In a mountain school, there is a truly remarkable organization-the ROTC Unit. From the very first day of class, you could see that every ROTC officer was incredibly active, as if you could not ever catch them looking tired. They wore their army uniforms, which inspired many to aspire to become advanced ROTC officers.
One day, the ROTC unit opened its ranks for qualifications, recruiting first-year students interested in becoming advanced officers. This is where seven aspiring officers met—five men and two women.
At their first meeting, they did not really know each other or even pay much attention to one another. But after a few days, and eventually months, of being together, they got to know each other. They discovered personalities ranging from punctual and benevolent to genius, nonchalant, shy, and clumsy. But one thing they did not expect was the intense hazing—the harsh name-calling, the constant berating, and the immediate punishment for even the smallest mistake by their senior officers.
One time, during a special formation, their senior officers severely hazed them, making them crawl on the muddy oval, do push-ups, and endure various other punishments. This led Shy Lima to consider quitting, but because of her strong bond with her fellow recruits and the advice of her bansmates, she ultimately decided against it.
Benevolent Papa was often scolded for talking back and defying their senior officers, even though he was innocent. Genius Charlie was also frequently reprimanded for his rebellious nature. Punctual Papa, however, was rarely scolded by his seniors and was often the one to receive their blows. Nonchalant Oscar remained quiet on the sidelines, enduring everything without complaint. Little Lima, on the other hand, tended to be clumsy and often do not execute commands properly. But despite the frequent scoldings and hazing from their senior officers, they did not take things to heart, did not dwell on their mistakes, and did not harbor resentment towards their seniors. After each hazing session, they would laugh it off, and if anyone's morale was low, their bansmates would immediately offer support.
Over time, their bond deepened significantly, becoming much stronger than it was initially. Each member is selfless, and they have learned to agree on everything from where to go and what to do, to understanding their seniors' reasoning when someone is absent or makes a mistake.
