“FIRST MEETS ARE GOOD MORNINGS!”
Hmmm could only imagine the mental stress she would be expressing in-between trying to be there for him and making sure he doesn't feel like a burden, really great story.

This left me with a wonderfully uneasy feeling. Dev begins by reaching for the ordinary things he would have shared with Rohan—metro lines, restaurants, games—and that makes his grief feel quietly real before the conversation turns into something much more disturbing. Rohan’s repeated “I pity you” is cruel, but the later image of the forgotten application makes the idea hard to dismiss. I’m not sure the software metaphor answers anything, but it unsettles the question of what being alive means—and Dev waking to find his own hands unfamiliar is a strong final turn.
