Emotional dependency and fear of loss between both of them unknowingly tied together. If realized this is greatest strength that will always keep them together. This point is beautifully captured ‘difficult conversation still exists’ but they know they never wanted to lose each other again! Sometimes with a long arguments but either would realize that the poisonous words spit is not enough to beat the love he/she have on each other - forgiveness trust - thus they continue to live together..
