In 2004, A girl name Adwoa is a Ghana girl who lived with her parents in Adenta which happens to be part of the Greater Accra region of Ghana. He was very naive and sensually active. Adwoa was a good girl but her mother was so busy to advice her about men. They had a house boy name Bright. Bright was an illerate and couldn't read nor write and he was good looking as well. Bright deceived Adwoa and they started having sex. Adwoa was 14 years at the time, whiles Bright was older, probably in his 20's at that time. This started before Adwoa went to the Senior High School and they were together for years before her elder sister names Akua found. She informed their mum, and action was taken in the boy. The boy was thrown out of the house and out of fear, Adwoa had to run from the house. She didn't have any where to go and she went to relax in an uncompleted building where she almost got rapid. Adwoa met Bright and he forced her to go home. This was a sad moment because Adwoa thought she was inlove but not knowing she was under a spell. Her mother and Aunty involved a prophetess named Mummy Hannah. They started fasting and prayers for one month and she was forced to cut all ties with Bright. Initially, Adwoa thought Bright was for him but later all the love she had for him vanished and she regretted ever being with such a boy. Adwoa later apologised to her parents and she went to school to further her education. Adwoa attended Cape Coast Technical University which was then called Cape Coast Polytechnic. She graduated successful and went further to completer her First Degree at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
This is a true story and I urge every parent to have time for their children. When they get to adolescent age, they need a good friend to confide in and that good friend can be you "the parent".
