I had been summoned by my father Alpha of the Puppyville Pack. I knew something was wrong because he doesn't interrupt my training or the work I do with my dogs. " Kneeling I say the words the healer wants to beat with my girls on guard the attack could come from any angle and they did not plan on allowing them the chance to get to close, " Yes my healer I am ready. Let what must be be. He will be granted peace this day. " And with that I rose with a blood lust taking over ready to battle anything or one that moved. My father my alpha teach mentor was leaving and someone had to pay. Before I had fully rissen to my full height each of my girls had taken down someone and the three of attached as one the final opponent and I delivered the final blow to my half brother and watched the light draining from his face." It is over behold our new alpha! " Hearing the howling my girls and I braced for another round of attacks and I was crouched between them ready to blindly attack whatever came our way. Slowly the healer came to me and said "Alpha it is finished you have proven your shelf worth. Go to your father. As we enter the healer states " It is finished you're alpha is here to hear you're request. The battle was won by the one I foresaw long ago. The pack is in good hands. Alpha you may approach now." Coming I kneel at his bedside now as the last act of his daughter and not his alpha and whispered "Father I am here, what do you wish of me?" His eyes open "My daughter my alpha you now alone lead the pack. The time has come I have given you the chance to prove your shelf worthy of the title Alpha and you have done so daughter with the sprit of a warrior. May you're reign be long let your dogs and love for the pack be your guide. Behold I place the headdress of Alpha upon my daughters head this day. Under her leadership may all of you prosper and let her reign be even longer that mine! Now my alpha I seek to follow the morning sun to find your mother again, she is here waiting for me. Allow me to go to to her knowing our love and pride in you will never waver in the long years to come and when the dark days come for they will remember my example go to the ground sleep heal but always rising to lead yore tribe now. " With a unwearing voice not betraying the pain it was causing I said" As alpha I grant the final wish of a great warrior, your battles are over. I grant you peace as you seek the morning sun" and end his life. I turn to face the pack my pack and say with a heavy heart " And so it shall begin again."

For many years I battle loose my girls go to ground and return to find my girls again and to repeat the process never forgetting my father's words or the promise I made to defend our people until I at last defeat the light bearer. Century after century I do so and the next time I rise from my sleep will be the last time I feel it in my weary soul. As my eyes close I whisper "My girls soon I will find you again and this time it will be different I will not loose you this time it will be different we will destroy the enemy and have a life and family for I will bring the knowledge with me I had forgotten with me and we will be together after. I vow this to you. "" And I let the darkness win knowing the time has come at long last.
