Savage awakening

PART ONE:

She stood there with the Moonlight dripping over her skin. She had no idea what had prompted her to go into the woods behind her house at midnight. But here she was with nothing but her night shirt on. The last few nights had been the same. Restlessness, then the urge to run in the woods, almost like some one was calling her. She could almost hear the voice calling even now. Karma was tall and muscular. She had beautiful long red hair, like fire cascading down her back, And in about six hours she would officially be eighteen.

She lived at home with her dad. Her mom had died on the job when she was seven. Her mom and dad were both security guards for the King. But she had always had the feeling there was more to it then anyone was letting on. Her dad promised to explain everything when she was eighteen. She was excited but also a little scared to find out what was going on. All she was allowed to know about her parents job is they ran security, and that the king owned wolves. Witch was weird in its self she had heard howling here and there but never actually seen a wolf.

Karma shook her head and turned to go back to the house. She whipped back around when she heard a howl. It sounded really close. She clutched her hands to her chest and took a shaky step backwards. She froze in awe and fear when a huge silver wolf appeared from the trees. It looked at her with beautiful yellow eyes. She noticed a deep scar that ran from the corner of it's left eye to his lower jaw. She was mesmerized until it took another bold step towards her and growled low in its throat., Suddenly another huge wolf jumped out of the trees! This one was a little smaller then the silver wolf. Karma was speechless how was that even possible the silver wolf was huge. This new wolf was an auburn brown color. It snaked in front of Karma in a manner that could only be described as protective. Like it knew her. It turned to look at her and she sucked in a hard breath, the wolf had her fathers blue eyes. Scared and confused she took off running for the house she did not stop until she was in her room. A few moments later there was a knock on her door.

"Who is it?" She asked hesitantly.

"It's dad." He answered sounding concerned. Before she could respond, he slowly opened the door. He cautiously walked to her and sat at the edge of her bed. "I know your freaked out but before you get to frightened I think it's time for us to have that talk I have been avoiding. It will explain everything and more hopefully." He said.



"Whats going on dad? How did you know I was upset," Karma stammered. She flinched when he reached out to touch her shoulder. She needed answers but was unsure if she was ready to hear it.

"Sweat heart it is all going to be okay. What you have been experiencing is completely normal for our kind. The late night urge to run in the woods and follow the moon, The unsustainable need for meat, the sound of howling but lack of Wolves in sight." Tom started, but was soon cut of.

"What! What are you talking about! How do you know about the running at night, and the craving for meat! Dad how is that possible?" Karma looked at her father with a strange expression.

"I'll explain just calm down please?."

"Calm down! You want me to calm down! Why should I? Are you having me followed and watched? Dad!" She began to panic and her skin began to get hot like lava ran through her veins.

"Sweetheart please deep breaths you need to calm down or your going to shift." Tom said calmly taking her hot hand in his and running his thumb over her knuckles.

"Shift? What does that even mean?" She asked taking a breath and slowly releasing it. She did this a few more times as she looked her father dead in the eye. He spoke once she was calm.

"Okay, I think your ready now.. We are werewolves sweetheart. You are getting ready to shift into your wolf for the first time. Everything you have known about Me and your mother, goddess rest her soul, Is mostly true. We Ran security for the king for twenty years. But the last five took a toll on every one. This is the part you don't know. The night your mother was killed there was a breach at the castle me and Lana Were the first on scene. We had the Rogue cornered. But he got past me, that's how he got to Lana, Your mother. You see the packs were at war over the river lands."

"Wait pack? War? What does that mean?" Karma interrupted. "Dad your not making any sense." Tom put his hands on Karma's and took a deep breath he knew that She was going to be upset. But she would be a full wolf in four hours, She'd shift for the first time, maybe even meet her mate at the Annual new wolf moon celebration this weekend. And he knew she may not forgive him for waiting so long to tell her. He could lose her all together. But he had to do it she should know before her first shift.

"Yes Karma pack, as I said earlier, we are werewolves, the howling you hear is not animals but your pack. The meat cravings and heightened senses are all preparing you for your first shift. And yes, I have had a close friend follow you discreetly to ensure your safety. There's the annual new wolf moon gathering in three days, you may potentially find your mate there."

"STOP! This can not be happening, You have lost your mind! I need to be alone right now?. LEAVE!" Karma yelled. She flung herself into her pillow sobbing.

"Please sweetheart?"

"NO JUST GO" She yelled. Tom stood and walked to the door taking one last look at her over his shoulder, then closing the door. Karma stood, wiped her tears and went to the window. She looked out at the field that ran between her house and the forest. Suddenly there was movement to her right. She snapped her head to the spot and saw a small gray wolf sneaking into the yard. She was about to yell for her father when he stepped into view with a blanket in his hands. Then the wolf transformed into a strikingly beautiful woman.

"Sage, my dear how are you?" He asked wrapping the blanket around the woman's naked body. "its chilly out tonight I hope tomorrows warmer for Karma."

"It is supposed to be honey. How is lovely Karma doing have you talked to her yet?" Sage said in a slightly hushed voice. "She only has a few hours left before the change starts and she is going to need us both, you her father and I her guide." Sage said.

"I did, but I am afraid it did not go over very well. Tom responded racking his hand through his hair.

"I told you, you should have told her sooner Tom, but she will be okay. Before Karma could hear anymore she turned and bolted down the stairs and into the yard surprising both Sage and her father. "Well hello lovely." Sage said calmly. She turned to Karma and put her hand on Karma's shoulder. "I promise that even though this was a complete shock, your father only wanted the best for you and to keep you safe. When you are ready ill be over here." She said then went to the little chairs and fire pit and sat down.

"Is what she said true dad?" Karma asked looking at him.

"Yes dear I was worried you wouldn't understand if I told you sooner." Toms head bowed in shame. "I knew I had to protect you as much as I could. Loosing your mother with you so young ruined the plan we had for telling you." He said sadly. Karma just stood there for a moment processing everything.

"Okay, So we are werewolves?. That sounds so strange." She put her hand softly in her fathers hand. No more secrets okay?" Tom looked at his daughter in surprise and awe.

"Okay I promise. No more secrets." He smiled and then led her over to Sage. They sat down and just relaxed for a moment. It was silent for a little while before sage cleared her throat.

"Okay, since no one else is gonna start this shindig I guess I will." She quipped happily She turned to Karma and looked her straight in the eyes.."Okay darling, I am going to give a lot of information fairly fast but don't fret I will make sure you get to ask your questions, there are a few things you need to know before your first shift. She wiggled in her seat. Karma couldn't help but notice how her father watched Sage. "First off the first shift is always scary no matter what, even those who had time to prepare themselves get scared so don't you dare feel bad if you do. Second it will happen fast, some say it hurts others say it happens to quickly to tell. Third your going to need to run to get used to your legs don't know why but that's how it goes.

Lastly you need to stay close to me while in wolf form. Your a newbie, unknown, another member might mistake you as a rogue. It is my job as your guide to keep you safe, your father can be present at the time of shifting if you want, but considering most shift from a nude

state you might not want him there. Do you have a best friend or some one close to you that you would be comfortable to see you in that state?" Sage asked opening up the conversation..

"No I don't I am a bit of a loner?.." Karma stammered. "I think I will be okay with just you there. You are right when you thought my dad shouldn't be present for that portion. "I do have a few questions though. First, How do I communicate? Second How long will I be in wolf form? What will my wolf look like? Third, will I change in other ways after shifting?" Karma asked her questions very clearly and calmly. "Last, how do I know I'm getting ready to shift?" She sat back and played with her fiery red hair and chewed on her bottom lip nervously. Sage took a moment to ponder the questions so she could give the best answers possible.

"Okay, so communication is absolutely key. When you are in you wolf form you obviously wont speak words, you will, like a wolf, growl and such. But this is where it gets kinda cool, you can mind link with any pack member, Close friend and or partner as long as they are a wolf as well. This can happen in human form as well after the first shift. It varies, the time you spend in wolf from is up to you, Normally the first shift only lasts about an hour as it is tiring and hard on the body. As you get comfortable in your wolf state, and with shifting it will get better. When you want to shift back into you, you simply relax, breath deep, and imagine you as your self. It also might be a good idea to stash clothing in some safe spots so if you shift back and your not home, you can cover up, As far as what your wolf will look like, most likely you will be close to what your fathers wolf or mothers wolf looked like, for a child to be a werewolf they have to be willingly bitten, or have two wolf parents. What your wolf looks like also corresponds with your rank in the pack, omegas, or submissive wolves are smaller and not to flashy in coat. Now alpha, they are larger and often have bright or rare coats. I am an omega type, your father is an alpha type. Now the pack alpha, the big boss, he /she, tend to be extremely special in coats color and design. And omegas normally partner with omegas. Some times an omega and alpha will link. After your first shift, and you have met your wolf, you will be more confident, and energetic. You will know you getting ready to shift when you get antsy like you cant hold still, you are scared, or you are angry, emotion plays a huge part in shifting. Sage said she then sat back and let her process all the information she was just drowned in.

"Sweetheart, I just want you to know that I love you. I am so proud of you and you are going to make an extraordinary wolf I just know it." Her father said while they were quiet. "My first shift was terrifying lol." He said shaking his head.

"Really? What happened?" Karma asked. She was curious as obviously she had not talked about this before with her father. She wondered if that is way she had always felt distant from him. Maybe that would change now.

"Yes. It started out just fine. I spent the day fishing with my father and older brother. Then we had supper with my mother a delicious stack of thick ribs and potatoes. My older brother, Uncle Kyle, thought that it would be great fun to start picking on me. Now mind you he was a big goof ball, but he had issues with boundaries some times and when he got on a roll it was damn near impossible to stop him. His wolf was even more focused and strong. Well I Ignored him for what seemed like ages. But then suddenly he decided to tackle me right off the picnic table bench. I remember my father yelling at Kyle to stop that that was a very bad idea. Well He was right. My plate went flying, ribs every where. I got so mad and it started to feel like I was on fire, every muscle hurt tremendously, my Dad yelled see what you did, you big idiot! You triggered a shift while your brother is very angry, you best hope hes able to control himself. He turned to Lana, my girlfriend at that point, and told her she might want to hide. Your mother of course refused. Then all I remember was looking into her eyes through what seemed look goggles. She was the only thing that existed for about four minutes. When I regained complete awareness, I was sitting on the grass and Your mother was in front of me with this shocked look on her face. My father stepped in between us and wrapped his jacket around my shoulders. He then Told me that I had turned into the largest wolf he had seen in a decade, and that me and Lana immediately linked. My mother rushed up with fresh clothing and We cleaned up as best we could. Five minutes later Lana's father stormed up the path and made Lana go home. He had told my father that she deserved better then a rowdy mutt. It was the best day of my life though, Because it confirmed the bond me and Lana had. Tom said gazing up at the stars remembering it like it was yesterday. Everybody jumped when Sage's phone went off. She looked down and her eyes widened in shock.

"Uh, Tom we should probably get her ready, Congratulations Kid your officially eighteen. Sage said standing to give Karma a big hug. Now do you want to stay here in the yard, or go into the forest, Tom can have clothes waiting for you, Sage asked getting antsy.

Karma just stood there for a second soaking in the new truth of her life.

"Well I think we should head for the woods maybe, you know more privacy." karma said wiping her hands on her legs. She turned and started walking into the trees. Sage nodded

and looked at Tom reassuringly. She promised to keep Karma safe, and told him to put clothes on the stoop for her. She then turned and walked off briskly to catch up to Karma.

They walked in silence for awhile, neither one knowing what to say. It was Karma who broke the silence.

So how long have you known my father?" She asked curiously. She wanted to learn more about the woman who had her fathers eye. They entered a beautiful meadow and Karma stopped, she turned to Sage expectantly waiting for a response.

"I have known your father since high school.. We dated for about a year, before he met Lana. I knew the moment he saw her I didn't have a chance, so i told him we could stay friends, and we have. Losing Lana?.. It broke your dad. He didn't know what to do, or how he was going to raise you by himself. But he did it, and He did an amazing job, Karma, he loves you so much. I think you two are the strongest people I know." Sage said with so much love in her voice it surprised Karma..

"Sage do?..do you love my father?" Karma asked, she looked at Sage intensely trying to gauge her answer.

"Yes. Yes I do very much. He is who I would have as my chosen mate if I had the choice. She said solemnly. Karma saw Sage's face go sad then suddenly perk back up. "Hey enough heavy talk, Lets get you ready its almost time can you feel it Karma?" Sage said looking at her excitedly. Karma took a deep breath and closed her eyes, The air felt like it was super charged the electricity in it amplified to the max

"I think so there is so much buzz in the air suddenly." Karma said her breath fast and hot. She opened and closed her hands and shifted from foot to foot. She was quickly aware of every little sound and movement even though she had not opened her eyes yet. "Sage, I think It's time what do I do?" She asked finally opening her eyes. Sage stepped behind her and started to lift her night shirt/

"Okay so you take this off, or destroy it in shift?. Okay remove it." She said with a giggle when she saw the horrified look on Karma's face. Sage cleared her throat and lightly

pulled at Karma's underwear. "What about these?"

"Those can be replaced lol." Karma responded. She stood there in the moonlight, her breath shaky with nerves. Sage appeared in front of her again and she put her hands on Karma's shoulders

"okay, I can tell by how hot your skin is you are very close to shifting, now you just breath. Envision your werewolf, feel her taking over. Open up your mind, body, and heart to her. Take deep breaths, whatever you feel just remember to breath. She then took a step back. You don't ever want to be to close to a werewolf when in shift. The moon rose over the trees and shown directly into the meadow right on Karma like a spotlight. Karma opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. "Don't speak, it is all right love." Sage soothed.

Suddenly Karma's skin erupted into hot pins and needles, she threw her head back. She couldn't fight the urge to howl. She took a deep breath, and as she released it she felt her bones move and contort. The breath left as a scream then morphed with her body into an amazingly sad howl. Karma blinked a few times, and shook her head. Once her eyes focused she looked up at Sage who was staring at her in shock. Oh no...somethings wrong...What happened, Did I shift into something bad? She wondered. She then had the urge to run. She looked at the forest then to sage, then she took of as fast as she could. The air felt so good going through her fur. She ran until she hit the river. She knew it was off limits to go to the other side. A few minutes later a cute little black and gray wolf appeared. She recognized the wolf as the one that had been in the yard. She sniffed the other wolf putting the scent to memory. Sage watched as Karma moved around testing her wolf, getting used to her form Karma jumped half way to the moon when Sage's voice broke the silence in her head.

"So, how does it feel? Do you like it?" Sage said excitedly, her tail waged uncontrollably. Karma wiggled while she thought about her feelings about this. She felt stronger, more awake, or better yet more alive.

"I feel amazing!" She responded. "Is this the mind link??? By the way what did my dad mean when he said I might link with my mate at the annual new wolf moon thing?" Karma asked curiously.

"He meant that you could find your soul mate, your life partner. Lets focus on the shift right now though, there is plenty of time to figure the heart out later." Sage said with a giggle.

"I still don't think I understand but yeah okay lets figure this out first." she agreed. Karma then quickly started running again. She threw her head up and howled excitedly. Sage joined her and howled as well. They ran until they were back at the edge of the field in front of the house sage turned to her.

"Do you want to show your wolf to your father? I'm sure he would love to meet her." Sage asked.

"Yeah that seems fun." Karma responded. Her tail waged excitedly.

"Okay, wait hear ill go get him. Sage said as she took off across the field. Karma watched as Sage went up to the door and pushed the bell with a paw.. A few seconds later the door opened and Tom Walked out, he smiled when he saw sage. His face went worried when he realized Sage was alone.

"wheres Karma?" He asked. He looked around quickly. Sage quickly mind linked him.

"Calm down Tom she is fine, she is waiting in the tree line, she wanted to show you her wolf. Sage said softly calming his nerves.

"Oh, okay then lets see her!" He said.

"First I have to warn you?."

"Warn me? About what?"

"Her wolf, is not normal. I have never seen a wolf so large or beautiful tom. She puts all others to shame. "Sage said.

"I knew she would, Shes Lana's baby." Tom said filled with pride.

That's true, I will call her over."Sage responded turning around and signaling Karma Who immediately trotted over. Toms eyes got wide and his breath caught. This wolf was immaculately structured. Her fur looked like flames, like he felt he would literally burn if he touched it. You could see every movement of strong muscles rippling under the fur. Her face was framed be the fiery red fur but the actual face was charcoal black, and the eyes, the eyes were a violet purple. He just stood in place staring for a minute.

"Dad!, hello?" Karma said giggling through the mind link. Tom shook his head and smiled.

"Karma my dear child, your are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen, your mother would be proud, and I'm going to have to start carrying a bat." He said laughing.

"Why will you need a bat?" Karma asked confused.

"To keep the boys away." Sage chimed in with a smile. "Hey Tom do you have those spare clothes, Karma must be exhausted." Sage said. Suddenly Karma was aware of the fast draining energy. Tom nodded and pointed the chair next to the door then turned and went inside. Karma changed clothes quickly. She said goodnight to her father and Sage and went upstairs to her room. She climbed into her bed and was soon fast asleep.

Sage sat with Tom watching the stars. She knew they would have to tell Karma soon about their relationship, but for now they would let her get used to her wolf. Sage stood and went to Tom. She straddled him in his chair pressing her breasts against him. His eyes filled with lust and he gripped her hips. She leaned down and softly laid her lips on his. He ran his hands up her sides and into her hair. She shifted closer to him as he took the kiss deeper. After a few moments she pulled away and stood.



"I should probably go. I'm a link away if you need me babe." She said ditching the blanket and shifting into her wolf. Next thing Tom new, he was alone in the yard. That woman he thought shaking his head. She was something. He was glad she was there to help. He made his way into his room and climbed into bed.



PART TWO

The next morning Karma woke up full of excitement. She got out of bed and examined herself in the mirror. Wow, she thought to her self. Her muscles seemed more defined and her skin was glowing. She felt like she could do anything. She rummaged through her clothes and picked three old not very good looking outfits. She figured she might as well prepare her safe zones. She put the outfits into bags then put a few health supplies in the bags as well. She didn't know, maybe she could get hurt. Fifteen minutes later she was dressed and ready for the day. She went downstairs while throwing her hair into a messy bun on top of her head.

Her father was already at work. She toasted a bagel and spread some cream cheese over it. Karma poured a cup of orange juice and sat at the counter. After she had finished her breakfast, she put on her running shoes and headed out towards the woods. She went to the spot her and Sage had gone to the night before and decided that this would be her shifting spot. She put a set of clothes in a hole in a tree and smiled.

Karma slowly removed her clothes and then stood, eyes closed, breathing deeply, she imagined her wolf. She smiled big when she felt the fiery tingle slide up her arms with familiar pain. She was a natural. She shifted with ease then took off at a dead run. After ten minutes she slowed and stopped at a stream. She drank the cool refreshing water freely. Her head wiped up when she heard a howl. Then twigs snapping. She turned around just as a huge Silver wolf appeared she recognized the scar on his face. This was the same wolf she had seen yesterday. It lowered his head to be less threatening and cautiously approached her.

She felt an unnatural connection to this wolf. She felt affection not fear for him it was like her wolf had known his for ever.

She let him smell her then she did the same in almost a ritual way. Saving his scent to memory. He looked her directly in the eye and she was amazed when she herd a sexy low voice in her head. It took a moment for her to realize he had mind linked with her.

"Dove, you are my mate, I have waited years to find you." He said rubbing his body along hers. "I know you are still learning about your wolf, we have extraordinary long lives. I had almost given up on finding you then I came across you in the clearing and my wolf went crazy. That's when I knew you were mine." He said as they walked along the creek. "My name is Savage, you are the only one who can call me by name every one else calls me Alpha." He sniffed the air suddenly. "I got to go I will find you at the new moon celebration." He looked at her longingly then ran into the trees.

A few seconds later Sage appeared in the distance. She was running towards Karma excitedly. It only took a few minutes for Sage to reach her. Sage was really excited and could barely contain it. She jumped up and down on just her back legs then quickly mind linked Karma.

"Karma! It's here! Your personal invitation to the Celebration! But you will never guess why it is so exciting! This is a PLUS ONE invite!" She all but squealed .

"What does that mean, I can bring one person as a guest with me?" Karma asked confused.

"No, it means you are the plus one, special guest!" Sage explained. They went back to the clearing and Shifted into Human form again. They dressed and walked back to the house.

"I'm still confused Sage." Karma said as they entered her house. They got a soda from the fridge and sat at the counter. Sage pulled a Lavender colored envelope across the counter. She handed it to Karma and wiggled in her seat. Just then her father walked in. He was greeted by an ecstatic Sage who all but jumped in his arms.

"Whats all the excitement about beautiful." Tom said carrying Sage with him and setting her down on the counter top." Karma eyed them questioningly.

"Um, is there something I need to know about the two of you? Dad? Sage?" she asked looking back and forth at them. Sage smiled and nudged Tom.

"Well I guess now's as good a time as any,'' He said clearing his throat, "Me and Sage have bonded And are chosen mates. There are two types of mates Karma. The first is like me and your mother, True mates, also known as fated mates. You don't pick this one it just happens and is life long. The second is chosen mates, this happens when two wolves agree to be mates. It's not as strong as true mate bonding but happens after a true mate has passed or is never found.

"I am really happy for you two." Karma said smiling. "But I still Don't understand this invitation." She said looking at it again. Her father took it from her and read it carefully. His eyes widened and he looked at sage who was beaming.

"Is this real, He has never sent one of these out." Tom said. He turned to Karma and Sat next to her. "The meaning of this invitation is so important. I have to start from the beginning to explain it. Back before your mother died we were at war. The Alpha of the Rouge wolves was trying to claim leadership We all thought that he was a cruel unforgiving soul who just wanted power. Turns out it was our current leader who was cruel. He killed ninety percent of the rouge wolves. So we banded together against Alpha Jarvine. Now this new Alpha has been fair and strict. But that's all we know, He is known only as Alpha. As far as any one knows he is a lone wolf no mate. Recently there has been talk about his wolf getting restless. We believe this celebration is in fact a search for his mate. Tom stopped at the look on his daughters face.

"Karma, now is there something you need to tell us?" Tom asked at the red cheeked look of understanding fell over Karma's face. "It's okay sweetheart. You can tell us anything. We are only here to help and educate okay." Tom said placing a reassuring hand on Karma's shoulders. Karma shook her head not sure if she should say anything. Savage had seemed keen on keeping it privet. That should have been a red flag but Karma did not know any different. All she knew was he was her mate and right know in the moment she felt as if keeping quiet was some how protecting him.

"Okay honey, Now you will know instantly when you bond to a True mate. But more on this celebration. This is the eleventh annual new moon ceremony. And he has never sent a personal invite. This plus one, says you Are his plus one. I don't know why but I feel as if something strange is afoot. But then again he may just want to meet the daughter of the she wolf that gave her life for his cause. Or it could be because you were oddly the only one to turn eighteen this year. Normally there's more young ones. Tom said thoughtfully.

"Any way the celebration is tomorrow, are we all ready? What are you wearing Karma?" Sage asked excitedly turning the conversation away from their alpha. Karma smiled excitedly back at Sage and jumped up from her seat.

"I'll show you it is in my closet!" She grabbed Sages hand making her laugh as she was all but dragged out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Once they were in Karma's room and the door was closed Karma made Sage sit on the bed and started pacing. "Okay I did not feel comfortable telling my dad, But something happened in the forest just before you showed up." She said sitting next to sage nervously. "You see I was by the creek and this huge male silver wolf appeared." Karma began. "He had a scar that went from his left Eye down to his Lower jaw, I should have been terrified, but I realized I had seen him before last night before dad told me everything." Sage listened calmly with a concerned look on her face. "But once he got close, and I caught his scent, it was like we had known each other our whole lives." Sage's eyes widened, and she grabbed Karma's hands in hers. She was smiling from ear to ear.

"Karma, That's a bond! That wolf is your Mate! But you said you saw him before you shifted once before, like do you think he was watching you?" She asked.

"I do, Dad saw him to he jumped in between us but did not advance on the other wolf just blocked me from him, like he did not want to offend the silver wolf." Karma said only just now realizing the significance.

"That's because the wolf you described is your Alpha! The King of this region." Sage said lowering her voice. "I wonder why Tom did not mention that to me." Sage said confused. She shook her head after a few moments. "Anyway I am sure it is nothing to worry about dear, now lets see this dress? it is a dress isn't it?" She said smiling.



"Yes it is, it is a very special dress." Karma said as she stood and went to the closet. She moved a few things then came back into the room with an old dress box. She sat it down next to Sage. "This dress was my mothers, I wanted to wear it for my first big event. Do you think Dad will be okay with it?" She pulled a gorgeous black lace dress that made her hair look like fire. Sage gasped and covered her mouth with her hands for a second.

"Oh, Karma! It's beautiful! I can't wait to see you in it.'' Sage said breathless.

"Your father is going to be so proud of you. He will have the prettiest daughter in the world." She continued. Karma smiled.

"Thank you Sage. And just so you know I am completely okay with you and my dad. You two are a great couple." Karma said putting the dress down and hugging Sage. They stayed like that for a few seconds then pulled away laughing. Just then Tom knocked on the door. Karma quickly hid the dress then turned to the door telling her father he could enter. "Are you trying to snoop?" She asked narrowing her eyes at him.

"Not at all." He said smiling. "I was wondering if you guys wanted to go for a run together?" Tom said stepping aside as Sage went past him.

""I would but tomorrows a big night I should get some rest." Karma said walking over to Tom and hugging him. "I love you daddy." She said then she went and sat on her bed.

"I love you to kiddo." He replied as he shut her door. "What about you sexy? How about a run?"

""Of course handsome." She said just before she spun and bolted for the door losing clothes along the way. Tom did not hesitate. He was right behind her They shifted on the move and bolted into the trees. They ran and played like pups for a few hours then went back to the house. Then quietly went up the stairs. As soon as the door closed Tom Pinned Sage against is ravishing her mouth and sliding his palms over her body. Sage was about to protest when he suddenly flipped he around so her chest was pressed against the door. She gasped when he sunk his teeth into her neck, marking her, at the same moment he pushed two fingers in side her.

Sage couldn't help it she moaned loudly, arching her back more to give his hands better access. He growled low in his throat reveling in the sounds she made. He pushed her to the edge but did not let her go over. He pulled away and she spun around locking eyes with him. He smirked at the angry lust filled look in her eyes. She wrapped her hand around his hard shaft never breaking eye contact, and slowly began stroking him. He yanked her up after a few minutes and took her to his bed. They spent the rest of the night in each others arms.

PART THREE

Karma woke up and jumped out of bed. Today was the day, the day of the new moon celebration. She got dressed and went downstairs for a fast breakfast before going to get her hair, make-up, and nails done both hands and feet. She was pampering herself. She was going to make sure that she looked and felt good. Tonight was going to be a blast and very special. She did not know how she knew it but she could feel the energy building. She ate a bagel with peanut butter and then grabbed her bag and ran out the door just as Sage honked her car horn for her. They had decided to make a girls day out of the preparation for the party. Tom would have to fend for himself.

The party celebration began at seven. Sage and Karma stopped at a sandwich shop for a fast lunch before their hair appointments. They watched the people running here and there all just as excited for that evening to begin. They made their way into the hair salon five minute s early. The place was packed full of giggling gossiping women. They checked in and were ushered back promptly. The hair stylist took a look at Karma's hair and the photo of the dress that was shown to her and smiled.

"Okay honey, I think a fancy bun with lace And pearl wrapping would be exquisite, what do you think?" She said looking at Karma through the mirror. Karma looked for reassurance from Sage but she was already at a wash station. So she agreed and was taken to a wash station. The stylist washed and conditioned her hair than wrapped it in a towel and took her back to her station where she began to work on Karma's hair, About an hour later she was starring at a face she did not recognize. The hair and make up was immaculate. She looked like royalty. Sage walked up and could only smile she was so amazed at the look.

Karma and sage went back to karma's house and relaxed for a bit. They had about an hour before they had to be dressed and ready for her dad to pick them up. Half an hour later they were in karma's room getting dressed. Karma was in her closet and Sage in the room. Karma stood in front of the mirror in the closet staring at herself. Sage peeked around the closet door and gasped. She came the rest of the way around with a hand to her mouth. "Oh My God! Karma you look stunning. Your father is going to be so proud of you." Sage said hugging Karma gently. Karma smiled and hugged her back. "Oh it's six thirty five we should get outside and meet your father now." Sage said taking Karma's hand and heading for the door.

"Sage, you look amazing to. My dads going to be very happy." Karma said as they made their way down stairs and to the front door. "Tonight we are going to have the best time I just know it." Karma said then pulled the door open. They walked out the door together and smiled the biggest smiles they had ever done when they saw the look on Tom's face.

"Well well ladies, I cant believe my eyes. You two look spectacular." Tom said giving karma a kiss on the cheek then doing the same for Sage. "Karma you look just like your mother did on our first celebration together." Tom said with a tear in his eye. "Well we better get a move on. We don't want to be late now do we." Tom said opening the doors to his mustang convertible. He kept the roof up as to not ruin the girls hair. He drove quietly to the event listening to the girls talk and giggle. He was happy that they were friends. He Had a feeling something was going to happen tonight. It made him slightly uneasy. About twenty minutes later they pulled up to a huge house. It was made of beautiful stone. "Well karma, sage, we are here. Karma this is the pack house. tonight is special because we honor not just our leader but the moon goddess who made us what we are." Tom explained. "normally the first few minutes are spent acknowledging the new wolves, but as this year there is only one new shifter, I am not sure if they are doing it the same way."

"I am sure it will work out however they decide to do this. "Sage said patting Karma's shoulder. They walked through the gates and into the pack house. They were suddenly in a whole new world. There were so many people talking and laughing. They weaved there way to a table by the garden doors and sat down. Tom stood and got them drinks then sat back down. The chatter and laughter went on for another fifteen minutes when suddenly there was a loud howl. It was a drawn out beautiful howl, that had every one quieting down, it had karma's ears perking up and excitement bubbling in her stomach. Her wolf was now in full awareness.

Once the room was quiet a muscular, handsome man walked up to the stage. He was the most handsome man karma had ever seen. He was rugged and chiseled with muscles. His movements were fluid and almost like dancing. Her wolf pulled at her chest and she heard her inner voice say, "MATE". Then as if He had heard her, his eyes locked with hers. It was only for a second but it felt like ten minutes. He then went on to speak. His voice was low and sexy, it captivated the room.

"Hello my fellow wolves, Tonight is our celebration for the moon goddess. But this year is different, How you might ask, Well unlike previous years, we only have one knew shifter joining us this year," He said and Karma's nerves shot through the roof, he was doing this first thing like her dad had said he might. "This year we welcome the daughter of Tom and Lana Calhan to the pack with pride and love. Karma Callhan, would you please stand so we can welcome you properly with a howl?" He said locking eyes with hers again. She did as he asked. She stood and the room erupted into cheers whistles and howls from everywhere. But their eyes never left each other. "Thank you Karma. You may be seated. We have a few things to discuss this evening but first let us feast!" He said loudly and then sat at the table with the other higher ranked wolves.

The feast was like nothing she had seen before. There was chicken, steak, pork, and fish. Bread, and all sorts of other side dishes including mashed potatoes and gravy. Karma was partial to fish and steak. She ate what she could with her nerves on edge she could feel she was being watched. She stood and went out to the gardens while everyone was still eating to get some fresh air and calm her nerves. She sat on a bench by the fountain and closed her eyes. That did not last long as she sensed the presence of someone else quickly. Her eyes shot open then relaxed when she saw Savage Standing in front of her. He sat next to her and took her hand in his.

"I knew you were here the second you arrived it took everything in me not to ditch the council and run to greet you." He said seductively. "I have waited so long for you my love." He kissed her hand. "I need to ask you a question it is very important but before I do I have to explain something about tonight. It is not just a celebration, it is also serving as a courting party. The council wants me to claim a mate, But know that I found you I don't want to entertain any one else." He said looking into her eyes. She knew the feeling she was not interested in any one else anymore either.

"My name is Karma, i understand how you feel. I feel like I'm home finally when I am with you." Karma responded scooting closer to him. Savage took her chin in his strong hand and lifted her face to his, Bringing his lips to hover just above hers.

"Let me claim you as my mate, we can take everything else slow, "He said before laying his lips on hers so gently she almost didn't know they were there. She sighed and leaned into the kiss. Savage finally broke the kiss and looked into her eyes questioningly. She looked back into his. She couldn't deny him she knew that much.

"Yes, Savage I am your mate no one else shall I claim but you. You may claim me my love." Karma said with out thinking. His face brightened into the biggest smile and she wondered how he seemed even more handsome then ever now.

"Oh thank you my dove, now I must go and prepare for the claiming I will be with you again soon I promise." He said standing and heading back into the pack house she soon went back in herself, neither had seen the man in the shadows. Karma sat back down in her seat. Then it hit her, how was she going to tell her father, should she tell him before or let the announcement do it. She decided to let the announcement do it.

She was enjoying a bowl of ice cream when Savage grabbed the rooms attention. She looked up and chills went down her spine when his eyes met hers. She wondered if this was the moment that he would claim her. She was excited yet nervous at the same time. How would her father react. She wondered what this would mean, would it change her day to day living? What new responsibility would she have. She found her self slightly angry at the fact she didn't know how pack life worked.

"My fellow pack members, as you know I have been searching for my mate, A hush fell across the room. There were a few murmurs and questioning glances around the room. Sage and her father appeared next to karma and Tom put his hand on karma's shoulder. "I am happy to announce that the search is over, I have found the she wolf who shall be your Luna. She is the most beautiful creature I have seen and I first saw her on a run, she had not yet shifted, that is why I did not know for sure it was her that night. But then I saw her again, this time in wolf form and me and my wolf knew it was her. Their hearts were as one immediately." Savage explained to the crowd. More and more people were looking her direction. Savage then made his way towards her. He stopped in front of Karma and took her hand in his. She saw a look of shock cross her fathers face before her wolf took over her brain.

"I alpha of the Celtic moon pack, Claim my Mate, Karma, do you claim me as well?" He asked looking deep into her eyes she was entranced and responded without a second thought.

"Yes My Alpha, My Mate," She said her fathers head whipped towards her. The shock and confusion fading as realization set in. Savage pulled Karma close moving a loose strand of hair out of her face tenderly. The room erupted again into howls and whistles. Music Started playing And Savage whisked her away to the dance floor. A few minutes later Tom appeared next to them.

"May I cut in Alpha?" He asked respectfully. Savage nodded and stepped aside letting her father take her hands. Once savage was out of ear shot Tom spoke again. "I am so proud of you Karma your mother would be ecstatic. Our daughter, mated to the Alpha, its amazing." He said. Karma caught a faint hint of disapproval but shook it off as nerves. A few moments later Savage returned.

"The party is heading out to the gardens to bring in the new moon, we should head that way." He said taking her hand and kissing it. Tom nodded and went to find Sage. Savage led Karma to a room just behind the stage. "We will join them soon, but first I need to kiss you and seal the bond." He said taking her chin in his hand and lowering his lips to hover just above hers. "Is this okay?" he asked almost whispering. All Karma could do was nod. He placed his mouth on hers gently testing for resistance. When he felt her begin to melt into him he wrapped his arms tight around her and took the kiss deeper.

Karma felt like the world around her disappeared. They were the only things that existed. She weaved her arms up his torso and around his neck taking the kiss deeper. She moaned when his tongue met hers in a desperate dance. Then suddenly she felt like her skin was on fire, she took a shaky step backwards and found her self against the door looking at a man who could devour her whole. Her whole body ached for his touch. But instead of taking her like his body wanted to he kissed her gently and showed her to the gardens. She was confused what had just happened. She shook it off as a fluke incident and looked up at the moon.

An hour later people were leaving and Karma stood at the doors with Savage saying good bye. When her father and Sage walked up Karma smiled and went to Sage. She turned around expecting to say good night to Savage, but instead saw him deep in conversation with her father. Sage looked at her with questioning eyes filled with excitement.

"Oh my dear goddess! You have to tell me everything what is going on in your head right now!" Sage chirped. She held karma's hands in hers and all but bounced up and down in excitement.

"A lot actually, I don't know whats expected from me right now. I don't want to upset dad but I feel at home with the alpha." Karma explained as she and Sage walked out side for fresh air. "I feel as if I'm expected to do something but I don't know what that is. When we were in the little room off the stage he kissed me and felt like I was being branded my skin got so hot. Karma said as Sage listened.

"Honey you completed a claiming bond. That was your wolf tethering to his, now you can feel what he feels and you will always be able to find each other. There is something I need to warn you about it happens every year after the new moon celebration to all wolves. It's known as the haze. Karma looked at sage with a confused look. "Basically its the wolf version of your monthly cycle." Sage said with a giggle.

"OH! Well how do I handle that I almost jumped The alphas bones." Karma said is it supposed to be that intense make you want things like that?" Karma asked appalled at her self.

"Yes that's why wolves try to find there true mate before the haze hits if they don't they can still pair up for the season but then again some stay alone, which is sometimes better. I mean can you imagine randomly pairing with someone then finding your mate and having to decide between the wolf your with now and your mate, it can get hairy real quick."Sage explained. She was going to say something else but just then Tom and the alpha emerged from the pack house all smiles and jokes like they had known each other forever, which wasn't all untrue they had known each other for several years. Tom walked up to Sage and kissed her cheek then looked at Karma.

"Karma my beautiful daughter, I love you so much, and I am so, so proud of you my dear, It is tradition that a bonded pair spend a few nights together immediately after a bond is struck to see if its a true bond. Are you okay with this, I will support any decision you make my child." Tom said with a tear in his eye. He knew her mother would be just as proud of her as he was. He still could not believe this was really happening. His daughter, bonded to the pack Alpha.

"Yes daddy, I am okay with that, I need a few things from the house?." Savage raised a hand as to let her know he was going to speak she looked at him and waited.

"I will have some one bring you what you need or we can go shopping, Whichever you prefer."

"Sage could you bring me some clothes and my toiletries?" She asked. Sage nodded.

"Thank you Sage I appreciate it id rather have you do it then a stranger. Daddy I will be okay I promise."She said when she saw that he was close to tears.

"I know you will be." Tom stated. "We better get going we will see you in the morning with your things?" Tom said looking at Savage. He nodded and they got in the car when a valet brought it around for them. Tom took another look at his daughter before getting into the vehicle and driving away.

"Your father loves you very much, he is having difficulty letting you go." Savage said taking her hand and leading her back into the pack house. There were people already bustling back and forth cleaning the room from the celebration. They had almost made it to the stairs that led to the living quarters when a males voice called out. Stopping Savage in his tracks. He turned and put himself in between her and the man that stood a mere six feet away.

"You think you can just back out of an agreement?" The man said with a tone of malice.

"Draco this is not the time or place to vent your greivences, I suggest you leave while I'm still feeling gracious." Savage said with a matter of fact way about him. Karma was wondering what person in their right mind would want to go up against this man, this Alpha wolf. "As for our agreement I will honor it as far as compensating you cash wise but I can not nor will I follow through with the wedding as you well know I found my true mate, I will not reject her for any other." He said in a very possessive tone that had Karma in awe. "Now I suggest if you have any further concern you bring it up at the next council meeting." He said waiving a hand and motioning for security to escort the man out.

He turned to Karma and smiled and then lead her up the stairs. He gave Karma a fast tour then took her into the master suit. The room was the most lavish bedroom she had ever seen. The bed was a four poster, king size bed covered in satin sheets with fur blankets. There was a love seat next to a huge glass overlook. Then another set of leather chairs with fur draped over them. She was in awe it was like a fairy tale room.

Savage came up behind Karma and ran his hands down her arms and the fiery sensation came back and Karma gasped. Savage leaned in and kissed her neck, he growled slightly when She instinctively tilted her head to give him access to her neck. He licked up her neck to the base of her skull. Then he froze. She heard him inhale deeply then she was spun around to face him. He had a lust filled look in his eye and she was sure that she was facing his wolf at the moment. She suddenly remembered what Sage had said Does it also effect the males? She thought she was a little angry she did not know anything about being a wolf.

"Sweet angel." Savage said tenderly yanking her from her thoughts. "Is this your first haze?" He asked looking deep into her eyes. She nodded not knowing what to say. "You must have had it explained to you?" He trailed off when he saw the look of embarrassment on her face. He took her chin in his hand and made her look at him. "Don't be embarrassed my Dove. I will help you learn everything. I have to say I am slightly shocked your father didn't teach you more about wolf life or your mother she seemed to be a confident wolf."

"Sage isn't my mother. Shes my dads new mate. And I only found out about being a wolf that first night I saw you when he blocked us." She said quietly. Savage took a step back looking at her with a shocked expression. He couldn't believe she did not know anything about wolf life. How could they keep this from her. He stood there for a few moments and just stared at her.

"A...Are you okay Savage?" She asked after what felt like an eternity. "I'm sorry I should have?.." She started but was cut off when he stepped forward and pressed his lips to hers aggressively.

"You have nothing to be sorry about my dove. You are perfect to me. This just means I get to enjoy all your firsts with you." He said smiling. His heart started pounding when a little smile perched on her lips. She looked so beautiful standing in front of the glass wall with the moon behind her in the dress of her mothers. He couldn't hold back he tugged her against him and kissed her deeply burying his hands in her hair sending bobby pins flying. She gasped and ran her hands up his chest. The fiery sensation came back faster then before and soon they were engulfed. She pressed against him moaning softly. He slowly unzipped her dress He slid it off her shoulders and let it pool at her feet he looked at her in the black lace corset and garter set. He turned her so her back was to him and pushed her so that she was bent over with her hands bracing on the bed. He ran his hands over her back and shoulders, then began slowly unbuckling the corset Karma wiggled in anticipation. She almost felt like she was going to shift. But then his voice sounded in her head.

"Calm down dove, we have plenty of time, let me savor you." His voice was cool, calm and collected. How was he so calm? She wondered. He only sounded calm she realized when she felt a tremor in his hand as he unbuttoned the last buckle of the corset. He growled seductively when it fell away freeing her breasts. He pulled her back into a standing position, and her back against him. His hands snaked around her torso and cupped her ample breasts as he kissed her shoulder. She sucked in a sharp breath. No one had ever touched her like this. He then turned her towards him so he could look into her eyes as he backed her to the bed. Karma gasped again when her knees buckled at the edge of the bed and she was forced to sit. Before Savage could do any thing she was fumbling with his belt. She looked up at him as she pulled the belt from their loops. She unfastened his slacks and pulled them and his briefs down over his hips.

Savage was just about to protest when her fingers wrapped around his hard member. She started to move her hand slowly and smirked when his eyes fluttered closed. She moved a little faster and was amazed when he groaned in pleasure. She did not think she could do this to a man, let alone an Alpha. Savage opened his eyes panting heavily and knelt down in front of karma. He leaned in slowly watching her face, and took a nipple into his mouth. Her head fell back and her hand entwined in his hair. He then pushed her backwards so she was laying on her back on the bed her legs still hanging over the edge. He lifted them over his shoulders and kissed her inner thighs slowly. She moaned softly. when he reached her center ha kissed softly over the silky fabric to find it wet with her arousal. He pulled the fabric to the side and licked her sensitive center. She shook with a wave of pleasure. He groaned as she moaned then tugged the last of her clothing of and devoured her aching sex till she was all but screaming his name.

Karma had her hands fisted in his hair. She let go when she felt his rise He held her legs up against his body and positioned himself at her wet sex. She watched him as he slid gently into her. A little ways in he felt her barrier. He looked at her questioningly, She nodded her response and closed her eyes as he pushed deeper until the barrier tore away. Karma gasped at the sudden pain. PART FOUR

Savage woke up and looked over next to him and smiled. Karma was still sound asleep. He got out of bed and went to the bathroom to shower. He was going to have a difficult time staying focused on work knowing she was in his bed.



He flipped through his schedule book and sighed. He decided to answer emails for the morning then tackle the phone after lunch. He intended to have lunch with karma. There was a ding on the surveillance camera and he checked the monitor to see Sages vehicle going through. Good, he thought now Karma could start settling in here. He thought to himself.

Karma woke to a knock on the door. She shot up and quickly pulled on some sweatpants and a shirt. She then went to the door opening it to see three guards with boxes enter with Sage behind them grinning over a box. They set the boxes by the closet then hurried out looking at Karma as if afraid she would yell at them. Instead she thanked them, quietly. She smiled back at Sage as they took a seat on the love seat by the glass wall.

"Wow! This room is beautiful. Just yours or did you share it with McHottie?" Sage said in a giggle. Karma's face turned red and she looked at her hands smiling a little. "Oh my god tell me everything!" Sage squealed like a teenager.

"It was better then anything I have ever experienced. It was like shifting but better. He was so gentle and attentive, this is his bedroom. And yes it is just beautiful. My wolf is so happy." Karma said holding Sage's hands.

"What about you, are you happy?" Sage asked looking directly into her eyes. "I really hope so, if you have questions I can try to answer them." Sage said shifting on her hip.

I am for the most part, i just wish I knew more about wolf life, like the haze?." She said trailing off. She was unsure if Sage would really want to discuss this topic with her. But to her surprise Sage looked appalled.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry I thought you would have known with your parents being both wolves!"

"No. not at all I know next to nothing about wolves let alone wolf courtship. I want to learn though." She said scooting a tiny bit closer to Sage. Sage cleared her throat and began describing to Karma what to expect, and what was expected of courting wolves. Karma listened intently.

"You both, having agreed, will put all others aside, meaning you come first in your needs and vise versa. Now the fact that hes the Alpha means he is a busy guy but I don't see that being an issue. Your wolves will need time together to, So expect to go on lots of runs, or hunts. Now it is considered rude or a sign of dislike to refuse to shift with another wolf. That doesn't mean you have to shift every time some one asks. You are technically the new Luna, but you wont take the roll officially until you are wed to the Alpha. But it wouldn't hurt to take some initiative and show that you can do it, and let me be clear, you can do it." Sage said emphasizing the word can.

"I am worried that the pack wont except me, a wolf who doesn't know how to be a wolf." Karma said ashamed. Sage was about to respond when there was a knock on the door, "Come in." Karma said surprised at the authority in her voice. A guard came in and Karma realized this guard was a young woman. Her sleeve said trainee on it. "Can we help you?" Karma asked when she just stared at her.

"Oh ye- yes, Lunch is ready, Alpha would like you and your guest to join him." She said nervously.

"We will be right down?" She trailed off looking at the girl.

"Meagan, ma'am." The girl replied then turned and left abruptly. Sage laughed.

"Sage! It's not funny! She was terrified!" Karma said as they stood and headed to the dinning room. Sage gave a small bow when they entered and she saw Savage sitting at the table. He smiled and stood, coming around and pulling a chair out next to him for Karma. Sage took the one across from her. Their food was placed in front of them by a kitchen staff and then they were left to their own.

"You must be Sage if I remember correctly." Savage said looking at Sage. He reached for Karma's hand without diverting his gaze from Sage.

"Yes Alpha, I am honored to be here." Sage said with the upmost respect.

"I am happy to have invited you to join us. How was your morning my dove?" He asked turning to Karma. Karma smiled.

"Oh it was so nice. Me and Sage discussed so much." Karma said cheerily. Then took a few bites in content silence then Savage spoke up addressing Sage again.

"Sage since My Dove is so new to wolf life, I was wondering if you would like to be her personal assistant, help her learn what she and her wolf need to know when I myself cannot be here." He said Pushing his finished plate aside.

"Yes I would love that! My Alpha, I love Karma like my own daughter." Sage said joyously. She looked over at Karma who was smiling as well.

"Good then you can also assist Karma with any new decor or remodeling she sees fit to instate. Now that we have our Luna, The pack house should show it. Don't worry about cost. Oh and Karma your office is two Doors down from mine, feel free to completely redo it. Make it yours." He said standing. He leaned Down kissing Karma on the forehead then taking his leave. Karma and Sage just smiled at each other for a moment then stood when a kitchen staff member bustled in to clear the table.

"Oh Karma, this is going to be so fun! I could start Monday, with everything that way you get the weekend with Alpha and I can put together some important information and a game plan. You can also think about the remodeling and what you want. I personally would start in that master bed room and your office." Sage chattered enthusiastically.

"That would be so great. Oh and please let my father know he can visit whenever he wants." Karma said as they stood by Sages vehicle. Sage nodded then hugged Karma and got into her car. Karma waived as she pulled away and headed down the drive way. Karma went back into the house and went to look at the office.

It had been about an hour and Karma stood in the middle of the office with a pad of paper. She was so engulfed in the sketch of the changes she wanted to make she did not hear Savage approach her. She jumped straight up into the air and yipped when he touched her shoulders. She spun around to see him laughing.

"It isn't funny! You scared me half to death mister!" She yelled putting her hands on her knees. Her drawing on the floor. Savage stooped and picked it up along with the pencil. He looked it over then surveyed the room.

"I'm sorry Dove, I did not mean to startle you, these the plans for the office? Very nicely drawn, you have talent." He said looking from the paper to spots around the office. "This would make a beautiful space. Show it to Sage, make final edits then we will get started. You know, you could make serious money designing." Savage said looking at the paper again. Karma blushed.

"Why thank you, are you done for the day or just taking a break?" She asked putting her arms around his neck. She pressed herself against him. She smiled when lust filled his eyes.

"Woman, you have no idea what you do to me do you?" He growled out.

"I have an idea?" Karma started but was cut short when his lips crashed into hers taking her breath away.

"I am finished for the day, I wanted to spend the last of the afternoon with you, on a run." He said taking her hand and leading her to the gardens. Once they reached a secluded section of the garden he removed his clothing then helped Karma out of hers. They stood there wrapped up in each other for a moment then Savage smirked and shifted in midair and took off into the trees. Karma was right behind him. They ran till they were in the clearing in which Karma had first shifted. Savage slowed and took a drink from the creek. Karma did the same then he turned to her lowering his front half to the ground with his tail in the air in a playful stance. Karma tilted her head then pounced on him. They wrestled like pups for a moment. Then Karma's ears shot up. She could hear her fathers voice, he sounded like he was hurt. Karma took off towards her house. Savage managed to get in front of her and stopped her at the edge of the trees by her fathers house.

"Wait, Karma let me, I don't want you hurt." Savage said through the mind link. Karma nodded. He cautiously went to the backdoor and listened. He heard the gruff aggressive voice of the intruder followed by Tom's voice.

"What do you mean shes not here, We were promised her hand, you said that she would be mine after her first shift. The male intruder said punching Tom. Tom groaned.

"It's not my fault, she found her mate on her first run?.." Tom cried out when he was hit again. "Please I'll convince her to come back I just need time." Tom begged. Savage had heard enough. He let out an angry howl to which there were several responding howls, then he burst through the door and pinned the man who was attacking Tom. Tom was tied to a chair with silver chains. He was bloody and bruised. Savage ordered Karma to go back to the pack house through the mind link. He waited until he knew she was a safe distance away.

"What the actual fuck is going on here and you better tell the truth!" Savage snarled. He looked from the man he had pinned to tom. Neither man responded He was about to ask again wen six of his security guards burst in. Take them both to the cells separate them. I will question them myself." Savage said. He turned and darted back into the trees. Karma was going to be devastated.

Back at the pack house, Karma paced the front room by the front doors. She ran to the garden doors when she heard Savage coming. He stormed in and pulled her against him.

"Karma your not going to like this, I have taken your father and the assailant in for questioning. What I over heard, and the lack of response to my questions have led me to believe something more then just an attack took place. I have sent for Sage as well at the very least if shes not involved then she can help support you." Savage explained. "I am so sorry this is going on. Karma pushed away from him and turned to look at the trees.

"What do you mean? My father would never hurt me. I don't understand. I Want to talk to him." Karma stammered.

"I heard the aggressor say you were suppose to be given to him after your first shift. I think the man is a rouge. I will talk to them and if its safe, I will allow you to speak to your father, I promise my dove." Savage explained pulling her back into his arms. A few minutes later the guards came in and bowed to the two of them.

"Alpha they have been detained in separate cells away from each other as requested as for the female shes on her way. We will get the interrogation room ready for you and the Luna." He said quietly. "Was there anything else you or the madame needed?" He asked.

"Thank you Robin, very well. We will be down when we have spoken to Sage." He said in a very stern boss type tone. He waived his hand and the guards left promptly. "My dove, Sage just pulled in let us go and greet her." Savage said leading Karma to the door. A guard opened the door and let Sage in. She looked terrified and so confused. This led Savage and Karma to think she knew nothing about the incident. But they wouldn't know until they questioned her. "Hello Sage, I wish we had called you here for better reasons. Let us go to the lounge and have a drink and talk." Savage said ushering the women to the sitting room. He told the bar keep what to pour then set his attention on Sage. Do you know any thing about my dove being promised to another?" He said cutting straight to the point. Sages face went pale.

"Absolutely not my Alpha!" Sage said in total Shock. Savage explained exactly what he heard to Sage and watched her reactions closely. He would know if he was being lied to. "I have no knowledge of this! This is deeply upsetting." Sage said looking from Savage to Karma and back again. "I swear my alpha I would have told you from the start." She pleaded.

"It's alright Sage, I believe you." Savage said watching her instantly react. "I will be questioning Tom and the man who attacked them. Do you think he might be more comfortable speaking to you first?" He asked folding his hands in his lap. Sage took a drink along with Karma.

"Maybe alpha, I don't see why he wouldn't talk to you, this whole thing doesn't make sense." Sage said confused. Savage nodded in agreement then looked over at Karma. He could tell she was fighting tears. It pained him to see her hurting. He would get to the end of it and find the truth. Then do whatever was needed to make her safe.



PART FIVE

The cells were dim, and musky. They were made with silver bars so the prisoner was unable to shift in cell. Savage told a guard to fetch Tom and they went into a room that paralleled the interrogation room. There was a window into the room on the other side.

Karma paced back and forth as she watched savage sit and wait for her father to be brought in. She was so confused. What was her father up to, why did her and Sage not know about it. She thought they had always been honest with each other. If he made some deal with a rouge and kept it from her she would never forgive him. Was this why she was never told she was a wolf?

"Karma, please relax, I am certain he has a good reason. He loves you." Sage said trying her best to comfort Karma. Just then Tom walked into the room where Savage sat. Tom's eyes dropped immediately. He was sat across the table and hand cuffed to it. The girls watched intently as Savage began.

"Tom, do you know where you are?" Savage began.

"Yes Alpha, I'm in the cells under the pack house." Tom stated quietly never lifting his face.

"Do you know why you're here?" Savage continued.

"Not entirely, I was attacked in my home then you showed up. I don't understand how you knew I was in trouble." Tom said still in a daze.

"I didn't know, me and Karma were on a run, she heard you I went to investigate for her." Savage said.

"Karma heard me? She was there?" Tom said shocked. Sage and Karma looked at each other. "Where is she now? Is she safe?" Tom said almost in a panic. Savage assured him she was safe then continued.

"Who was he man who attacked you and why?"

"I Don't know."

"Do not lie to me Mr. Calhan. It wont end well. Who was he And why does he want Karma?" Savage said barely hiding the anger that was bubbling up inside.

"I can't tell you?." Tom started. He was promptly silenced.

"I will get the answers from one of you believe me. And it won't go over well with either one how I get my answers, so I suggest you tell me." Savage snarled when Tom refused to answer him again. He stormed from the room and went to the women. "Sage, I need you to try and get the information from him please." Savage said. Sage nodded and went into the room. Tom's eyes widened when he saw her then dropped again in shame.

"Sweetheart. Please talk to me, whats going on?" Sage said in a tone of hurt and concern. "You need to tell me I only want to help."

"I can't. I'm so sorry love. I didn't think it would ever get this far." Tom said lowering his head again.

"What do you mean?" Sage said going to him. She knelt down in front of him. "Tom you know damn well you can talk to me. If you don't I'm done, I will leave you." Sage said biting back tears. "What about Karma? What about your daughter, shes in danger because of you! Make it right, talk to me." Sage pushed. Finally Tom lifted his head and looked Sage in the eye.

"You are not going to like it." He said. "That mans name is Miles, Miles Kingston. He is the right hand wolf to the leader of the rouges." Tom said. Sage's face went pale and she backed away from him."After Lana was killed I was in a bad place. I went to Jasper the Alpha of the rouges, asked for help in proving our alpha guilty in Lana's death. He said he would do it for a price. That price was Karma's hand in marriage after she shifted to prove she was a wolf, I reached out the night she was going to shift for the first time after I saw her. Not only was she wolf, but an Alpha breed. The most beautiful alpha breed. The rouges think she the reincarnation of the moon goddess her self." Tom said. "Then our Alpha appeared, I tried to ward him off, but a bond was instantly forged.

"So what now? This could send us back into war!" Sage yelled. "I m finished with you! This is unforgivable. You selfishly put the whole pack at risk not to mention your child!" Sage said then stomped out. She was met by Karma and she went to her. "I am so sorry Karma!" Sage said as the tears rolled down her cheeks. Savage ordered Tom to be returned to his cell. Then decided that was enough for the ladies and had them escorted back upstairs. He wanted to talk to the rouge. He sent his guard for the man then sat at the table. A few moments went by then the man was seated across from Savage who sat calmly with his hands folded in front of him on the table.

"So Miles, is it? I have some questions for you and you would be wise to answer them honestly." Savage said in an icy yet crisp tone. Mile sat back.

"Of course you do, you will find I am an honest man, as I have nothing to lie to you about Alpha." Miles responded.

"First Why did you attack Tom Calhan?"

"He failed to follow through on a promise to my Alpha. My Alpha ordered me to? lets say, persuade him not to slack any farther." Miles said matter of factually.

"What was the promise?" Savage pressed.

"He betrothed his daughter to him after her first shift they were supposed to get married yet here she is with you, My Alpha is rightfully upset. "

"She knew nothing of the agreement she has a say in her life. She wishes to be with me her true mate." Savage said.

"You will have to take him up on that yourself." Miles retorted. "I was just following orders."

"I Will send your Alpha a message. Until then you are staying here." Savage stated as he stood to leave.

"That's your decision but my alpha won't like it. "Miles said as he was taken back to his cell. Savage shook his head. This Alpha was messing with the wrong pack. He needed to get back to Karma now. He would ask more questions later. He headed up to the main floor and found Karma sitting cradling Sages head in her lap.

"Is Sage alright?" He asked as he walked over. ''She is more then welcome to stay in the guest room." Sage nodded and before she could stand, Savage had picked her up and started carrying her to the quest room. Sage tried to protest but Savage went on any way. Karma followed them and when Savage entered the room she ran around him and pulled the covers down. Savage set Sage down gently and let Karma tuck her in. They closed the door and Savage instructed a guard to keep an eye on Sage. They walked quietly to their room. Once behind the closed door Karma headed into the bathroom to shower. Savage waited until the water was on to follow her in he perched a hip up on the counter and watched as she undressed. Karma stepped into the shower before he spoke.

"My dove, are you alright? I can't imagine whats going through your head right now." He said with a sad tone. He waited a moment for a response. A few minutes went by and he had thought she was thinking until he heard the quiet sob. He yanked the shower door open to find her leaning against the wall sobbing under the hot water. He stripped and got in behind her. He turned her towards him and pulled her in close to his chest. Savage stood there just stroking her hair for a moment.

"Savage, how could my father have done this! First he doesn't tell me I'm a wolf, then we find him tied up by a rouge wolf member and learn he promised me to the alpha of the rouge wolves! He is a traitor!" Karma sobbed. He didn't know how he should react. It hurt him to see her like this, He could also feel her pain.

"My Dove, I have to deal with this appropriately, but seeing as it is your father, I am willing to only banish him, that way he lives."

"You would let him live?" Karma asked. "I heard a few guards talking about him needing to be executed for treason." She said shakily. She looked up at him water and tears running down her face.

"Yes, But if he takes further action against you, I wont have a choice. Do you understand?" He said taking her chin in his hand and planting a firm kiss on her lips.

"I completely understand. Thank you My Love." She said sliding her hands over his wet torso. She was amazed at the fact his breathing hitched at her touch. Did she really effect him like this. She watched him close his eyes as she trailed her fingers over his chest, then down over his abs. He was so perfectly muscled. She gasped when her hand brushed his already hard member. Savage woke up early the next morning and went down to the cells to speak with Tom again. He instructed the guards to fetch Tom then bring breakfast for him and Tom. They nodded and went to do as they were bid. Savage paced the room thinking of the possibilities was stress inducing. A few moments later Tom was sat at the table, Savage went to the other side and sat as kitchen staff entered with coffee and food. He nodded to Tom to eat. He did slowly. Savage poured a large cup of coffee and dished up some eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. The room was quiet for a moment.

"Tom, I need to know what all you kept from Karma. It is pertinent to her safety. In exchange I will let you live, you will lose the safety of the pack, but you will have your life as requested by your daughter. She loves you a lot. She understood the laws and still pleaded for your life you are very lucky to have her as a daughter. Now why did you make a deal with the enemy?" Savage asked taking a sip of his coffee.

"I Thought your father was responsible for my wife's death, I'm still not certain he wasn't. The way he let so many of our pack die," He trailed off when he saw the furious look on his Alphas face.

"So what did you expect? Him to just hand over our lands to the rouge's leader. They would have killed every loyal wolf that refused to name him alpha, then he would have taken all the children and brainwashed them into his cause! Is that what you wanted, utter discontent and fighting." Savage snapped.

"N..No Alpha, I just don't understand why we were left alone against the attacking pack, we were purposely left vulnerable to his attack. That's why Lana was killed, we were left alone, abandoned. I had to go home and tell my seven year old child her mother was never coming home." Tom said slamming a fist into the table. Savage shot up.

"Do not slam your fist at me! For you are on very thin ice!" Savage said through gritted teeth. "Because of you I have two heart broken she wolves to care for. And don't think I didn't catch the blocking gesture in the forest the night we firs saw each other. You can not claim you didn't know it was me. Who were you waiting for Mr. Calhan? Who was supposed to have seen Karma in the trees?" He pushed relentlessly. Since Karma was not with him he felt he could be more aggressive, he had to be, He had to make sure that she was safe.

"Miles, I was supposed to meet miles. Karma wasn't supposed to be there yet." Tom said finally defeated. He slumped in his chair looking at the ground. "You have a traitor in your house, I don't know who, but they now know Karma's here, They might try coming for her. She must be kept safe! She is more powerful then she knows." Tom said weakly.

"I will Keep her safe if its the last thing I do! Don't underestimate me. How do you know that there is a traitor in my pack? Other then you of course." Savage said rudely.

"Miles was on the phone when at my house he told whoever was on the other line to stay out of the way to continue playing their part and not get booted from the pack house. That they would be very useful soon." Tom said. "Where will I go?" He asked when a guard came to take him away.

"I don't care but out of my boarders. You are not to come back unless summoned. Karma will get to keep the house as it is where she grew up. You are not to contact her without prior authorization from me. Do I make myself clear." Tom nodded. "Take him to the river border make sure he leaves." Savage instructed two of his cadets. "Fetch miles he said to the remaining two officers. They nodded and briskly walked back to the cells. A few minutes passed until the guards came back with miles between them. Savage stood as miles struggled against the guards instantly angry.

"What the hell is this! Why are you struggling against my guards?" Savage asked in a growl. Miles didn't respond, so he looked at the guards expectantly.

"We found him trying to escape, Alpha, Hes been rambling on about how he has to get back some where." The younger cadet said pushing Miles into the room. Savage let his face turn to a menacing look, the cadets backed out of the room knowing their alpha was past the point of reason.

"What is the meaning of this Miles, why would you put your self at risk for a much more terrible fate, whats so important?" He asked with a snarl, taunting Miles.

"I have to get back to my alpha or he will think I betrayed him! Let me go!" Miles barked. Savage pined him to the wall in a second. He held Miles by the throat.

"Do not order me around do you think I'm dumb enough to just let you go? " Savage squeezed until Miles squeaked. Then let loose a little so Miles could respond.

"Please, sir you don't understand?." He was cut off again.

"What don't I understand!" Savage yelled in Miles's face. He was quickly losing control.

"Please, he has my wife and son hostage, I bargained getting information from Tom for their release." Savage dropped miles and backed away with a look of shock on his face, was miles telling the truth? He didn't sense any deceit, and miles had been straight forward before.

"Please, let me go back and tell him Tom didn't tell me anything, but I need my family, a wolf is nothing without his family." Miles said hanging his head. Savage thought for a moment, it seemed as if Miles was actually telling the truth.

"Here is what's going to happen, so listen carefully, I am going to send you back with a tracking device and a message for your alpha, if you refuse you rot down here got it!" Savage said leaning against the door. Miles lifted his head in surprise. He had not expected this.

"Wha?..Why are you giving me a chance?" Miles asked skeptically. He sat there watching Savage ponder his response for what seemed like an eternity,

"Because, your right, a wolf is nothing without his family, his pack, I had to take one away today I don't want to take another, So don't disappoint me Miles. If you do you will die." Savage said solemnly.

"I understand Alpha, I see why you are so respected now. Whats the message I will do everything and any thing you ask Alpha." Miles said lowering his head. Savage looked at him , was he actually submitting?

"The message for your leader is that Karma is mine, all attempts to take her if any need to stop in their tracks, I will fight and kill any wolf who tries." Savage said with a growl. "I am also inviting your leader to join me for a treaty talk. The fighting stops here. Now. Do I need to write this down?" Savage asked.

"No. I got it Alpha." Miles said as a cadet entered with a small device. "I will do this with great haste. "You will get a fast answer." Miles continued as the device was placed in his necklace.

"The guards will escort you to the border. Then your on your own, I'm being way more then fair Miles do not fuck it up, understand." Savage barked as Miles was taken to the door.

"Yes Alpha." Miles responded then was whisked out to the border.



Savage went upstairs. It was now early afternoon. He found Karma and sage sitting on the couch talking. They looked up when he entered the room. Karma stood and went to him kissing him softly.

"I want to thank you for caring for me last night Alpha. That must not have been easy considering?" Sage said looking at her hands. Savage looked at her confused.

"What do you mean dear? You did nothing wrong your response to Tom, And you're willingness to help proved that." He said walking over to Sage and taking her hand. "You have nothing to fear from me." Sage looked up at him and teared up.

"Thank you Alpha, you truly are a magnificent leader." She said bowing her head in respect.

"You are very welcome, as long as you are so close to my dove you are welcome here ok?" Savage said softly. Sage nodded and smiled.

"Okay! So who wants to run!" Karma said jumping up and bolting for the side door to the gardens. She was giggling the whole way. Sage jumped up and ran after her laughing, and Savage was close behind. They shifted on the run as they hit the tree line and booked it around trees. They stopped at the creek where Karma first shifted and drank water. Then Karma pounced on Sage, rolling around, they wrestled like pups. Savage watched protectively. He could see that a very special bond was being formed here. It was heart warming to see Karma so happy.

Suddenly Karma stopped and whipped her head to the west and sniffed. Without warning she took off faster then any normal wolf had gone before. Savage and Sage struggled to keep up with her they lost sight of her at the river border. But they followed her sent. Savage was very worried when he realized that she had blindly ran across the safe zone and was now in rogue territory. He signaled to sage to get back to the safe zone. She reluctantly obeyed. He continued to track her sent.

Karma didn't understand why, but she was following a scent that called to her just as strongly as Savages. Was that even possible? All she knew was this scent was calling to her and she felt like it was in danger. An unusually dominant, protective energy took over as she burst through the trees into a clearing where a snow white wolf with green eyes was stuck in a trap. She snarled at the men who were approaching and leapt between them and the trapped wolf. The men gasped in fear at her size, She was the largest wolf any human had seen. She snapped her jaws at them and the hair on her back was raised. The men became even more fearful when Savage appeared next to her. They tossed down their weapons and ran.

Karma turned and faced the terrified white wolf. She stared into her eyes and felt the fiery sensation start in her bones. She stood there motionless and with eyes that could haunt the soul. The white wolf began to falter getting sleepy. Finally it slumped to the ground exhausted. Savage stared in disbelief. He had never seen a wolf power in person before, only heard stories about it. They gathered the weapons, freed the white wolf and got her onto Karma's back and were headed back to the safe zone just in time, more men were coming they could smell them.

Sage was pacing the side yard chewing her nails. She sighed I relief when Karma was in view. It quickly Turned back into concern when she saw the white wolf Karma was carrying. They shifted and dressed. Karma dragged the white wolf into the shade then sat next her, checking her for injury. Savage took that moment to tell Sage what he had witnessed. They were pulled from their conversation when Karma started to speak to the wolf in front of her.

"It's okay, your safe look at me, yes good job." Karma said so sweetly the white wolf wasn't afraid. She lifted her head and then placed it in Karma's lap. "There you go, shh. There you go, it's all right" Karma said grabbing a towel and covering the woman up. She was gorgeous. The woman was tall and had jet black hair that made Karma feel like she was looking at pure obsidian. Savage came up next to Karma and knelt down to the while wolf's level. As soon as his eyes met the white wolf a static like energy exploded through them. It felt like the world disappeared and the three of them were the only things on earth.

When the world righted it's self, the three of them continued to stare at each other. Karma realized that she felt stronger now and she could mind link both savage and the white wolf together. Sage watched amazed then Karma, Savage and The lone wolf stood and seemed to fit so perfectly together it was unbreakable. Sage slowly lowered her head in respect as she had felt the connection as it hit.

Savage had heard of there being wolf couples bonded with more then one wolf at a time, but had never seen it before. He would die for these two females, He decided that then and there. Karma looked at Sage then mind linked her.

"This is Yara, She was caught in a snare trap set by humans. They are hunting." Karma said and the authority, confidence, and danger in her vice sparked Savages Haze. He helped Sage get her into a medical room. Then he almost dragged Karma to their room. "SAVAGE! Sage might needy help." Karma said trying not to show that the Haze had found her as well. "Baby we have a wounded woman in there." karma moaned out as he kissed her neck. Savage grinned in her neck when she moaned and let her head fall back. He growled aggressively. That pushed Karma into a frenzy. She kissed him roughly and arched into his hands.

He caressed her breast's and kissed down her body then went and picked her up with her back to his chest, he sat on the edge of the bed so she straddled his legs that were spaced apart. Karma sat, her legs open in his lap, her head on his shoulder. He caressed a breast squeezing and rubbing it while he rubbed between her legs making her moan in his ear. Savage closed the door then read the note. Instant fury boiled up and he dressed and stormed from the room.

Karma paced back and forth. When she had woken up, Savage was no where to be found. She decided to go check on Yara. Sage stood and lowered her head in a bow to Karma, then faced Yara on the bed. She was sitting at the edge of the bed with her long legs criss crossed in front of her. The sheets covered a lacy night gown that sage had put her in. Yara smiled and Karma was entranced. She went and sat at the edge of the bed facing Yara. Sage Pulled a chair up and pulled them out of the trance.

"Karma what is going on here? You and savage seem to be acting weird.

"I don't know sage it feels just like when I saw Savage." Karma responded. Just then Yaras voice broke through. It was soft and sexy almost a natural whisper.

He needs stopped and we need the true Alpha and Luna to Show themselves." She continued looking them both in the face. You are going to have to learn fast. Because if we go to war we need as much strength as we can get.

"I will be stronger then them." Karma responded confidently. "I want to know more about this double soul bond you were talking about." Savage sat down and looked at Yara waiting for her to explain. He was glad this was coming from another woman. And he wanted to know if what they knew about it was the same or not.

"First we need to do a welcome party for you and Yara as new members into the pack. Then we put you two to work and take it from there." Savage said. "A party is what we need right now I think. Karma why don't you and Yara and sage plan it I will tell the pack to be here this weekend okay." Karma and Yara left to find sage. Savage went to his office and started making calls.

Karma and Yara found Sage in the gardens. She was sitting on a bench staring into the flowers. She jumped startled by karma's voice. Karma explained the event and plans for the weekend excitedly. She stopped and looked into sages sad eyes.

They just sat there a moment then Karma perked up."we get to plan the welcome party for Me and Yara. How do we do this Sage?" Karma bubbled. Sage smiled and tried to lift her mood.

"So Yara.." Sage began she was going to play twenty questions make sure she was not going to hurt her Luna or Alpha. First you have to pass my questions. To prove you are honest and trust worthy." sage said turning in her seat to face Yara. Yara squared her shoulders and looked Sage in the eyes. "What Pack do you swear to?" Sage asked getting serious.

"I swear loyalty to the Celtic Moon pack. To it's members, Alpha, and Luna, I swear to abide by their laws, rules, and wishes with pride and strength." Yara stated confidently.

"Great answer! Now Why did you leave your pack, how did you come to be trapped?'' Sage asked taking the question deeper.

"I am not part of a pack I was a lone wolf, I was being chased by humans and got caught, Our Luna saved me. I owe her my life." Yara responded looking at Karma with a look of great gratitude. Sage thought a moment,

"Do you know what the significance of a three way bond is? Are you willing to take on the tasks and obligations it represents? Are you willing to stand in front of the entire pack and swear it?" Sage asked. Yara thought a moment She had been solo for so long. She was worried she might mess things up. But she was willing to do anything that meant she could stay with her mates.

"Great now yow just have to do that in front of the whole pack Yara. For what it is worth I think you will do fine." Sage said happily. Now you three are going to have to meet with the counsel and prove the bond to them, This three way soul bond is so rare it has to be proven to the elders. She stood shocked, because the person who stood between her and her mates was no other then Tom, her father. At that moment Sage showed up in the door way frantic.

"Karma, Savage, hurry the house is under attack!" Sage said. There was the sound of snarls and breaking glass as Savage shifted into human form. He ordered a cadet to lock Tom up. "We will deal with my father later together." Karma said rushing out the door and down the stairs. She shifted back into wolf form and tackled a rogue wolf that was terrorizing a girl from the kitchens. She snarled in his face biting his neck and shaking him aggressively. He Whimpered and then went limp. She then pounced on a man who had managed to corner sage with a blade. He spun around and advanced on Karma, but suddenly hit the floor when sage hit him over the head with a vase. Savage had taken care of two more wolves before a howl sounded from somewhere in the trees and those who could retreated and ran away.

"What the hell was that!" Karma asked still seething.

"I have no idea, But bet I am going to find out right now!" Savage said enraged. He stormed out of the kitchen and down the stairs to the cells. He burst into the cell where Tom was being held, and grabbed him by his neck. "What the hell is the meaning of this! I Was very clear you were no longer a member of this pack! How dare you, further more you went after my mate!" Savage raged. Karma and Yara rushed in and pulled Savage off Tom.

"Please Savage, let me." Karma said. "I will do this properly take him to the room. Savage nodded and took Tom to the interrogation room. She was right behind them. She was rolling up her sleeves when Savage And Yara set him in a chair. "Thank you, dear." Karma said touching their shoulders I will take it from here. They acknowledged and went to the observation room. They were not going to miss this chance of watching Karma find her dominance and confidence. Karma asked taking the chair opposite Tom.

"I have to get you away from here, I knew you would not leave willingly, the whole pack felt the explosion of energy, they know you have double bonded. They feel your strength, some want it for themselves, They want you to be theirs bonded or not. I was going to hide you.."

Tom sputtered surprising Karma with the request. "Alone." Tom then shut down and looked at the table. Karma stormed out and went to the observation room. Yara stepped over to Karma and placed her hands on karma's shoulders. Karma looked at Yara, her eyes glowing with rage.

"Karma breath, deep breaths. Savage put your hand on her other shoulder we have to calm her down now!" Savage did and was amazed by the pure energy that was emanating from her. "Come now Sweetheart breath and relax." Yara said soothingly."Karma baby it is ok, your safe." Savage said he had never seen this power before. In this moment he knew without a doubt she was the Alpha of Alphas. The one to unify them all. Karma took a deep shuddering breath then began to relax. She swayed a bit as the energy waned. Once she was settled in a chair that Savage brought her, he went into the room with Tom. He was going to get to the end of this now.

"Tom, I thought that I made it clear you were not welcome here. Not only did you come back, you attacked my mate." Savage said eerily calm. Tom shifted in his seat. "Why did you do it?" savage asked bringing a chair over and sitting directly in front of Tom. Tom looked at him with disgust.

"Because my daughter is in danger, You think you can protect her but you can't. The rogue king is far to strong, and shes to new."

"Who's fault is that, your the one who kept her potential away from her."

"Yes that was my mistake. But you have her distracted with this three way bond bullshit. Do you even know who this other she wolf is? How do you know shes being honest?"Tom said.

"That is not what we are here to discuss. Now tell me why you really came back." Savage ordered.

"Because he has a message for you, He wants you to know he found the tracking device on miles and he is now dead, killed as a pack traitor. And that he will get Karma one way or the other. So you see that's why I did it I knew she would never willingly leave you." Tom said defeated.

"Shes not going any where with any one. I am perfectly capable of protecting her. You will stay locked down her until She decides what to do with you. I am done with you." Savage said as two guards came In and took Tom back to his cell. He then went and told the girls to join him upstairs. He went to the parlor and poured drinks for every one, whiskey. Before he could speak a member of the house staff came in with an envelope sealed for Karma. She took it and looked at it confused. She sniffed it and the smell she got was that of oak and smoke. She looked at Savage then Yara for support they nodded and sat forward towards her. Sage was biting her nails. Karma tore the seal open and unfolded the paper to read the message.



"Dear Karma,

You do not know me, my name is Rauph, I am the leader of the rogue wolves. you may think I am cruel and dangerous, But that's because you don't know The truth. You will know it soon enough for I have excepted Your Alphas request for a meeting. I assure you it will be done safely, no tricks. At least on my end. I will be on my best behavior, but please be aware if anything moves to harm me I will defend myself accordingly. Lets talk terms for peace. Karma read the letter out loud then crumpled it up. What was he thinking, she saw through the whole polite trick. She looked up to see both Yara and Savage glaring. Then Yara spoke.

"He will be here tomorrow, Yara if you don't want to see him you can stay in our room while he is here." Savage started but Yara shook her head.

"Okay we will confine him to the parlor at least. Keep the staff at minimal workers as to protect as many as possible?."

"Send them all home I can get us whatever we need karma interrupted.

"We want him and any one he brings along out of here as quickly as possible. So we need to stay on track. Don't offer any non pertinent information. He deserves nothing. Other then that stay safe and be on your toes." He finished. They all agreed then left the parlor.

Sage went to her room and closed the door behind her. She sat on the edge of her bed and pulled her phone out. She quickly texted an unknown number then got ready for bed. But before he could say anything the door bell sounded. He ordered security to take Sage to the cells and keep her away from Tom then he and Yara went to the door to greet their unwanted guest.



Savage and Yara entered the conference room shortly after Raugh had been escorted in. The two security guards that had ushered him in stood vigilant at the door. Before any one could say anything there was a commotion outside. Snarls and screams. Before anyone could react, Karma Barged in covered in blood snarling at Raugh. Before Savage or Yara could react Karma had the Rouge king by the neck pinned to the wall. He tried several times to free himself to no success. Savage was awestruck. This was a true feat of strength. She was officially the strongest wolf he had ever seen, she officially scared and awed him.

Yara went to her first as Savage could not bring himself to move at the power she was radiating.

"Love, please calm down." Yara started but was pushed aside by Karma, who was not willing to listen she and her wolf were enraged past the point of reason. Yara went back to Savages side. What other powers was Karma capable of, She had not even been marked yet and was the most powerful energy that had been seen in a millennium. Savage was about to speak when Karma broke the silence.

Your assassin or what ever is dead, my father will be dead, Sage will be dead, And if you do not submit here today, you will be dead. "And what about those who don't believe in the prophecy, or those how don't wish to follow it? Roughe stated bluntly. "There are those who don't want the ways of the packs to change. They have lived with there wealth and protection to long. And there are those that don't believe that there could be a bond between three wolves." He said earning snarls from the three Alphas in the room.

"Well unlike you trying to force a war we will take the proper steps and precautions to hopefully avoid one. If all that fails, then war it is. Just know that if we go to war then we will win." Savage snapped and stormed from the room. Yara and Karma stood.

"Take him to the cells keep every one separated." Karma commanded as the guards reentered the room.
