TORTOISE THE BORN AGAIN KING is a satirical fable meant to display and re-enforce the insatiable greed and wickedness of our present day political and religious leaders whose stock in trade are self-aggrandizement and power acquisition. It's didactic nature cuts across political and religious lining. The book portrays how the Tortoise, because of greed for power, employed all sorts of tricks and crafts at its disposal to lure all the animal and bird kingdoms into submission to it's whims and caprices. In the process, it perpetrates all sorts of atrocities in the name of power and religion which ultimately culminates in its shameful death! A big lesson for our present day politicians and religious leaders especially those in Africa and other climes where the poor masses are being exploited and dehumanized daily by self-serving leaders.
