When Mira moved into the old countryside cottage, she was drawn to its charm - despite the realtor's odd warning: "Don't use the small room upstairs."
Curiosity eventually won. On a stormy night, she opened the dusty door to the forbidden room. It was empty except for a broken mirror nailed to the wall. The moment she stepped inside, she heard a soft whisper.
It said her name.
Each night after that, the whispering grew louder - never angry, just persistent. One night, unable to sleep, she returned to the room. The whisper said:
"Look behind you."
She did. The mirror was no longer broken. It showed her reflection - except the reflection was smiling. She wasn't.
Then the lights went out.
Now, she lives in the mirror.
And the house waits for its next guest.
