was also concern about his future.
Board was over and everyone was free of burden, he called her but by this time situation was already worsen. They hardly had any conversation, boy also did not tried his best to approach her. Slowly they stopped having any conversation. Funny part of this relation was that they never had any conversation on person all they did was messages and voice call. Even when they crossed road also, they dint even looked at each other.
It was D-day, day when results were out. She called him and asked to look her result also. He opened his computer and typed website www.soandso.com and filled his all details and pressed ENTER, ….
He got through although not that star marks but he got through, now it was her turn, same thing he entered her details. but she had negative results. I was like how, how can I covey her this news, so he after mumbling for while he called her and said about her result, she was devasted, she stared speaking in strange way it sounded like she was saying,” what have I done, what where should I go, you you it was you who did this to me” boy was surprised to see her this side. She hanged up her call, boy tried to call her but she had already blocked him. But was also feeling guilty,” yes maybe it was me due to which she got distracted and ended up like this”.
He tried to call you but she never responded, after that day they never met each other. Slowly boy also moved on although he could not get any closure and he felt guilty. And fun part was they talked about many things about likes dislike, made plan to go here do that and that but both of them never had courage to take or approach on person.
It was already 2011 and memories about her stared fading away, although he had deep regret but he could not do anything. He smiled “it was the day when my talked more than me, day when it felt like it was my phone not me who like her”. so, like wise he moved on and now he was high schooler new day new challenges and new adventure waiting for him.
