A few weeks before 5th year started there were many Death Eater meetings. These meetings were about how Draco and I will kill Dumbledore by the end of the year. These meetings make me nervous. What if I slip up and freak out in front of the dark lord? I will be shamed for the rest of my life. As long as I'm not killed.

"Esme. You are more trusted in Hogwarts than Draco is. You will find out what Dumbledore knows before you kill him. You both must kill him together. Do not make any mistakes!" Voldemort shouted.

"Yes, my lord." Draco and I said in unison.

The truth is that Draco and I were both afraid of him. He could kill us at any moment. If we mess up, it will be our last time to do anything. We had to find the vanishing cabinet first. It was the most essential thing in our plan. If we were caught, we are to go to the vanishing cabinet and we will come back to Borgin and Burkes.

Once school started, we decided to split up. Draco would find the vanishing cabinet and I would find out what Dumbledore knows. Especially about the Deathly Hallows. Apparently, Professor Dumbledore has the Elder Wand.

"Hey Esme." Mattheo came up to me.

Not many students were Death Eaters. The only student Death Eaters were me, Draco, and Mattheo. Mattheo had to keep an eye on me because I'm known to run to get away from my problems. This was a huge problem.

"Hey Mattheo." I spoke.

"What are you doing after classes?" Mattheo asked.

"I have a meeting with Professor Dumbledore." I replied.

"How about after?" Mattheo asked.

"Not much, I'm probably going to go to my dorm to start my homework if I have any. I probably will since I have my OWLS this year. Why?" I answered.

"Oh. I just wanted to see if you wanted to go out later. But I guess not since you'll probably be busy." Mattheo said sadly.

"I'll definitely go out with you. What time and where?" I said.

"I'll pick you up from your dorm at 5pm." Mattheo smiled.

"Alright, I'll see you later." I smiled back.

Omg! Mattheo Riddle just asked me out? He's the dark lord's son! I just have to tell Pansy! She's gonna freak! I never thought he would ask me out. He's older than me by a whole year. I've had a crush on him since last year, but he didn't really notice me last year.

I heard that Professor Snape is now the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. That means we have a new potions professor. This should be interesting.

Once I got to potions, I met the new potions professor. His name is Professor Slughorn. Apparently, he taught potions when the dark lord was a student here. That's... interesting.

"Good morning 5th years! I am your new professor for potions. My name is Professor Slughorn. I heard we have our youngest Prefect here. Where are you?" Professor Slughorn said.

I raised my hand. Oh god. He's just putting me on the spot. This is nerve wrecking.

"That would be me sir." I said.

"Yes! What is your name young lady?" Professor Slughorn asked.

"Esme Malfoy." I replied.

"Would you happen to be related to Abraxas Malfoy?" Slughorn asked.

"Yes, he was my grandfather." I answered.

"Your grandfather was an excellent potioneer. I hope you are the same Ms. Malfoy." Professor Slughorn said.

I smiled slightly because I had no words. How does he expect me to be exactly like my grandfather. My father was nothing like him. He could barely brew a Wiggenweld potion. Like that's the simplest potion to brew. I hope I really am like my grandfather. I'm on my way to head girl. I should be able to do this.

"Today you will all brew Draught of Peace. Please open your textbooks." Slughorn instructed.

Little did Slughorn know, the textbook was wrong about many things with brewing. My grandfather kept a journal of potions he brewed and how to brew them correctly. It took about 5 minutes to brew. Thanks to my grandfather's journal, it was extremely easy to brew.

"I'm done Professor Slughorn!" I exclaimed.

"I'm surprised! It usually takes an entire class period for a student to brew it." Slughorn said.

"I'm like my grandfather, just like you wanted." I replied.

"I did want that from you. 50 points to Slytherin!" Slughorn rewarded.

Hopefully this year, I don't lose any points during my first Defense Against the Dark Arts class. 2 years in a row? Now that would just be bad luck. I'm happy that Professor Snape got the position he wanted even though he was an amazing potions professor.

"Good morning 5th years, to Defense Against the Dark Arts. This year you will be learning 6 crucial spells. The Patronus Charm, the killing curse, the Imperius curse, the Cruciatus curse, the boggart-banishing charm, and the disarming charm." Professor Snape said.

It was a long day since I couldn't forget about what I was supposed to do for the dark lord after classes. But finally, classes were over, so I went to talk to Professor Dumbledore.

I went to Dumbledore's office and knocked.

"Come in Ms. Malfoy." Dumbledore said.

I opened the door and entered his office.

"Good afternoon, Professor Dumbledore. I came to see you about something I was supposed to have learned in my 3rd year, but I wasn't here. Professor Binns said that this would be on my OWLS and told me to come see you." I said.

"Ahhh, yes. The Deathly Hallows. You see there are 3. The Elder Wand, the resurrection stone, and the cloak of invisibility. The elder wand is most powerful, and I know you can assume what the other 2 do." Dumbledore explained.

"What happened to the Elder wand?" I asked.

"It's here in Hogwarts. In fact, it's mine now." Dumbledore answered.

"That's fascinating. That's all I needed to know. Thank you, Professor!" I left the room.

I learned all I needed to learn. Merlin's beard! It's 4:30, I need to get ready for my date! I rushed to my dorm room. I decided to curl my hair quickly. I then did my makeup and put on a silk black dress.

"Where are you going that you're getting all dressed up?" Pansy asked.

"Mattheo is taking me on a date!" I answered.

"OMG! FINALLY!" Pansy exclaimed.

"I know right!" I squealed.

"Okay! Borrow my pearl necklace, earing and bracelet!" Pansy told me as she put them on me.

"Thanks!" I said as we heard a knock on the door.

I got up to answer the door.

"Have fun!" Pansy smiled.

"Thanks! I will!" I smiled back.

I opened the door and I saw Mattheo with a black suit. Like Merlin, he looked good in that suit. He stared at me with amazement.

"Hey." I smiled at him.

"Hey gorgeous." He smiled back and gave me chocolates and a teddy bear.

"Aww, you didn't have to!" I smiled

"Your brother told me that these are your favorite." Mattheo said.

"Pansy take put these on my desk!" I threw the chocolates and teddy bear to her.

I then close the door and Mattheo held my hand. My first date! I can't believe it! And with Mattheo? It's a dream come true! He took me to a fancy restaurant in Hogsmeade. It had chandeliers and everything! I absolutely loved it!

"So, do you like it?" Mattheo asked.

"I absolute love it!" I answered with excitement.

"I'm glad you like it!" Mattheo smiled.

That was an extraordinary night. I loved every second of it. Mattheo makes me feel like nobody else has before. He makes me feel like I'm the only girl in the world.

A few months has passed since mine and Mattheo's first date. We're actually dating now. Our parents know about this also. They're completely supportive of us as long as we get the mission done. Draco found the vanishing cabinet which is great sand we have all the information we need. We can kill Dumbledore, but I told Dray to wait a bit so we can at least complete our OWLS.

"Hey Esme!" Astoria said while walking up to me.

"Hey Astoria. What's up?" I said.

"I have to tell you something." Astoria said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"How would you feel if I liked your brother?" Astoria asked.

"I guess I'd be fine with it why?" I asked

Astoria didn't answer but then realization hit me.

"You like Draco!!!" I exclaimed.

"Shhhh! Don't say it out loud! I haven't told him yet!" Astoria said.

"I'm completely supportive of this. Honestly, I've always shipped you guys. You would be the cutest couple like ever!" I said.

"Aww, thanks Es." Astoria hugged me.

"Of course." I hugged her back.

I hope she tells him that she likes him. I miss that stage of a relationship. Mattheo is always "hanging with the boys now". We basically never hang out anymore. It's so annoying.

I saw Mattheo in the hall. He came up to me.

"Hey babe. Do you wanna go to The Three Broomsticks later?" Mattheo asked.

"Sorry babe. I'm hanging with the girls later." I replied.

"Now you're doing that to me?" Mattheo said.

"Yea, I am." I turned around and started to walk away when Mattheo grabbed my wrist and pulled me in for a kiss.

"Are you going to hang out with the girls later or are you coming to The Three Broomsticks with me?" Mattheo asked again.

''I'm going to The Three Broomsticks with you." I smiled.

I don't know what happened. It's just whenever he kisses me, I'm mesmerized. I can't help it. I was never actually going to hang with the girls anyway. It was just a lie so I could annoy him.

When I got to The Three Broomsticks, I saw Mattheo waiting for me in a booth. I walked over to him and sat in front of him.

"So, I bet your wondering why I asked you to come here." Mattheo said.

"Yeah, I am." I replied.

"So, you know how we're almost done with the mission. All we have to do is kill Dumbledore." Mattheo said.

I nodded.

"Well, I saw screw the mission. Let's get out of here and start a life together." Mattheo said.

"I know we're too young but."

Mattheo pulled a ring out. "Esme Narcissa Malfoy, will you marry me?" Mattheo smiled.

"Yes! I will!" I started crying.

Mattheo and I stood up and kissed. Mattheo put the ring on my finger.

"There's only one problem..." I said.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I can't just leave my family here, with your father. Especially not Draco. We have to finish the mission. We have to stand by our parents, I know my mother will get us out of there if we tell her. We know that your dad plans to eventually attack Hogwarts. My mom won't let Draco and I to be a part of it. She'll get us out of there and then we can live our lives together." I said.

"Alright. Well, we should get back to the castle." Mattheo said.

We walked back to the castle. Mattheo walked me back to my dorm.

"Night princess." Mattheo said.

"Night." I smiled.

He kissed me goodnight.

I unlocked my dorm and opened the door to find Pansy wide awake waiting for me.

"Tell me all the details!" Pansy said.

"Well... he proposed!" I exclaimed.

"But you guys aren't old enough to get married." Pansy said.

"I know, he just proposed. We're not getting married until we're both 18." I said.

"He'll be 18 in 2 years while you'll be 18 in 3. That's 3 years Es." Pansy said.

"We'll wait Pans." I said.

"What if you guys aren't together anymore?" Pansy said.

"We will be." I looked away and changed.

"How do you know that?" Pansy asked.

"I don't know. I just do." I answered.

I climbed into bed and fell asleep since I have my OWLS in the morning.

When I woke up, Pansy was already gone. I got ready and went to the Great Hall for breakfast. I saw Mattheo and went to sit next to him. When I sat down, he kissed me.

"Morning princess." Mattheo said.

"Morning!" I replied.

"Ready for your OWLS?" Mattheo asked.

"Not really. I hope I'm able to become an auror." I said.

"You will be, I promise." Mattheo reassured me.

I smiled and started to eat my food when I saw Draco and Astoria together. They walked to our table and sat across from us. They were holding hands!!! They're a cute couple. I'm guessing that this means that Astoria confessed to Draco.

"You guys are a cute couple." I said.

"Thanks Es." Draco said.

"Of course! So, this means you guys are a couple." I smiled.

"Yea we are." Astoria smiled.

"Well I gotta go. Remember I have owls. This will be you next year Tori." I got up and kissed Mattheo one more time before I left.

"Good luck!" They all said in unison.

It was a long 7 hours of OWLS testing. I literally got 12 OWLS which is the maximum number of OWLS you can take. I guess that means I'm really smart. I hope this means I can be an auror.

Once the OWLS were over Theo and Blaise came to surprise me at my dorm. The sign said, "CONGRATS TO OUR FUTURE AUROR!!!" It was the cutest thing ever. I gave them both a hug. Pansy had obviously let them into our dorm.

"Aww thanks you guys." I smiled.

"Of course! We know you're going to be an amazing auror." Theo said.

"Yea, you're going to send the man with no nose to Azkaban for eternity." Blaise said.

I started laughing because they called him "the man with no nose". I mean they're not wrong. He doesn't have a nose. It creeps me out when we have dinner at home.

The end of the year was nearing, so we had to finally complete our mission. We had to kill Professor Dumbledore... I've been dreading this for the past few months.

We went to his office to "speak to him". Draco and I started to break down because we were afraid of what was going to happen if we didn't do this which is when we showed Dumbledore the dark mark. That's when Aunt Bella and the other Death Eaters came into the room.

"Do it! It doesn't matter which one of you do it! Kill him!" Aunt Bellatrix said.

"Expelliarmus!" Draco exclaimed.

Draco disarmed Dumbledore. I grabbed the Elder Wand which is when Professor Snape and Mattheo came into the room. Professor Snape was the only teacher who was a Death Eater. Professor Snape aimed his wand at Dumbledore.

"Avada Kedavra!" Snape exclaimed. He had used the killing curse on Professor Dumbledore.

I had begun to cry but Mattheo wrapped his arms around my waist consoling me. He had stopped me from crying before the other Death Eaters noticed. Just then, I heard a sound coming from below.

"NOOOO!!!!" shouted Harry Potter.

The chosen one had seen it all. We had to get out of there which is when Draco led Mattheo and I to the vanishing cabinet. We entered and thought of where we wanted to go. We all went to Borgin and Burkes. We were safe for now...
