Every day, when Titus drove his car, he would see a young boy of not more than 8 years old sell lemonade. At first, he thought that the boy was having fun, so one day, he bought a cup of lemonade and smiled.
The next day, Titus drove along the same stretch of road and saw that same boy still selling lemonade. This scenario continued for the next few days. Curiosity got the better of him, so one day, Titus stopped his car at the side of the road and went to the boy. He asked, "Why are you here every day?" The boy looked down and said, "My father has cancer, and we have spent whatever money we had for treatment. His treatment cost a lot, so I am trying to sell lemonade to raise money for my father's treatment."
Hearing the boy's story made Titus' heart broke. He knelt down and said, "Take me to your father." They went to the hospital, where the boy showed Titus his father, who was lying on the hospital bed, weak. Wasting no time, he took out his bank card, went to the cashier counter and paid for the boy's father's treatment. The boy put his hands together in gratitude and thanked Titus.
Years passed, and Titus had started a family of his own. He had long forgotten about the afforementioned incident. One day, his son Kirk fell unwell and as such, he was rushed to the hospital. There, Titus received shocking news. Kirk needed medical treatment, but it would cost a lot of money. It was the sum that his family could not afford. Just then, a young doctor stepped out. He took out his bank card, went to the cashier counter and paid for Kirk's medical treatment. Titus was surprised at the gesture.
"Why are you helping me?" he wondered. "You don't even know me."
"Do you remember paying for the medical treatment of the father of a young boy many years ago?" the doctor asked. Titus looked at him. "You were that boy?" he asked. The doctor nodded. He then went on about what happened after Titus had paid for his father's treatment back then. With Titus having paid for his father's treatment, he was able to get the medical treatment required and recovered fully. "You not only saved my father, but you also saved my entire family," the doctor said. "Your actions have inspired me to become a doctor, to save lives. So now it's my turn to help you." With his treatment paid for, Kirk eventually recovered. Titus was glad that he had acted kindly back then, and his act of kindness had now come back to him.
