As a child, Emily was pretty ambitious and intelligent, and she had the zest to become a marine biologist as she had always been very fond of ocean and aquatic life.
She always loved to gaze at sunsets at the beach and also the twilight, view of twilights filled her heart with a sense of peace she never found anywhere else, and she had a deep desire to once fly and touch the clouds, in a soothing beam of sunlight of twilight, but due to some her. childhood trauma, she has developed a phobia of heights (Acrophobia) which always kept her desire away from becoming reality.
When she was a young girl and climbed a tree and slipped accidentally, on waking up from unconsciousness she stayed at home resting most of the time, and her leg hurt with wounds due to that she never tried to climb again on trees.
As Emily grows, her phobia also grows and she starts avoiding heights frequently. Due to her passionate approach, she became a famous marine biologist and research and studies conducted by her published Expedition at the Galapagos Islands.
Her colleagues and her mentor were very happy for her as she received an invitation for the expedition but for traveling, she had to take a flight to the Galapagos Islands.
And it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity she didn't want to miss at any cost. She decided to prepare herself mentally for it. Her friends motivated her, her mentor guided, and she learned some meditations to help her to calm down and relax. Then she decided to take the first flight of her life. Determined Emily booked the flight. On the day of departure of the flight, her heart pounded as she boarded the plane.
She tightly gripped the armrests the engine of the plane started. She closed her eyes, focused on her breaths, and chanted the calming mantras she had learned during her mental preparations.
Time goes by and slowly her grip on the arm sets starts to release. She felt as if she had become her old self again, who wasn't afraid of heights and who liked to climb trees and gaze at twilights.
As she felt it, she slowly opened her eyes and looked out of the airplane windows. It was a lovely sight to behold. The plane was flying over a puffy layer of beautiful clouds and the rays of sunset were passing through them.
It melts her heart, and she overcomes her acrophobia and enjoys her expedition. As she returns to her hometown she tells the adventurous story to her mentors, friends, and family and they cherish her. From then onwards whenever she looked at the airplanes, she smiled with grace.
