The Small Town with No Reflections
In the sleepy town of Ravenswood, nestled in the heart of the forest, a strange phenomenon occurred. No one knew when it started, but one day, people noticed that their reflections had vanished.
At first, it was just a rumor. Someone would mention that they couldn't see themselves in a window or mirror. But as time passed, it became clear that something was amiss.
People tried everything to see their reflections again: polished metal, still water, even the surface of a freshly waxed car. But nothing worked.
As the days went by, the townsfolk began to change. They became withdrawn and isolated, as if they were disappearing along with their reflections.
One stormy night, a group of brave teenagers decided to investigate the local abandoned mine, rumored to be the source of the strange occurrence. They entered the mine, laughing and joking, but never returned.
The next morning, their cars were still parked outside, engines cold, headlights dim. But the teens were never seen again.
The town was left with only one question: What happens when you lose your reflection?
And then, the whispers started. "The mine is taking us, one by one."
