Sally is a happy, 10-year-old girl who loves playing with her friends. They sometimes play school inside their house or play tag on the street. Shouts and laughter can be heard whenever they are together. Sally is actually a shy and quiet person, but once she becomes comfortable with people, she can be confident. Now there is this time of the year when relatives would come to their house and stay for days to sing the Pasion together. This is an epic narrative of the life of Jesus focused on His passion, death and resurrection being sung by a large group of people. Sally finds it too loud and uncomfortable to the ears because the tune just goes up and low, almost funny sometimes. Also, during this time, children are restricted from playing and going out to avoid making noise because as her mother Julie would say, "These are holy days" - she seems to mean that holiness is being silent. So, as an obedient child, Sally would try her best to keep quiet even if its hard, but sometimes she would be scolded along with her cousins as they run around, forgetting about the occasion. Well, that's how children are - playful. But for Sally, obeying her parents, and following traditions, are a few of the values taught her while growing up, and she intend to keep these to become a good person.

As she grows older, Sally has learned to practice this tradition in a more personal way. Instead of just following and doing certain things in a specific time of each year, she has come to know about the life, passion, death and resurrection of her Lord. She learned that she is greatly loved and that her life is valuable. Because of this, she has decided to live her life as pleasing to Him always; not just trying to be good in a specific time of a year, but living for Him all the days of her life.

Today, Sally realized that her heart is full of joy and peace - even if life is not perfect - but she knows that she is guided. And whatever happens, it happens for a reason, which she has learned to accept and learn from. With this happiness, she is able to reach out and help other people find joy and peace within by sharing her experience and how she has found true meaning in life.
