Finally the most awaited day came to an end. My best friend's wedding!! Nikita married Aditya, the love of her life!! I'm so happy for her.

A few months back it was a different story.

Nikita was clueless and Aditya was not ready for commitment. I remember when she called me with a broken voice. I rushed to her place and found her crying . I took her out for a walk near the park and witnessed an accident before us. Two guys fell down from the bike they were riding. Neither of them were hurt, but embarrassed because they were checking on us while riding. Lol!! The whole situation was so funny that we could not stop and burst out laughing. The guys ran away. A week later Nikita and I went to a nearby mall. Walking back to her place we felt like we were being followed by someone. When we looked back we saw two guys were running away and then again they started following us again as we moved forward. And this time one of them was coming towards us. They were a little nervous but introduced themselves and then we realized that those were the same guys who fell down from the bike a week before. Soon we became friends. Vicky was flirting with Nikita. To my surprise Nikita also started to flirt with him. As days passed ,Nikita stopped taking calls from Aditya. I was confused by her behavior. She was secretly dating Vicky. And then, last month Nikita broke a big news that Aditya proposed to her for marriage. She was jumping out of joy... I asked her about Vicky and she just told me to shut up!!

Life is so unpredictable!!

Firecrackers bursting out side. The groom is here. I saw the "baarat" From the balcony. Suddenly my heart skipped a beat. I saw Vicky coming dancing along the "baaratee". I told Nikita about that and she was about to cry. I thought I could handle the situation and went to meet Vicky downstairs. Vicky was also surprised to see me. I enquired about his presence in the wedding and got another shock. He said that he is here because it was his cousin brother's wedding. I gulped and asked if he knew who the bride was.. He said that he just saw her picture in the morning while his cousin handed him the phone to call the travel agent to confirm the tickets for their honey moon. And then he winked at me and said "don't worry, I wasn't serious either, I was just having fun. It will be a secret". A sigh of relief !!

After the ceremony Aditya introduced his cousin Vicky to Nikita . Vicky teasingly called her " sister in law" and said welcome to the family!! "

This time Nikita winked at me and showed 2 fingers?

I just covered my mouth to stop the laughter and went away . Oh what a dramatic twist I thought and smiled.

Maya!! A very familiar voice called my name and my heart raced like a wild horse and ached at the same time.
