A VOW

“The Promise” is a touching and endearing story about two inseparable friends, Mia and Zoe, who are going through issues of change and distance between them. Set in the pulsating city of Riverdale, the story probes their strong connection that gets strained when Mia enrolls at a university in another town. Zoe is upset because despite trying to keep in touch via letters, phone calls, and video chats, she still feels lonely and has her own battles. The plot takes an emotional twist when Mia visits Zoe out of the blue to give her support and consolation. When they meet up in their favorite park for a few hours they rekindle their relationship by promising each other that they will always be there for the other person.
