In the small village of San Pedro, there lives the family of Andrew and Michael. Andrew and Michael grow up very close to each other.
Even though they are not related by blood, their bond is as close as a sibling relationship. They go to school together, play together, and grow together.
One day, as they were walking to school, because of the muddy and slippery road, Andrew slipped. His fall is very bad to the point that he fractured his leg.
Michael immediately calls for help and brings him to the nearest hospital. Andrew stayed there for 4 days.
After 4 days he came back to school, and from then on, everything changed. He can no longer run and walk like before his injury happened. Some classmates bully him; some distance themselves. Only Michael stayed with him.
One time, one of their classmates approached Michael and asked him “Why do you still stay with Andrew? He’s lame. What’s so good about it to a lame person? ”. But Michael responded, “He’s my friend; of course, I will stay with him,” and he smiled toward that classmate.
He added, “A true friend stays in good times and bad times.”.
Andrew heard what Michael said and felt so much gratitude towards his friend. Almost everyone mocks him because of the way he walks due to his injury, but Michael is always there with him. Helping him and threatening him the same as always
