Having escaped from the post-meridian time, 8:45, I think I won't be muddy mad again!
If love was made to haunt me from every corner of the global village __, let me think about writing a dead's deed earlier, because I won't be solid enough to resist its forces!
"Ring..., ring, ring....; Hello!" the phone reported, and its 'hello' traveled like a bazooka!
"Who's this?!" I asked.
"William, here at plot 19 Nabugabo Street, the Lane's on fire, your Lane, your Lane....., hurry up, hurry please.....!" he acknowledged it.
I didn't take the time to hear the words 'Lane' or 'plot 19,' but I just heard the name 'Allen'; a beautiful young teen who used to travel with her mom to the capital plaza to attend their beautiful boutique.
I dropped a mopping rug down (as I was busy cleaning a room alongside the Mini Price Lane), staggering to the stairs, desheathing my sandals from my feet!
Knocking down the street's roadside businesses, which were on the nearby walls but with weak stands or support!
Had I been an airplane, I should have taken off because I hurriedly entered Nabugabo Street, crossing the clean road like a lunatic.
As I was crossing the road, a fire brigade flashing red lights bypassed me with the speed of a healthy deer!
I could run; I could breathe worse enough, symbolizing a remanded person waiting for a judgment!
I knocked a man who was from his workshop and a lady who was serving fried fish to her customers!
I didn't stop; I didn't bother saying any sorry to them!
I increased my speed with irresponsible steps, entering the open big gate of plot 21, where the 19-year-old young lady was living.
"Walalalalaaa..., a thief, a th..ie...f, is here, help me please..." Allen's father was alarmed.
I stopped, breathed like an evening satisfied bull!
I sat on the couch; men and women surrounded me, shouting, "A thief, a thief... walalalalaaa...a thief..."
"I'm not a thief, Allen is burning", I pleaded.
This statement didn't leave the angry people in a nodding acquaintance but rather forced them to drop their unlawful weapons.
"Allen is burning..., Allen is burning.." I collapsed.
"Oh...! Allen, come out, come out please, hurry up and this this!!" Allen's mom emphasized, and this compelled her daughter to enter the puzzled multitude of their neighbors.
"Mummy, this man dwells at plot 19; what is he saying?!" Allen asked.
"'Mbu,' Allen is burning!" Allen's Dad replied.
"No! Oh no..., first give him the first aid for our baby, Mum; Dad, neighbours.., look! A cloud of dark smoke, lofting to the pinnacles of the sky... from plot 19 where he lives! Please..., save him; he is an innocent, fatigued, handsome man!" Allen compassionately reported, hence forcing all the people around to look at the sky of plot 19, and the bells signifying the presence of the fire brigade were being heard.
I regained energy, thanked Allen and her family for such a courageous heart they had shown me and then rushed to plot 19, where my residence was, meeting William and Peter, my roommate, wondering where I was when our plot 19 was in the torment of fire!
It was around 11 pm when the nice-looking Allen came to check whether my residence was not burned out, and I just sang to her as below:
Allen, you're not an alien Allen,
you're beautiful on the Lane
Allen is useful like the rain
Allen's always on my brain.
Having finished singing that song to her, she said, "Whom are you singing for...?!
I'm a student, I can't mix your love and my books!"
I didn't sleep well for the whole night, thinking of Allen's concise beauty, which had turned into a hobby for me in terms of vision..., but as for the life of a jail after being caught seducing a schoolgirl like her, I just closed the chapter for Allen, and I stopped looking at her in an admiring mood!
