Prologue: Introduction Before the Part About Time
It began with a single mother and two sons. The names of the sons were Leo, the
older brother, and Edo, the younger brother. Lila, the mother of two, abandoned her
husband Amatsu, who was the king of a nation named Chandion. She wanted to live a
simple life in a simple village, with a small garden and a moderate number of flowers
and crops. The sons, who never got to see their father, only knew stories of him and
never really questioned why their mother had abandoned him. Leo always had a bland
personality and lived a bland life, contrasting with Edo, who was playful and loved
exploration. Edo was a self-proclaimed "number one fighter." They lived a simple life in
the village until Leo did something fun for the first time in his bland and sad life: he
explored the forest and got lost.
Leo wandered through the forest trying to find a way out when suddenly the bandit
chief, Kaine, discovered him. The bandits suggested they should just kill the kid and
move on; however, Kaine wanted to raise Leo as his own son. For the first time in his
life, Leo felt the fatherly love he had never known. Kaine gave Leo a silver revolver as a
gift and taught him to be a great gunslinger. Simadre, Kaine's sister and a naturally
gifted sorcerer, loved Kaine dearly and stayed by Leo’s side. Leo did not know Simadre
was Kaine’s sister; this would be important later in the story. Everything was fine until
Kaine was betrayed by the bandits he led, who were convinced by one traitorous and
insidious member: the red-haired, snake-eyed bandit named Ruby, known for his
underhanded tactics. Ruby yelled for Leo to escape with him.
Running through the trees and the mountains, Kaine and Leo went near a
waterfall. Knowing he was going to be killed regardless, Kaine gave Leo a single bullet.
“I have forced you on the wrong path for too long. The bounty on my head was finally
catching up to me. I want you to make the finishing shot. Doing this will put you on the
right path, making you a bounty hunter. I knew it had to be this way. I saw the insidious
look on that one bandit’s face. This was bound to happen.” Hands shaking, Leo
hesitated for a while, not wanting to kill the person he loved. One loud shot echoed from
the forest; it was done and over with. Leo returned to Simadre with a heavy heart and
decided she would be the one by his side.
Simadre did bounty work with Leo. The two became very well-known bounty
hunters, conducting tasks that they were given. She wanted to end Leo whenever she
got the chance to avenge her brother, not knowing the proper context and reason, while
Leo remained oblivious to this. They had a job for a client who wanted them to find a
gem near a canyon, which was said to be able to change the past if twelve were
collected. While they walked through the canyon and saw the gem on a cliff, the ground
under Simadre collapsed. In a panicked state, Leo jumped down to try and save her.
They both miraculously survived, but Leo was unconscious while Simadre was not.
This was her chance to finally kill Leo. Raising her knife, she was ready to avenge
her brother. However, she hesitated and dropped the knife beside Leo. She walked
away in shame after hesitating, thinking she had disappointed her older brother by
doing so. There was an internal reason for why she had done this. Her happy days were
all a facade, masking the dark reality of her noble family's practices. Her family used to
have a lot of power, wealth, and influence. Though they still had enough wealth to live
comfortably in a sizable house in a nice city, the family's power had waned. Gento, the
middle child; Simadre, the youngest; Kaine, the oldest; Amane, their mother; and
Ashura, their father, lived together. Simadre never felt warmth from her father Ashura,
though he never directly acted cruelly towards her. She sensed something sinister
happening behind the scenes. At times, young, shabby-looking people visited the
mansion, and Ashura's horrifying gaze at them was unnerving. Conversations between
Gento and Ashura always happened privately, discussing “how hard it was to find
people to sell” and “the demand for female laborers.” Simadre remained oblivious to the
enslavement practices they engaged in. Kaine always argued with Ashura about this,
trying to change their ways, while Gento was just as cruel and ambitious as their father,
seeking to regain the family's former power.
Simadre worked as a bartender for quite a while, unaware that this was the very
bar where a marriage proposal would be made. After she refused a marriage proposal
set up by a rich noble named Okura, which was technically an offer to be enslaved, her
mother agreed to sell her daughter to Okura. Her mother began to despise her for
refusing, secretly longing to return to a noble life. Simadre had a natural talent for
magic, impressing her teacher Hojiro, who gave her one of his wands as a sign of honor
and respect. After Kaine decided to live in the forest to separate himself from the family,
Simadre followed him to avoid the forced marriage set up by her parents. After Simadre
had run away, the family slowly began dying out, losing their power and fame they once
hold. The only ones who loved her dearly were her older brother, her sorcery teacher,
and Leo. She could not finish Leo off because he was one of the few people left who
meant something to her. This internal conflict tore at her because Leo had taken Kaine’s
life, whom she loved dearly, but she just could not bring herself to do it. She found the
gem in the pile of rubble after the cliff collapsed. Simadre picked up the gem that she
and Leo were supposed to give to the client and suddenly realized, “All I need to do is
collect the twelve gems and turn back time to end Leo before he could kill Kaine… Yes,
that is it! All I must do is kill him! All this would never happen.” After Leo woke up, he
could not find Simadre anywhere. Desperately digging through the rubble, he tried to
find her, but she was gone. He only found the time gem he was supposed to obtain and
give to his client. He assumed Simadre was dead and decided to find the other
eleven-time gems to save her. He changed his plans and decided not to give the gem to
the client to pursue his own goals. Ironically, Simadre was also seeking the time gems
for the opposite purpose.
Chapter 1: Familiar Arrogant Foe
Leo walked through the village he used to live in before being raised by
Kaine in the forest. He revisited his brother Edo to check up on him. They went to a bar
and sat next to each other. Edo had always wanted to fight with Leo, seeing him as an
honorable opponent to achieve his goals. His aims were simple and straightforward.
“It has been quite a while, Edo. How have you been?” said Leo.
“Oh, nothing much, I've just been trying to collect the time gems,” replied Edo.
“You are looking for what?!” Leo’s eyes widened after realizing Edo was also
searching for the time gems.
“You are looking for the time gems too? Well, you might as well hand it over to
me, for I am number one!” proclaimed Edo, the so-called number one fighter. He was
very reluctant to give up the gem and take it from Leo. There was only one way this
could have gone.
The night air was thick with tension as Leo stepped out of the dimly lit bar, his
hand steady as he raised the silver revolver. They stared at each other face to face,
ready to rip each other apart. Edo’s arrogance shone throughout the fight, even taunting
Leo while he was reloading the silver revolver. After a long and hard-fought battle, Leo
ended it with six shots from the silver six-shooter, and Edo fell.
“I knew I could not have won against you. I just wanted to see you again, which is
why I started collecting time gems. I wanted to duel you. I envy your gun handling and
precision; I chose to die by your hands. Good luck with your goals, brother. Do not feel
guilty for me, for it is quite an honor to die at the hands of such an honorable foe,” said
Edo before bleeding out from the gunshot wounds.
“I’m not the type of person to be idolized…” said Leo, still guilty about what he did
to Kaine. The gem began to rise and glow.
“There was only one past you could change,” whispered the second gem. This
made Leo flinch, not expecting the gem to talk. Before Leo could respond, the gem
stopped glowing and dropped to the floor. It did not reply to any of the following
questions he asked. Picking up the gem, he continued forward in the village.
Chapter 1.5: Reluctant noble
While Leo was collecting the gems, Simadre was also looking for the time gems.
She walked through the city, feeling nostalgic for the memories she made there.
Entering the bar where she once worked, she remembered all the customers she
served. The pay may not have been high, but it was decent, and at least the coworkers
were nice. Suddenly, in the corner of her eye, she saw Okura in the same seat where
he once offered a marriage proposal. Waving at him, she noticed an object in his
pocket. It was one of the time gems. Okura also saw her gem and soon realized that
she, too, was looking for the time gems. They decided to talk it out before taking drastic
action.
“Simadre, you are Simadre, right? I have been looking for you all this time!
Anyway, I am glad you are safe. I missed you!” said Okura.
“I am sorry, but I cannot say the same for you. I did not miss you…” replied
Simadre.
“What did you say? Well, at least I do not have to hunt for gems anymore! Let us
go home and be together!” replied Okura.
“There is nowhere else for me to go back to, and you are not the place I am going
back to. I shall take the gem by force if I must,” replied Simadre coldly, raising her wand.
“If you live with me, I will buy you whatever you want. You would not need
anything! So do not be silly and just say yes to my offer. I am being generous here you
know,” replied Okura.
“Your wealth can’t help me get what I truly want,” replied Simadre.
“Do not say something stupid like that! If you have so much money, you can even
buy a life. You are my property because I already bought you. You do not have any right
to choose. If you will not obey me, then I will kill you, collect the gems, and turn back
time to before you ran off with your older brother and force you to be with me.”
Raising her wand, she prepared to fight Okura, who wielded a golden revolver by
his side. He dropped giant golden coins onto her, his love for money evident even in the
magic he used. After a long and hard-fought battle, Okura fell.
“Wait! I will pay you if you turn back time to before we fought! I do not want to die;
this cannot be happening to me!” As life left Okura’s eyes, Simadre collected her
second time gem. The gem repeated the same quote directed towards Leo. Simadre
gazed at the time gem in her hand, as she wondered what it meant. The repeated quote
puzzled her, but she knew she had a mission to fulfill. With determination in her heart,
she set off in search of the third gem, her mind focused on the task at hand.
Chapter 2: Bitter Reunion
Leo, searching through various locations, went through the other parts of
his village. His mother, Lila, was also looking for the time gems, driven by one reason:
to undo her abandonment of her husband and mend their broken family. Her regret over
her actions was a heavy load to bear. She could no longer bear the guilt and sought the
gems of time herself. She did not know that her own son, who had wandered into the
forest one day and never returned, would be the obstacle preventing her from achieving
this goal. With heavy hearts, they came face to face, realizing they would get in each
other’s way. As they looked into each other’s eyes, they decided to settle this in the
garden where Leo, Lila, and Edo used to water their various plants, full of joy watching
the flowers bloom and the fruits ripen. The difference now was that the blood of one of
them would be used to water the plants.
Walking through the various flowers and crops, Leo approached his mother, who
was admiring the plants and flowers as they always had in the past, before looking at
him with seriousness in her eyes.
“You know how this will go… Raise your revolver and shed some blood, and I
shall do the same. Do not hold back. We both are not going to just give up the gem
without a fight,” said Lila, with unmatched determination in her eyes. She was clearly
ready to achieve her goal through any means necessary, even if it meant killing her own
son. Leo sighed, loading his revolver, knowing this was the only way it could end, for
neither of them would relent and give up the gem.
Raising their weapons, they fought each other valiantly, soaking the soil, leaves,
and petals of the garden with their blood, turning the once beautiful garden into a bloody
mess. Leo fired the final bullet, making a fatal shot at his mother, who did not utter any
final words. Picking up the third gem, he had a thought.
“Is the past you initially wanted to change the one you still have in mind?” asked
the third time gem. There were other choices he was considering, but he was still set on
the same path. Although he had moments of hesitation, they did not sway his resolve.
He moved on to look for the fourth gem and headed to the forest where he had been
raised by Kaine.
Chapter 2.5: Unloving Mother
Simadre went through her own reunion, returning to the mansion she once lived in
before running away to live with her brother in the forest. She was still furious with her
mother for selling her to Okura for a life of luxury. When she saw the gem in her
mother’s hands, she knew that her mother, too, was seeking the time gems. Without
hesitation, she attacked immediately, leaving her mother on the ground.
“You are an unfilial daughter. You were supposed to follow your parents’ authority.
Oh, how I miss my life of luxury and the qualities that came with it. Truly a life worthy of
my lineage. If only you could have accepted that offer from Okura…” As her mother bled
out, slowly dying, Simadre felt even more empty after hearing her mother's words.
Collecting her third time gem, she left the mansion, not caring what the gem would say.
She paused for a moment to reflect on her actions. Despite the bitterness and
anger she felt towards her mother, the encounter left a void in her heart. She knew that
her quest for the time gems was not just about changing the past but also about finding
a sense of purpose and closure. As she walked away from the mansion, she resolved to
continue her search, determined to find the remaining gems, and uncover the true
meaning behind their cryptic messages.
Chapter 3: The Insidious Traitorous Bandit
In the forest where Leo had wandered during his childhood, the place where
Kaine had raised him after he got lost, he felt an odd, unsettling feeling creeping over
him. The forest, dense and full of shadows, was a place of both memories and
mysteries. As he walked through the familiar terrain, each step stirring leaves and twigs,
Leo had the unsettling sensation of being watched, as though he was about to be
ambushed at any moment. The branches and bushes rustled ominously in the light
breeze. As the wind blew, random bushes rustled, and faint footsteps could be heard
near the trees, making it clear that a confrontation was imminent. The canopy above
seemed to close in, filtering the sunlight into dim patches on the forest floor.
Pulling out his trusty silver revolver, he prepared for the inevitable encounter.
Standing still and focusing on every little movement in the bushes and branches, he
followed the movements with intense concentration. Suddenly, a bullet was fired directly
at Leo, who barely managed to avoid the shot. Emerging from the dense trees was
Ruby, the very person who had betrayed Kaine, the one who had forced Leo to put a
bullet between the eyes of the man who had been like a father to him, the one who had
shown him love and care when he needed it most.
Leo aimed the silver revolver at Ruby, his eyes filled with determination and
anger. “As always, you are smart when it comes to vulgar things, Ruby. I will avenge my
father’s death,” said Leo with a steely resolve, his voice trembling with emotion.
“Aren’t you the one who killed your Kaine? Calling me your enemy is quite
irrational,” Ruby replied with a smirk, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
“Shut your mouth. I will never forgive you,” Leo retorted angrily, his grip on the
revolver tightening.
“Hm, do you really hate me that much? Then let us put an end to this in a place
where no one could interrupt us. How about the very waterfall where you killed Kaine?”
suggested Ruby, as he faded back into the trees. His presence is as ghostly as his
intentions.
Leo knew it was clearly going to be a trap. As he walked towards the waterfall, his
mind was filled with memories of Kaine and the times they had spent together. Deciding
to revisit the bandit camp where they had once lived, he wandered through the ruins,
going through the memories of him and Kaine, each corner and shadow bringing back
fragments of the past. After reminiscing, he went to the waterfall where Ruby was
waiting, his figure a dark silhouette against the rushing water. He had a smug look on
his face, his confidence palpable.
“Quite frankly, I did not expect you to walk here blindly. You already ended up in
my trap; you might as well hand it over,” said Ruby with a sinister smile.
“I already know the trap that awaits me. I know your personality quite well. The
only way to beat your cautious self is to jump into the trap you are hiding. You trapped
yourself, Ruby,” said Leo with confidence, his voice echoing slightly against the canyon
walls.
“Hmph, how cocky. I will make you regret your overconfidence,” Ruby sneered,
his eyes narrowing as he prepared his next move.
He threw barrels full of snakes near Leo, releasing a multitude of venomous
serpents that hissed and writhed on the ground. It was quite ironic, considering how
much of a snake he was in his deceit and betrayal. Leo, already expecting such a trap,
tipped over a giant boulder onto the snakes before they could react, crushing them
under the boulder weight. As Leo fought Ruby, he could see him becoming fatigued,
slowly growing tired. Ruby, who always used underhanded ways to deal with his
enemies, was not that powerful to begin with, her strength lying in deceit rather than
direct combat. Once Ruby could barely move, Leo delivered the fatal shot. He had only
a few minutes of life left, his breaths shallow and labored.
“Is this your revenge? It won't matter what you say. You killed the man you called
a father. That's how you became a hero. My death won't erase your sins. Blame
yourself and suffer until you die.” As Ruby’s last breath escaped his mouth, his voice
was like venom that affected Leo.
“I know. That is more like you. You blame your sins on others. You were so fragile
you could not even hold the weight of your actions. You do not have to tell me,” said Leo
as he picked up the fourth gem, his expression somber. The gem did not say anything
this time, its usual glow dimmed by the weight of the moment. He quickly left the forest
and went to look elsewhere, his heart heavy with the burden of his actions.
Chapter 3.5: Fragments of Happiness
Simadre walked through the very forest Leo had been in before, her steps
echoing the path he had taken, looking for the gem that eluded her. From there, she met
her teacher in magic, Hojiro, a figure from her past who had taught her everything she
knew. Her heart sank, for Hojiro was someone to whom she looked up, and she did not
want to fight her. She looked up and down at Hojiro, hoping she was not looking for the
gems as well, but to no avail, for one of the gems was wrapped around Hojiro’s belt,
gleaming faintly in the dappled sunlight.
Pointing her wand at Hojiro, Simadre had a look of sadness and desperation.
“Look, if you give me the gem, we do not have to fight. You mean so much to me.”
pleaded Simadre, her voice quivering with emotion.
“We both have reasons for collecting gems, no? I simply cannot just give it up that
easily. Raise up your wand and fight,” responded Hojiro, her voice steady but filled with
sorrow.
After a bit of fighting, there was something odd about Hojiro, like she was holding
back, her movements hesitant. After a bit of back-and-forth fighting, Hojiro had lost, her
strength giving out.
“Why did you hold back? Was it painful inside your heart to fight me?” asked
Simadre, tears welling in her eyes.
“No, it is not that. I have not used magic in quite a while. After I accidentally
caused harm to one of my close ones, killing them with my magic, I did not use it for a
long time out of guilt. The whole entire reason I collected the gems was to undo that
accident. This is karma for my actions. Bring this gem; you will need it. I wish you luck,
Simadre. Thank you for everything,” confessed Hojiro with her last words, her voice
breaking with emotion.
As Simadre picked up the fourth time gem, she felt a deep emptiness, for now,
she had no one left alive that cared for her. The one who did was someone who she
wanted to kill for revenge, a dark reminder of the consequences of their actions.
Chapter 4: Phantom City with a Grieving King
Leo walked through the rubble of the fallen nation of Chandion, searching for the
fifth gem. As he navigated the ruins and debris, he began piecing together what had
happened to such a desolate place. Before he could think further, he saw a strange
figure in the distance and cautiously approached it with a revolver in hand. There he
met Amatsu, his biological father, whom he did not recognize. Without hesitation, he
began to ask what he was looking for to determine if he was hostile. As expected,
Amatsu replied that he was also searching for the time gems.
Leo had never seen Amatsu before and did not recognize his face, which was
quite odd given that the time gem implied that all those seeking the gems of time were
connected in some way. "Hm, I do not seem to recognize you… How odd. All the people
I've encountered trying to find the gems of time were related," said Leo.
"That is of no concern. All that matters is who gets the gem. However, it may
interest you to know, even if it makes no difference, my name is Amatsu, the king of
these ruins," said Amatsu. Upon hearing this, Leo suddenly knew who he was.
"Hey, why are you happy now? Is it better for you to kill the king of a fallen city
instead of a stranger?" said Amatsu as he got into a fighting stance.
"Those who are stronger and have higher willpower shall obtain the gems. Show
me your willpower," Leo responded. He saw Amatsu preparing to fight unarmed and
respected his decision. He dropped the gun and prepared for hand-to-hand combat.
After a few kicks and punches, Amatsu was badly bruised and on the verge of death.
Leo was exhausted but ready to end the fight. With a single kick, Amatsu fell to the
ground.
"My long-cherished wish seems unfulfilled… That is good too. Hey, wait a minute,
you can't just ask my name without giving yours," said Amatsu.
"I didn't mean to, but you are right. I am Leo, just a drifter. Does it sound familiar
to you in any way?" replied Leo.
"No. The memories of the past are irrelevant to me; all I desire are memories of
peace in my life. That is all I want… Oh Lila... If I ever see you, can you please welcome
me back?" said Amatsu before succumbing to his injuries. Taking the fifth time gem, Leo
continued onwards.
Chapter 4.5: Denial
After exiting the forest, Simadre took a break at a nearby lake to relax from the
constant action. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the distance and began walking closer.
To her surprise, she did not need to search for the person who had the fifth gem, as he
walked right into her. It was her father, Ashura.
"Simadre? You have grown quite a lot," said Ashura.
"Even father? I thought you died; the last time anyone saw you was many years
ago. Everyone assumed you just died!" replied Simadre.
"Do not call me a ghost! For some reason, I was hiding, but during that time, I was
still managing the mansion!" replied Ashura.
"No, the family has long since fallen. There is no one at home; every family
member has died or moved on. Gento is the only one still in the mansion, but other than
that, it is over. The power the family once held is gone. You keep seeing delusions. You
are chasing phantoms; there is nothing left!" replied Simadre.
"What nonsense are you talking about? There may be inconsistencies with my
reality, but all I need to do is collect the gems and it can be restored. So you are
collecting gems too, right? Give it to me," replied Ashura.
"Father, please stop it. Everything is over now…" replied Simadre.
"Now, you are a member of the family, right? You should increase the fame of the
family, even if it means sacrificing yourself! That is your obligation," replied Ashura.
"Stop lying to yourself! What made the family famous? What you did was a crime!"
Raising her wand, she prepared to fight Ashura. As always, she defeated her opponent
and won the time gem.
"No… I must convey to everyone what a true aristocrat is! I must protect the fame
of the family!" Until his very last breath, Ashura held into his delusions.
Chapter 5: Hesitation
Two hallucinations of Kaine appeared in front of both Simadre and Leo
separately. It ran from both, not answering any questions. The hallucinations were trying
to lure Simadre and Leo closer. The hallucinations were quick and hard to keep up.
After Simadre and Leo were close enough the hallucinations faded, only leaving behind
the time gems. As Leo and Simadre picked up each of the time gems, they suddenly
saw each other. Leo was the most shocked due to the fact he presumed Simadre was
dead. “You’re Simadre right?” Leo's voice echoed through the empty space as Simadre
darted away, her figure disappearing into the distance. Confusion and disbelief mingled
within him, he struggled to understand what had just happened. Simadre, whom he had
believed to be dead, now stood before him, alive and seemingly well.
With a mixture of determination and concern, Leo chased after her, his footsteps
echoing against the barren land. He called out her name once more, hoping to catch her
attention. As more questions formed in his mind, he wanted answers to the mysteries
that surrounded their unexpected encounter.
Finally catching up on her, Simadre’s figure became visible. Leo chased after
Simadre across various locations, trying to get her to stop. “Simadre, wait! Don’t run
away from me!”
Chapter 6: Time of Decision
They both ran off into the canyon where it all originally started, where the
journey to find the gems began. "Simadre, why? Why are you trying to run away from
me?" said Leo.
"You're wrong," replied Simadre.
"Then why won't you even try talking to me? I swore to protect you! Why are you
avoiding me?" replied Leo.
"You are wrong. You were my enemy all along." As Simadre said these lines to
Leo, she created walls of rejection using her magic prowess and wand, launching them
at Leo as a metaphor for her rejection of him after he killed her brother. Leo hesitated,
not wanting to hurt Simadre. He eventually succumbed and pulled out his silver
revolver, realizing that sooner or later he would be killed if he did not act.
When Simadre saw the revolver, she was enraged. The audacity for him to pull
out the revolver Kaine used to wield against her was such a disrespectful act to her,
especially since she did not know why Leo killed her brother. Leo was confused about
why Simadre was showing such hostility towards him but continued shooting. After a
long fight, both were exhausted and could fall at any moment. As they stared each other
down, they lunged towards each other.
Ending 1:
As Simadre narrowly avoided the revolver shot, she made the final strike, making
Leo fall to his knees. "Why, Simadre? Why did we have to fight? I came all this way to
see you again," said Leo.
"No, you were my enemy all along. You killed my older brother; I came to avenge
him," replied Simadre.
"Brother...? Who was your brother?" asked Leo.
"He was the one who made your name known. To you, he was the bandit chief,
but he was a good brother even if he was a bandit. I brought you closer to avenge him,"
answered Simadre.
"I see, I now understand. Thank you, Simadre. I always wanted a place to die. I
thought my sins could not be atoned for. Even in this form, this is the best compensation
I could give. Simadre, forgive me but I was left without choice. Kaine chose to die in my
hands; it is not my decision," replied Leo. "I cannot protect you now. Be happy; that's all
I want you to do," said Leo, before he was knocked out cold.
"Oh, I knew it. Revenge was just an excuse to turn away from reality. I knew it all
along. Even if I went back in time, what I really wanted to do was not kill you. I just
wanted to see you. I wanted to see you again. I am an idiot. I cannot believe I realized it
now. Hey, open your eyes! Please open your eyes." Suddenly, the six gems in Leo’s
possession floated up as the other six gems from Simadre did as well, forming a circular
pattern like a clock.
"What is the past you want to change?" asked the twelve gems to Simadre.
Ending 2:
Leo made the final shot, causing Simadre to fall to the ground. "Why, Simadre?
Why did we have to fight? I came all this way to see you again," said Leo.
"No, you were my enemy all along. You killed my older brother; I came to avenge
him," replied Simadre.
"Brother...? Who was your brother?" asked Leo.
"He was the one who made your name known. To you, he was the bandit chief,
but he was a good brother even if he was a bandit. I brought you closer to avenge him.
But maybe I was wrong. Maybe I just wanted to vent my feelings on someone... If I
could start over... If I could..." Simadre spoke her last words.
Suddenly, the six gems in Leo’s possession floated up as the other six gems from
Simadre did as well, forming a circular pattern like a clock.
"What is the past you want to change?" asked the twelve gems to Leo.
