It was a peaceful evning. I was looking outside the window when i noticed a figure who was waving at me. It took me a second to recognized him.
It was him. The person who is holding the key to my heart.
I wasted no time and running outside to meet him. I was so happy that i finally get to meet him. we haven't see each other for almost two weeks as he had to leave for work. I opened the door and saw him standing with his sweet smile on his face.
The smile I miss. The smile that made me fell in love.
He was standing there with his arms opened, waiting for me to embrace him. Like I always do. And I did. I hugged him like there was no tomorrow. I held him in my arms like we haven't see each other forever. How I miss him.
His smell. His warmth. I wish I could stay like this forever.
Out of the blue, he distanced himself. "Baby, I could not stay for long. I just wanna say that I love you. You are the most incerdible thing that has ever happened to me."
I don't know why but hearing him saying that made me cry. "What are you talking about?" Why is he like this?
"Baby, you know what I'm talking about." He said that with his honey smile but his eyes looked sad.
Then, something crossed my mind. Two weeks ago, I sent him to the airport. It was a perfect day. We had our breakfast together, laughing and just happy with each other's present. A few hours later, I got a call.
He left me forever. He didn't get to arrive safely.
I looked at him. He wiped my tears off my cheek. "I love you too, baby."
I managed to say before I heard the sound of car brake and something hit me. I closed my eyes with him as my last view. He was smiling.
Like the first time we met.
