"If I had it, don’t you think I would’ve said so? What reason would I have to lie? What you see is all I’m left with. Or was I expected to cater to everyone again, like I always do? I’ve done it before with the little I had. And what did I get in return? Nothing but silence. Who remembers me when I’m down? All I receive is a painful reminder that, indeed, I have nothing.”
He said this quietly, with a calm voice, yet his face revealed the weight of his anger and disappointment. With everything that’s been happening lately, he can't help but feel guilty, as if somehow he is the cause.
But is he?
He has every reason to feel this way—judging by the pattern of events unfolding around him. Every evening, he sits alone in reflection, his thoughts racing. Perhaps he's wondering why everything falls apart just when it seems like it's finally coming together.
Does he deserve all this?
His mind runs swiftly—from one thought to the next—with no time to rest. Despite everything he’s doing and trying, it all feels meaningless. No one shows appreciation. Instead, what he receives is a sense of obligation: "He must... he owes us." No words need to be spoken; the actions say it all.
What a pity this boy, constantly stretched between what he gives and what he’s denied.
Was he manipulated before? Perhaps. He rarely makes decisions he doesn't later regret, but now, something feels different. What really happened?
He doesn’t want to talk about it. No one around him is truly ready to listen—or offer comfort.
Moving around hasn’t been a solution. He’s searched high and low for the things he lacks, but all he encounters are doors that close before he can even knock. What about his lifelong desires? Will he ever truly win in this life?
There’s so much to carry. So much to process. And he’s tired. Deeply tired. But every day, he still chooses to try.
"I’ve got dreams, a life to live, and a purpose to fulfill. Life is an everyday lesson. And even though it’s hard, I’m still willing to learn."
