With time, life has gently taught me a truth that no classroom ever did. Under the same sun that shines on us all, every human being carries both strength and weakness. No one walks this earth complete in every way.
Some people speak with ease—their words flow, filling rooms with confidence and clarity. Others may struggle to speak, yet when they write, their hearts pour onto the page with honesty and power. Some are gifted with the ability to imagine, to originate ideas that challenge the ordinary, while others have the quiet strength to shape those ideas into something real and lasting.
For a long time, I believed and never fell short. But life corrected me. It showed me that strength is not about having it all; it is about knowing what is yours to carry. The moment you stop competing with what others have and start honouring what you have been given, something inside you settles.
I have seen people doubt themselves because they compared their weakness to someone else’s strength. I have felt that doubt myself. Yet I have also seen how powerful a person becomes when they finally accept who they are. When you embrace your strength, no matter how small it may seem, you begin to walk with purpose. You stop apologising for what you are not and start building with what you are.
We were never meant to be everything. We were meant to be something, something meaningful, something true. And when each of us gives the best of our strength, we complete one another in ways we could never do alone.
This is what I have learnt: your strength is not just what you do well. It is what gives your life direction. It is what allows you to stand, even on difficult days, and say, this is what I can offer the world.
My strength is my life. And when I honour it, I honour myself.
