The Lion and The Pathan
In the rugged hills of the North-West Frontier, a brave and honorable Pathan named Gul Khan encounters a lion while returning from the forest. Instead of running, he faces the lion calmly, ready to fight if necessary. However, he soon realizes the lion is injured and not looking for a fight. Showing compassion, Gul Khan tends to the lion's wound with herbs and care, risking his own life to help the wild animal. The lion allows him to help and walks away peacefully after being treated. From that day on, the lion is occasionally seen watching over the hills but never harms anyone. Gul Khan becomes a legend, not for defeating the lion, but for healing it—earning respect as a man of both courage and heart.
