A thirteen year old teenage girl called Laylah and her sixteenth year old sister Khalyla are two young survivors. This story is base off Khalyla and Laylah real life's. In a small town called Bloomfield once lived a single mom named Madeleine and her three children a eleven year old Rhaejon and his two older sisters Laylah and Khalyla. Both Khalyla and Laylah attended Justice primary both girls would attend school things takes a change for girls which they becomes distance Laylah becomes a trouble child at a very young age, at primary school Laylah would ran from school it all started when their grandmother and aunties got involved in their lives controlling them on what to do where to go and the type of friends they should keep. Laylah bit her teacher finger and was taken to the principal office where she got beaten she then ran away from him as he and few students chase her Laylah hide behind someone's house as students throw stones at her. Layla male cousin who's an adult help her and bring her back to school where he got into a disagreement with the principal who allowed the students the hurt Laylah her mom Madeleine also went to see her daughter Laylah once throw stones at her mom and ran away. Things takes a turn when Khalyla who was twelve and in grade six at the time ran away from Justice primary school and students chase her being twelve at them time Khalyla didn't know who she could ran to. Both girls would be bullied at school teachers and principal would turn a blind eye to everything that's until Khalyla graduated from Justice primary in twenty eighteen after her graduation that very next morning Khalyla and her mom Madeleine attended a graduation party Khalyla wears her favorite golden dress and her golden shoes adults students and the principals from both different schools two primary schools came together Justice primary and Luis primary that's where she met Jensen from Luis primary they consume and drink afterwards they dances Khalyla also met a girl called Emma two girls immediately becomes friends. After returning in the middle of the night Khalyla first rushes to her sister Laylah and informed her of everything that took place last night both girls fell asleep next to each other. The next morning Laylah and her brother Rhaejon attended Justice primary while Madeleine took her daughter Khalyla to high school she cried on her first day because she couldn't find her mom two student and their mom helps her find her mom being her first time at high school Khalyla picture herself with a group of girls she could trust she immediately imagined how amazing her life will be at South high. Little did Khalyla know that it wasn't a safe high school her first day at South high school Kaitlyn met a group of girls she quickly becomes friends with on the seventh grade block Khalyla was hanging out with few of her friends her their home room teacher ask Khalyla if she hand any brothers at the school she then informed her that she have two brothers that's here at the same school with her, Khalyla friends jokingly called her by her brother name. A group of three grade eleven students came up to them where on of them ask who's Jake sister they pointed at Khalyla the girls introduced themselves as Theresa Nicole and Leah they immediately becomes friends with Khalyla and her friends Theresa told Khalyla that she's her sister in law Khalyla loved her sister in law Theresa on day Khalyla wrote a letter for her sister in law she gave it to her two hours later Theresa informed Khalyla that she accidentally lost the letter after getting use to the school Khalyla bullying begins a group of friends bullied her little did Khalyla and Laylah know that this was just the beginning of their suffering being only fourteen at the time and in grade eight Khalyla wanted to drop out of school because her bullying got worst the bullies got more students to bully her Khalyla face would change every time someone leaves the room Khalyla was sexual assault five times the from seven to eight grade being way too young at the time Khalyla didn't want anyone knowing that changed when her cousin told a story that inspired Khalyla so she told her story to the teacher who takes her to the guidance counselor Khalyla was taken down to the police station to give her statement Khalyla could see on the officer face that she didn't believe her the female officer even went far by calling her a liar later that night Khalyla enter her bedroom with teary eyes as she called her mom Madeleine to talk seeing her tears Madeleine ask what's wrong Khalyla whispered with tears running down her cheeks mom please don't tell anyone but he rapes me Luke rape me Madeleine cried as she told her boyfriend and their friend her step dad her mom and his friend ask Luke about the situation Luke first instincts was to call the same female officer and told her that Khalyla is lying Khalyla listen as he told them that he doesn't know her nor has he ever brought her to school. That very next morning Madeleine brought Khalyla to the doctor where she was tested and it turns out that Khalyla was in fact assault not only was she assaulted but she had to take three different medications two days later she told her best friend Khalyla thought her best friend would support her until Khalyla best friend told her that her dad didn't believe her story two days later Khalyla and her best friend got into a disagreement where she revealed Khalyla secret that crushes her. Khalyla and Laylah stayed and support each other one minute Khalyla family support her then the next minute Khalyla was blamed for everything fourteen year old Khalyla would cut herself just so she could feel pain Khalyla becomes closer with on of their friend. On Laylah thirteen birthday party they enjoyed themselves their was more guys than girls still they dance the night away Khalyla and Laylah trusted the boys which the guys and Khalyla would dance with each other one of the guy got liquor for both him and Khalyla to drink having enough liquor to drink Khalyla fell asleep next to the guy. At the age of sixteen Khalyla Laylah and two of their friends were in a taxi that broken down they enter a different car that's where Khalyla met him Khalyla first enter the Toyota voxy and gave her bag to a Crown high school male then her sister sat in her lap and their friends enter right behind them, they makes small jokes Khalyla stared at the guy from time to time, seeing him on his phone Khalyla wanted to pull his phone from him to see who he's texting however because she didn't know him she couldn't do that he then took her number the vehicle came to a stop and the Crown high school male exist the car while Khalyla stared at him after reaching home Kaitlya got a text from the guy the two starts texting back and forth somehow Khalyla felt happy when she's on video call with him his cute nickname for her was Angel eyes he watches her while she fall asleep Khalyla was excited to go back home after school just so she could hear his voice and see his face Laylah adore him that's until she saw him playing with another girl that's when Laylah becomes disrespectful towards the guy. The next morning the Crown high school guy invited Khalyla to go on a trip with her after the trip Khalyla watches his story and saw him with another girl Khalyla cross off his name as she remember her formerly guy best friend and her sister warned her about the guy and that he's a player Khalyla guy best friend also warned her about him. The crown high school guy was on Khalyla call late that night when she's asking a guy to get off her Khalyla could feel the guy up top of her and didn't know what to do the call hangs up and the guy called her back as she answered Khalyla wanted him to hear what's happening. Both teenagers starts going to bar drinking and smoking Khalyla and Laylah went to a bar to have fun later in the night both girls decided to go home their was no drive so Laylah called a friend of theirs to bring them home, the two went on the bike where the three almost crash into a vehicle the guy stop hear his friends and Khalyla stood close to Laylah, both girls stared at the guys as they came closer towards them Laylah went back on the bike while Khalyla went into the car before reaching to her home the guy had child's lock on trapping Khalyla in the process she tried unlocking the door to no use he then took advantage of her before dropping her off. The girls kept quiet about what happened, Laylah informed Khalyla about the guy she met seeing the happiness in the way she talks the bright smile on Layla face as she mentioned the guy that pushing the siblings farther from each other Khalyla and Laylah were arguing which leads to Khalyla running across the road unaware of the speeding car approaching her mom Madeleine aunty and cousin best friend followed her to make sure she's safe Khalyla and Laylah got into a heated fight where Laylah hits Khalyla head on the ground people got worried as they pulled the siblings apart they thought Khalyla had died the panic in Laylah face as she watches her sister laying on the ground. Khalyla ran away from them as four guys chases closely behind her not wanting the guys to catch up Khalyla jumps through a fence and hid from them. Laylah and Khalyla promises not to leave each other. One morning Khalyla ask Laylah to follow her so she can collect her uniform both girls leaves the home that morning however Laylah decided that she didn't wanna go so far so Khalyla went on her own to collect her uniform after receiving her uniform Khalyla waits for drive not having a phone she couldn't call Laylah two minutes later Khalyla showed up an both girls went to their uncle house Laylah once again stayed behind and Khalyla went to see their uncle thinking he wasn't home Khalyla and her sister Laylah went to the bar the two buy themselves cigarettes and waits for drive before taxi arrived Laylah ran across the road playfully stopping vehicle that's heading down and the one's heading up Khalyla recording her both sisters took a taxi to Lucea where they waits for a second drive. Long story short to the sister's went their separate ways and Laylah was sexual assault when Khalyla and Laylah were much younger they would smoke cigarettes and had no regrets Khalyla and Laylah taken different paths Laylah turning away from Khalyla like she hates her. Khalyla meet her new best friend the two girls would sat down to talk Khalyla informed her about the Crown high school guy she met seeing the happiness and the bright smile on Khalyla face as she told her best friend, both girls went for a walk they seated an a bench that's where she met a guy called Jake who ask for her number Khalyla blindfold herself and her best friend leads her towards the guy just by touching his bag she somehow knew it was him she then ran away from him as her best friend followed closely behind her Khalyla felt something was off and figure out she's a bet she immediately confronted him about it and he told her that at first she's a bet but now he's in love with this could be our little secrets they all say. Khalyla already knew she and the Crown high school guy wasn't dating still they were on good terms Khalyla had a friend that had a huge crush on the Crown high school guy and Khalyla ignore him so her friend could have him the same girl that have a huge crush on the Crown high school guy also had a crush on the South high school guy once again Khalyla try to ignore him so her friend could have him things took a turn when the guy starts being around Khalyla in the empty classroom he would feed her share snacks juice and water with her Khalyla watches his girlfriend as she walks around the school wearing his jacket and his uniform shirt telling everybody she's his girlfriend. Some happened between Laylah and Khalyla that pulls them closer together where they have a unbreakable bond. Laylah got bullied by her classmates and she went to find her sister both Khalyla and Laylah went to her class which Khalyla told her to get her stuff she won't be in that class and the fact that a teacher was teaching in the classroom and ignored the fact that Laylah was been bullied she ignored it Khalyla took her to the principal office where the principal ignored them both. The every next morning Laylah called to the principal office and was expelled Laylah told her sister and the others that she and the principal got into a argument after the principal disrespected her Khalyla waited for both her sisters when a teacher ask why the guy was here before he could reply the girl said she's his property the guy stared at Khalyla not realizing that she had already lost respect for him his sister then asks Khalyla sister who's Miya Khalyla sister didn't tell her. After realizing he's playing with his girlfriend feelings Khalyla wanted no part of the game. Khalyla meet her second guy best friend the two becomes close with him around she felt safe she felt even more safe in his arms every time she seems him she would run into this arms Khalyla slowly starts healing once she met him. She also met her next guy best friend the two wouldn't pass each other without hugging he once told Khalyla she carried her Laylah smiled. She had no idea how badly the Crown high school guy wanted to wrong about her, everybody wants the old Khalyla and Laylah back it's just that there's no old Khalyla nor old Laylah teachers would compare Khalyla her Laylah and to her old self. Khalyla bullying didn't end there even the teacher's would bully her calling her name saying bad things about her Khalyla wanted to fight back but she realized there's no hope and fighting back will only makes things worst. Khalyla finally got a group of friends four girls including herself one day one of their friend decided to vape in class the teacher called for the security to search the girl who lied that she didn't have any vape she hide if before getting search the principal was then called to the classroom to find the vape however it was already hidden Khalyla and the two girls leaves the classroom soon the three girls gotten ten days suspension for the vape except for Khalyla because there was no evidence of her involvement. Khalyla went home late one night and saw her sister Laylah slippers she rushes inside to huge her sister Khalyla screams in joy seeing her sister returned Laylah explains to her mom Madeleine her cousin's that she had jump a fence and escape she and a friend had ran away. The next day Laylah and Khalyla didn't hear from each other until Laylah lived with her grandmother day and night Laylah and Khalyla talks they informed each other of what's happening in their life's Laylah met a new friend who convinced her to ran away from her home Laylah ended up running away and for few day no one heard from her they call her phone she would declined each calls Khalyla then call Laylah and she answered Khalyla first lines were have you eaten anything are you safe please go back home i love you after there conversation Laylah decided to call her grandmother to tell her that she's alright. At school a security took Khalyla badge saying it didn't belong to her Khalyla went to the principal office and told her what had taken place the principal then informed Khalyla that she should have be expelled for hiding a vape she then went far as to compare both Laylah and Khalyla as she indicates what a bad influencer the two are, finally having enough Khalyla tears couple papers and through it on the desk and walk out. She was then immediately expelled from South high the teachers even the principal went as far as to tell some of Khalyla friends that she's a bad influence a teacher told Khalyla that she's been exploited. Couple days later Khalyla and her mom Madeleine would later hear that Laylah was taken to a place of safety despite Khalyla trying to hide her frustration and her anger Rhaejon had no idea where his sister is he only know that she's with her grandmother he don't know the truth and he probably never will. Khalyla became close friends with a girl called Angela the two were super close Khalyla guy best friend notice the similarities between Khalyla and Angela and how Khalyla skin colour changes when she met both Angela the colour from her skin went from brown to pale Angela would copy everything Khalyla did and she could try to become her Angela obsession with Khalyla grow stronger and after Khalyla guy best friend ended the friendship between Angela and Khalyla she's slowly turning back into her normal self Khalyla wasn't okay at the begging either Angela was really jealous of Khalyla and ruined there friendship they were too young Laylah needed help too the reason Khalyla guy best friend ended his friends with her wasn't because he's concerned about her it's because she's intoxicated Madeleine was a good mother Khalyla was completely loosening her mind Laylah was already struggling at the beginning Khalyla guy best friend had his own problems too but he decided not to worry about himself cause Khalyla needed him Angela dated one of the rapist to get revenge on Khalyla. They called Angela the copycat of Khalyla replacement for Khalyla Laylah needed more attention Angela had no rights to show Khalyla guy best friend her scars Khalyla was worried about Laylah Angela just needed love and a family Khalyla guy best friend deserves better he was only trying to help them while he needed the help too the guys made their life's worse Khalyla pulling her hair and throwing things around in her room when she's angry Kaitlyn face expression changes right after someone leaves the room, Khalyla locks herself in her bedroom she barely talks the only thing she enjoys doing is written for fun being seventeen is fun they say.
