"And I'll be next door, acting in a hysterical comedy," Terence continued. "Good luck." The men embraced. As they did, their respective scripts dropped onto the ground. As they were in a hurry, they picked up the scripts without checking whether it was the correct one, before making their way to the acting studio.

"Mum, I don't think I have much time left," Karin, who was portraying the role of Ginny, a patient suffering from kidney disease, said.
"Doctor, come quick," called Harriet, who was portraying the role of Ginny's mother, Delia.
"She's faking it," Marc, who was portraying the role of Doctor Hank said as he entered the ward.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Ginny asked in confusion.
"She's just trying to get out of gym class. You probably forgot your gym attire, didn't you?" Doctor Hank said as he looked at Ginny. Both Ginny and Delia looked at him, confused.
"Had there been some rewrites?" Ginny asked.
**The comedy**
Rita, an actor was portraying the role of Renee, a student in gym class who had injured her leg. "Oh no, coach. Help me, I think I'm injured," she groaned.
"Yeah, I think she's going to miss gym class," added Cavin, another actor who was portraying the role of Alexander, Renee's classmate. Just then, Terence, who was portrayed as Coach Steven from gym class, blowed his whistle as he entered the sports hall.
"Your life is in danger," he announced.
"Wait, what?" Alexander asked in confusion.
"Test results came back. It's terminal," Coach Steven continued.
**The medical drama**
Ginny and Delia were already in their push-up position.
"Let's go. The only way we can access this injury is through rigorous physical training," Doctor Hank said.
"How is this going to help my kidney failure?" Ginny asked.
"I thought she needed surgery?" Delia added.
"Another one. Otherwise, you're both failing gym class," Doctor Hank said.
**The comedy**
"She needs an emergency surgery," Coach Steven said, his face with great consternation. The students looked at him in disbelief.
"Time for the first incision, get the scalpel ready," Coach Steven continued.
As their lines did not tally with what their original lines were supposed to be, Marc and Terence realized that in their haste, they had taken the wrong script. However, there was no time to waste. They realized that to remedy the current situation, they had to come up with their own lines.
**The medical drama**
Doctor Hank examined Ginny's test results after a few months, and a smile ran across his face.
"I have good news," he said to both Ginny and Delia. "Latest test results came back. Patient is in a clean bill of health after rigorous physical training. She can be discharged, but she has to adhere to the recommeneded diet by the dietician." Both Ginny and Delia jumped with joy. Doctor Hank's unusual methods had helped Ginny recover from kidney failure without the need for surgery.
**The comedy**
Coach Steven had managed to remove a lump on Renee's leg, which was revealed to be caused by an old injury. "That was close," he said. "Had she been operated on much later, she would not have been able to practise sports in future." Everyone cheered, especially Renee, who had wanted to venture into sports as a career path. Coach Steven had saved the day.
When filming ended, Marc and Terence and their respective teams were met by the director with all smiles. Their respective dramas had earned a lot of laughter from viewers, and made it to the Top 10 dramas of Year 2025. The switched scripts incident is currently the last thing on their minds, as they would not have made it to Top 10 had it not been for this minor mishap.
