In March 2002, Bisi visited her aunt after a long time, and upon arrival, she noticed a guy who immediately caught her attention. The guy, Nk, seemed charming, and although Bisi was intrigued, her aunt didn't mention that Nk was already in a relationship. After leaving her aunt's place, Bisi missed a call from an unknown number. When she called back, the person on the other end was rude, leading to a heated exchange of words. Later, Bisi learned that the call was from Nk, who had used her aunt's phone. She was embarrassed by her harsh words and regretted her actions.

Despite the awkward beginning, Bisi and Nk ended up becoming close friends, laughing over the incident and forming a strong bond. As they spent more time together, they both developed feelings for each other, but neither was willing to take the risk of dating. They were afraid that if they started a relationship, they might lose the deep friendship they had built. Instead, they decided to stay friends, and both ended up in different relationships, choosing comfort over the unknown. Though their bond remained strong, the "what could have been" lingered as they cherished their friendship while navigating the complexities of their separate relationships.
