Life in our little town is pretty ordinary, unless your name is Shoecheese. Shoecheese is a long time resident who has remained a mystery for most of his time here. Shoecheese doesn't have any friends or family, and he hasn't been out on the town for a long time. Some would say he's a hermit others would say he's a creepy old man. They just dont know him infact. You see a long time ago Shoecheese came into town to get groceries and sit at the park to feed the birds and squirrels. But Shoecheese couldn't understand why everybody he got next to moved away quickly. That made Shoecheese sad. So Then he decided to go to the park and didn't know why any of the birds or squirrels came near to eat, that made Shoecheese real sad. He thought nobody liked him and so he went home and never came out again. As time went on everyone wondered what happened to Shoecheese " is he ok!" Shoecheese has always been a nice person and nobody wanted to hurt his feelings by telling him that his shoes smelled really bad, like rotten cheese. So everyone just stayed away from Shoecheese. But one night the town held a meeting and all the people decided to welcome Shoecheese back into town and they wanted to make Shoecheese feel happy again so they all chipped in and bought him a brand new pair of shoes and had them gift wrapped. So with the brand new shoes all wrapped up like a present the whole town marched up to Shoecheeses house. The Mayor knocked on the door and a puzzled Shoecheese answered and was kinda scared to see everyone from town at his door. "Hello...may I help you" his voice shaking and his hands trembling " hello Shoecheese, on behalf of myself the Mayor and all the town we would like to welcome you back into the town. Everyone chipped in and bought you a present " here you go!-open it " "yeah!- open it Shoecheese" the people cheered.
With much hesitation, confusion and shock Shoecheese opened the gift and all of a sudden his face lit up with a smile from ear to ear. "WOW!!! a new pair of shoes!!" He yelled with excitement. He wasted no time kicking off his smelly old shoes and put on his shinny new pair of shoes. Everyone cheered as Shoecheese danced around, and a party began. Shoecheese was so happy and loved his new pair of shoes and was so thankful of everyone for showing that they cared. Shoecheese made an announcement thanking the Mayor and all the people in the town. The rest of the night was filled with fun and lafter. Shoecheese had an idea! He decided to gather everyone up and headed for the hills. As Shoecheese and the people made it to the highest point on the hill Shoecheese took out his shovel and buried his smelly old pair of shoes so that no one would ever smell those stinky things again. The people were all relieved. As life went on Shoecheese and all his new friends have always and will always live happily ever after.
