Life has a way of throwing us curveballs when we least expect them. One day you're feeling a little off, and the next, you're sitting in a doctor's office hearing words you never thought you'd hear: anemia, liver tear, and kidney problems. That's exactly where I found myself, staring down a path I wasn't prepared for.

I was given medication for a number of days and doctors were quick to recommend surgery for my liver. The idea of going under the knife terrified me. But amidst the fear, a small voice inside me whispered, "Get a second opinion." I took a spirit of faith and called my God in heaven." You are my greatest physician i trust. Heal me for there is nothing too hard for you".

It reminded me of acts 12:5, while peter was in prison, the church was earnestly praying for him.And while i was lying helplessly in hospital bed, the church was praying for me.

A fter some few days and before scheduling the surgery, my doctor suggested one more scan - just to be thorough. I clung to that hope like a lifeline, praying for a miracle. The days leading up to the scan were filled with faith and hope. I imagined the best from my maker, as i held into a sliver of faith.

Then came the day of the scan. I lay there, staring at the ceiling, my heart pounding in my chest. When the results finally came in, I could hardly believe my ears. The scan showed that my liver and kidneys were perfectly healthy. No tear, no damage - nothing that warranted surgery. And my kidney was found in good condition.

I was overwhelmed with relief and gratitude. It felt like a second chance, a reminder that sometimes our bodies can surprise us in the most unexpected ways. Hemoglobin test was done, the Anemia was healed, i had enough blood. With praise and gratitude, i gave thanks to God for standing by my side.

This experience taught me the importance of listening to your body and advocating for yourself. It's easy to feel powerless in the face of medical diagnoses, but seeking a second opinion or additional tests can make all the difference. Trusting my maker and holding onto hope saved me from this surgery.

Today, I'm focusing on my recovery and taking steps to maintain my health. I'm grateful for the support of my family, friends, and doctors who stood by me through this journey. Most of all, I'm thankful for the lesson that even in our darkest moments, there's always room for hope and healing.

If you're facing a health scare, remember GOD, he remembers mercy. Trust your instincts, seek support, and never under estimate the power of a second opinion. Sometimes, the path to healing isn't as straightforward as it seems - and that's okay. Because in the end, miracles do happen.
