Long ago, during the Steel age there was a great war between humans and demons because the demons wanted to return to the surface world. The humans refused their request. Then the demon's fury began a war in which thousands on both sides were slain. When the war ended the humans and demons lived in peace on the surface to avoid conflict. This was an amazing event? but when a demon and a human fell in love, two children were born? Uppercase, Who had lots of emotion and great strength from birth, And lowercase, who was emotionless and weak, these two children were a human demon combination, the first angels, the angels of light and dark. While Uppercase was worshiped, lowercase was shunned into hiding with books and scythe-training as his only friends. Eventually, his demonic mother came to realize what had happened but instead of helping lowercase, she praised Uppercase. Ah yes, maternal instincts.
Lowercase would continue training, becoming the best scythe wielder ever. He fought in many wars and won every time. He was still emotionless and was hated. He never did make a stand for himself and was slain in another great war between humans and demons. He was later reincarnated as a full demon instead of an angel. He had caring parents this life and still had angelic power just this time he couldn't have angelic privileges not that he was allowed to use them anyway. "This time," he thought, "This time i'll be praised for my bravery and skill!" And so lowercase trained even harder in this life to make his name known to the world! He failed to put it bluntly? as soon as he came of age he got summoned to become a familiar at a human academy! "Oh no," he thought as he trudged home "I'm going to hate this!"
